Wow, this was the absolute best finish parade that I've ever seen. You should be so proud of all of your stitching from the past indeed. The last piece, the floral one, on 40 ct is stunning. I love the picture you showed of the first thing that you ever stitched - what a special keepsake. Thank you for this great video, Shiloh, you are a seasoned stitcher and needleworker, and probably one of the best.
I literally sat here doing a drum roll for that last stitch from 2015. B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T.. Shiloh you are amazing! You truly have a talent but more than that you have a good eye. None of your older stitching seems dated. And the care that was put into the storage of these is impressive because none of them are damaged at all. What a treasure trove you have there. I am so happy for you that you were able to bring so much home. I know how hard it is as I moved from Michigan to Québec with literally one suitcase almost 50 years ago. xoxoxo
Haha thank you for the drumroll!!! And I have my mom to thank for keeping everything so tidy & safe! She is also a crafter (scrapbooking mostly) so knows the importance of good storage 😊
This was my favorite floss tube ever, so much fun to see your past stitches!! I had the same sunflowers piece from the cross stitch magazine mostly done, and my eye sight started changing and I stopped stitching. Then in 2019 I found it and wanted it finished. I was watching Caroline (yes, off the grid Caroline) and she encouraged me to try magnifiers. I did, finished it, and have been back to stitching since then. I have a lot of pieces from the 1990s and still love them. They are part of our family home. You are going to have the best looking walls as time goes by!
Oh my goodness Shiloh 😮. Your previous finishes are wonderful. I adore the Brightneedle pieces. They are so classic. Your big boppa flower and butterfly piece is simply stunning. I cannot wait to see it all framed up. It will be breathtaking. Thanks for such a delightful floss tube, Nicky xx
What a fantastic find! I can’t believe you forgot that you did a lot of those projects. How great to come across your first Crosstitch. What great memories for you.
You are an absolutely amazing stitching. I love watching. Flower Power is stunning. I too have lots of projects that needs fully finishing. Can't wait to see your fully finishes. Happy Stitching, Happy Crafting. 😀❤
What a fantastic show of beautiful stitching! Just so fantastic! And, those hummers and butterflies, very impressive for sure! I have a couple of huge charts similar to flower power but am so intimated by them! Oh to have 25 year old eyes again! Thanks for sharing! You are truly an inspiration to us all!
Oh my.... so many beauuuuutiful pieces!!! Love the idea of letting those missing halfs stay missing and frame it like that. Like you said... it's a story that is beautiful and funny to tell and remember! Also love the idea of framing your very first piece! It has an very emotional value and your first step into the joy of stitching your found through it. Also... the last piece you showed... stunning, just stunning! Can't imagine to stitch any of it over one on 40 ct.... Can't imagine to ever stitch on 40 ct, 'cause it's so tiny... and then over one? Just amazing! All in all... I loved that parade and hope you'll show more of your older pieces when you get your hands on them. Maybe also your Aida pieces? Would love it. :) And I'm so happy and also thankful that you took us with you down memory lane, 'cause to hear your memories and see (and also hear) your reactions to everything was just wonderful and warmed my heart so much. So, thank you!
These are amazing, Shiloh! I love that all your old finishes are such beautiful patterns. If I look back at mine, they are ... definitely not my style. That's the 80s and 90s for you, I guess. 😆But 2 over 1 on 40 count?! That blows my mind. That piece is amazing and I, too, can't believe you can't remember stitching it. I feel like that's trauma that would stick in your brain. 🙃 Thank you for sharing with us. What a treasure trove!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Definitely frame the flower power( last piece) first. It’s going to be stunning. And spend a lot of money!!! Hahah After all the hard work and studying you did to become a Doctor, that can be a “To Me From Me”gift. All your finishes were beautiful! Really enjoyed your video, can’t wait to see them framed. Happy Stitching!
Wow! So many beautiful finishes. No wonder you're such a fast stitcher, you've been stitching hard stuff for years. I'm glad you found them and are able to add them to your home.
Wow! I remember Flower Power from the 90s and can’t believe you actually finished it at such a young age!! Fantastic finishes! I also really loved The Drawn Thread Random Thoughts Sampler ❤
Omigosh, Shiloh! I don’t even know where to begin ❤️ I believe this is probably my favorite finish parade that I’ve seen. That Flower Power piece is jaw dropping gorgeous. I stitched a number of Drawn Thread patterns, so of course I love yours, lol. You’ve been stitching a lot longer than I have ( and I am old, haha) , so I had not heard of the Bright Needle patterns, but I absolutely love their muted color palettes used in their designs. I wish they’d reprint their patterns too, as I know I’d be buying a few. Thank you so much for the parade…between this and your Jacob Palooza video, you’ve got me wanting to stitch all the things! 😁
OMG, I love the needlework shop!!! Those quilts on the wall are so pretty. That first Drawn Thread piece is gorgeous. Hang on to all of these. I don’t have anything from when I was that age. I’ve given it all away. I wish now I would have kept them.
Well that was lovely! Beautiful stitching and clearly bringing you so much joy 😊. I stitched Toccata No 1 ( which is the first of them you showed) in 2006 and it’s on the wall behind me now. I have Toccata No2 in the drawer where it has been waiting for its moment for many years! And over one on 40 count - wow! It looks great.
Shiloh! Oh my gosh - I loved this - the BEST finish parade :) I am so happy for you - happy matting and framing! I'm looking forward to seeing each once framed. I can't even pick a favourite, well done and they're all beautiful.
Shiloh you are absolutely prolific in your stitching and such beautiful work....let alone your ability to remember what the patterns names and designers
Beautiful stitching ... you had very sophisticated tastes for one so young! Wonderful to still love the pieces especially in light of all the work involved.
OMG! ❤❤❤ What a great finish parade! I wrote down all the Bright Needle chart names. I love them too. I’ll keep my eyes peeled from them. I do have one, Blue Dog Sampler. I haven’t stitched it yet, but when I do you will get first dibs.
Absolutely amazing treasures - wow!! I think it's adorable that you stitched like that in your childhood :) I believe Michelle (Penny's Daughter Shares on FT) was doing the sunflower chart as a stitch along and had a few join her last year! Can't wait to see the others!
What a fabulous discovery! Your history in stitches! Get those projects framed as soon as possible for a “fully finished” video to follow up. Just lovely! 🤩🤩🤩
I love your finishes. I stitched Flower Power too. It was my first time stitching on linen. Paula hand dyed fabric for me to look like sky and grass. I added a hedgehog because I love them. I also added a dragonfly and extra ladybugs to represent my family. I really loved stitching it.
How wonderful that you have all these pieces from 10-15+ years ago and how timeless they all are! I ran across the sunflower piece in an old magazine not too long ago and recently purchased the Tocata piece, which was kitted, from a lady destashing.
Oh Mylanta, I have Flower Power in my stash and never realised how big it is. However I have to say that I absolutely loved your Random Thoughts and the Dandelion piece.
Shiloh, you can’t tell, but I’m squealing and jumping up and down with you! All of these are just amazing! Each one is prettier than the last! And then you pull out Flower Power. I almost fell over. I have had this chart forever. Have I started it? No! But what an inspiration! It is sincerely one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen! Ever. I am just so glad that you have a real big girl. Job now and can get these framed! They all must be framed. Stat! Loved the little needlework shop too! I can’t wait to see what else is in your parents garage! And please start signing and dating your pieces again! It is so fun to look back and see when you stitched them! Keep up the good stitchy work! ❤
Thank you for sharing it is a joy to see your younger work. I didn't keep any of mine they were given away to family. I started enboidery by 10 years old and then everything else along the way. All I can say is way to go, I am overjoyed to see your work.
Those finishes are amazing! I really love your flower garden stitch. It's going to be amazing when framed. My first cross stitch was when I was a kid. One of my cousins was having their first baby. I stitched one of those stamped baby bib kits. I want to say it was a little turtle with balloons 🤣 Didn't start seriously stitching until after grad school. A friend of mine inspired me and I haven't stopped since then 😊 Have a wonderful week!
Amazing! At 17 I was just learning Needlepoint, but you were quite the needlewoman! So glad those were well preserved and now you can frame them! I was adopted and no one in my family did needlework, but later met my birth mother and grandmother who both did! So thankful you can honor your family tradition in this way!
Oh wow -isnt it crazy how we do things without fear when we don’t know what the “rules” are LOL. Your 40ct 2 over 2 might be thick but it looks so full and rich… it was worth it! Take care, Nic x
Wowza! What an amazing parade from your youth. I loved, loved your very first cross-stitch, I hope you get that framed too. It was adorable. And you’ve been talking about how you don’t like samplers, but you were stitching them when you were a teen. Do you think you unknowingly got burnt out on samplers? All of them were lovely by the way!! My mouth was agape the entire time with what you accomplished at such a young age. And that last stitch, chefs kiss! What about double framing it? Thanks for showing those off, what a delight.
I may have slightly misspoke - I LOVE samplers, but haven’t been a huge fan of reproduction samplers in the past! I think it’s because they have other people’s names on them & I want my name on them! 😂
I just kept sitting here saying “oh my gosh, oh my gosh.“ That flower power piece is stunning. With your love of birds, I was going to ask if you had seen any of the crossed wing patterns. I have several. I also have a passion for birds. And I love your story about your first Crosstitch. I taught my identical triplet girls when they were young also. Only one of them has continued. The general surgery resident has not, and I wish she would because it would be a great stress reliever. I keep telling her she needs to get in contact with you. 😀 Thank you again. I loved seeing all of these pieces!
How beautiful! So many wonderful finishes. Amazing that you stitched on linen so early - you were a gorgeous stitcher so young - and just continue on. You inspire me.
Hopefully I can still get the chart for the Bookshelf and put it on my bookshelf since I am an avid reader too. Great parade of previous work - I loved it. If you can and are willing to lace your finished projects, you could go to Michaels to find a frame that would fit. That would cut your cost. You could also get frames at a thrift shop - get rid of what is in there and use it for your pieces.
How come all your older projects still look so beautiful and mine look…..frankly dated? Although I also stitched the Toccata piece (the one you made shorter) and your video definitely made me want to get it framed. Enjoyed that video immensely 😀

Shiloh, those were amazing pieces you shared from the past. You have wonderful treasures. So enjoyed seeing your excitement about your find.
Wow. Your forgotten pieces are just lovely. I bet you had such a great time looking at them again. I know I enjoyed seeing them
What treasures you found! How lovely to be able to get some of those framed and up on your walls. That last floral piece is just beautiful!
What an amazing stitching story! Very impressive work, especially as a teen! Flower Power is gorgeous!
This was awesome! Thanks for sharing. Your creative gift for stitching and the passion you have for this amazing craft is clear to see.

What an accomplished teen you were Shiloh! Now you are an accomplished woman.
What a fun FlossTube! I loved seeing your stitching!
That was so much fun watching all of your finishes. Reading and cross stitching were my favorite activities when I was growing up, too. Still are!
Wow! I remember Flower Power from the 90s and can’t believe you actually finished it at such a young age!! Fantastic finishes! I also really loved The Drawn Thread Random Thoughts Sampler ❤

Beautiful stitching ... you had very sophisticated tastes for one so young! Wonderful to still love the pieces especially in light of all the work involved.
Blown away! What an excellent stitcher you are!
Wow, you were an accomplished stitcher as a teenager! I’m so glad you found that box and that you’re still excited about your work. It’s all amazing.
What a fun video to see your beginning stitched pieces.
Oh my that Flower Power is beautiful. I’d definitely frame that one first!
Beautiful finishes!!! Flower Power is amazing!!!

You certainly spent your youth well, stitching such lovely pieces, and so many over one! Amazing!

Shiloh they were all lovely, but that Flower Power one is stunning, and looks like it belongs in a museum! WOW ❤❤❤❤❤
Flower Power is stunning!
I would love to see you stitch in real time. You must be a very fast stitcher! Love all that you have!
Wow, thank you for showing your finishes. They are all beautiful. Happy stitching!

Fantastic finishes! Now to get them on your walls!
Incredible!! 😃👏
A standing ovation for all your previous finishes. Flower power is a masterpiece and you should frame that first.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! 💚
Oh Mylanta, I have Flower Power in my stash and never realised how big it is. However I have to say that I absolutely loved your Random Thoughts and the Dandelion piece.
WOW just amazing all so beautiful and again WOW
I also loved Brightneedle and stitched many of their designs, also loved The Drawn Thread. Another one from that time frame is Earth Threads
Would totally be up for a part 2! If these are anything to go by i imagine the rest of your finishes are also gorgeous
Fun to hear about your stitching origin story! Baby Shiloh stitching!🙂❤️
Shiloh, you can’t tell, but I’m squealing and jumping up and down with you! All of these are just amazing! Each one is prettier than the last! And then you pull out Flower Power. I almost fell over. Ummmmm….Flower Power?!?!? My jaw is dropped!!!!!! Looovvvveeee itttt!
Those are great pieces. You are so talented!
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
I stitched the same sunflower pattern for my Grandmother and it is the craft closet. It needs to be framed.
This is so fun! 🩵☮️
Oh wow -isnt it crazy how we do things without fear when we don’t know what the “rules” are LOL. Your 40ct 2 over 2 might be thick but it looks so full and rich… it was worth it! Take care, Nic x

Wow! Awesome!!
Thank you for sharing your amazing cross-stitch journey. The first project with the masking tape is so cute. It brings back memories.
So many beautiful finishes! Thank you for sharing them with us! Loved them all, and Flower Power is something I would love also doing one day!
Sooo good!! Thanks for sharing!

Haha I love it!! Gosh general surgery residency sounds soooo stressful - she must have zero free time!
What great finishes you've found!
I also heard that Brightneedle is going to design again, but haven't heard anything since.
Marilyn
Fantastic!
How beautiful! So many wonderful finishes. Amazing that you stitched on linen so early - you were a gorgeous stitcher so young - and just continue on. You inspire me.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful 🤩 previous finishes they look amazing 🤩 have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Can’t wait to them framed….please show them as you get them back! They are all awesome!
They are all beautiful. Especially the last one. Great work Shiloh.
Such good stuff!!! I I were to show my finishes from my 20's it would be all geese and teddy bears! And of course all on 14count Aida
Haha I do have a bunch of those as well 😂😂
Hopefully I can still get the chart for the Bookshelf and put it on my bookshelf since I am an avid reader too. Great parade of previous work - I loved it. The lacing is the hardest part for me!! Haha
I really need to bite the bullet & practice some more so I can get good at it - thanks for the tip! 😊
What a wonderful floss tube! Thanks!
Just saw a pattern that resided me of you, Vintag Birds by Jeannette Douglas.
Love love the little girl picking daisies. I would love to stitch that for my granddaughter. ❤❤❤ Unfortunately I could find the pattern on line.
It’s actually called Flowers for Mommy by Janlynn! (I misremembered) Googling that brought up a few options on eBay!
@@Xstitchmd thank you for your reply.
What beautiful work you've done! Thank you for sharing them.
Wow those are gorgeous!❤
Flower power is amazing. I have the pattern and want to pull it out and start.
Wow that is amazing
Bright needle charts are available, just Google their name.
How come all your older projects still look so beautiful and mine look…..frankly dated? Although I also stitched the Toccata piece (the one you made shorter) and your video definitely made me want to get it framed. Enjoyed that video immensely 😀
💜
🥰😍
I always enjoy watching you. You have a beautiful smile. I just wanted to let you know that I shouted you out on my last Flosstube, Faith's Crafty Ideas, on November 7. Would love for you to come over and take a look!!
What a lovely trip down memory lane. Why have you stopped dating your pieces? If you some day hand them on, the new owners might like to see when they were made?
Honestly just laziness haha - once I put that last stitch in, I can’t be bothered to then do my initials & date! But maybe I should start again! I always do my initials & date if the pattern calls for it!
