  • Berkeley Springs is a town in, and the county seat of, Morgan County, West Virginia, United States, in the state's Eastern Panhandle. In 1776, the Virginia Legislature incorporated a town around the springs and named it Bath.
    Great Cacapon is a census-designated place in Morgan County in the U.S. state of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. As of the 2010 census, its population was 386. Great Cacapon takes its name from the Cacapon River which empties into the Potomac River to the town's east. - Wikipedia

    Wow. It's been a long time since I traveled that road. We lived higher up the mountain just beyond Great Cacapon. My brother and I attended elementary there until 6th grade, then junior high in Berkeley Springs. My parents made that trip many times down to Berkeley Springs to get spring water. One summer some older boys tied a rope to the bottom of the green bridge for swinging out over the creek. Those days were happy days, fond memories indeed. I was hoping your camera would catch a view of the castle, alas it did not. Thanks for the video and the brief glimpse down memory lane.
