On higher ply tires you can also use the bead breaker to push in the tire to the drop center on the bottom as you insert the bars to the top and start dismounting. Use your 2 bars at the top as normal. but don't pull one out. It's just a struggle to pull 1 out. just get another bar. Make your job easier.
You can tell you've done this a while. I do some mobile mechanic repairs and commercial equiptment but I dont have the opportunity to work on this type of equiptment . Good video dude
Quick tip. Sometimes the bead breaker won't go in. Or it goes in so little it's in jeopardy of flying out. Put 2 short 1' spoons in the bead. 8" apart to make a gap to accept the tool.
You most definitely need to make more videos bro I just love your videos I have learned so much from you it is not even funny thank you for putting these kind of videos out
Changed that tire like a boss. When I was younger on the farm we had a combine tire that had to be replaced. I was told to help the tire man. Asked what I could do to help. He replied stand right over there. To this day I have much respect for y'all. That man handled that big tire like it was nothing!!! Difference was he knew how to let the weight do the work for him unlike me!!! Lessen learned!!!
Keep them coming man!! Love your techniques. We change tires differently but I always try to keep in mind your methods on service calls cause you never know what you'll run into. Question? That tube was full of water? Can you elaborate on why? Just curious.
@@TripleATireService I was going to say that tires soft...some tires like solideal are way stiffer especially in the winter...in that case I’ll take the rim off lay it on the ground and pry the rim into the tire.
Hey man, looked for your email but could not find. I am in need of GOOD valve stems for my skid loader. I want to go brass. TR618A or TR501? The 501 looks shorter, but the thickness of the rubber seal looks a lot thicker than the rim, 618 is longer but rubber looks to be the right thickness of rim? Which way should I go? Hopefully this finds you. Thank you.
I’d say TR618A I use those on all farm industrial agriculture equipment if I can they are best beacuse it’s 2 piece the insert comes out and you put your big quick air once the bead seats unscrew quick air screw in insert no fumbling of Losing the valve core but more air flow is key 👍🏻
i'd like to see this guy do it here in Canada when it's -25 and that soft bias ply tire is frozen and you have no traction because your on a sheet of ice. your good bro but you are also in near perfect weather and working conditions. not hating just stating the challenges.
@@DynasDaily oh i plan on it lol i figured id need that, my strap, and half a tub of murpheys to pack around the rim. Saw the tire friday before i clocked out and the beads really close together. Oh well though i finnaly get to start OTR stuff so im not gonna complain lol
@@masontyler479 There's a lot to learn!! But you'll love it and get real good at it eventually. Watching experienced people do it, doing research, etc. is the best way to start. Kudos to you for picking up a very skill demanding trade. Be safe and good luck!!
With a bead to bead tire I always start with the strap then I may lower the machine to let the tire come out of the drop center then hit it with the blaster if needed. Soap is the last draw for me I just hate the mess. Good luck to you! ua-cam.com/video/MCLq2nn-GFw/v-deo.html
I'm sorry for you people that are using this as an instructional video. It's funny to me that tiremen only base there "skill" on how fast they can change a tire? How bout how long a repaired or installed tire will last? This guy says he was just there a few days ago. That's a redue in my books. Guess it's all in how much pride you put in your work Its a lost skill!
Really enjoyed your videos. Hope all is well my friend. Been watching for years and just hope you're doing well in life!!!

Never thought about using the bead breaker to make that thick ass side wall drop down by the drop center that’s smart

Hey you're in Florida??
And how long have you been in the industry and do you run your own business or do you work for a tire company

Thanks! The tire is supposed to be tubeless but someone previously installed a tube. Water was added for traction and stability

Are you a fan of fluid filled tyres? You'd end up in a right mess if that was on the dirt while removing.
