Love your videos man. You have actually helped me change my backhoe tires, just by watching your videos and seeing your techniques. You are a hard worker and deserve every cent you make.
There's men. and then there's TIREMEN! (I been doing that kind of work 4 almost 40yrs) my respect and admiration for you and all who keep machines rolling n people working.
I've had 25 years of OTR experience and that job made me strong and when you been on call 4 years straight it made me an angry asshole. When I started I weighed 175lbs 25 years later I weighed 260 and I was just a flipping beast. This is a damn good way to get a workout especially if you can stack a bunch of 14.00-24's 10 high by hand
Good job mate. I hate 14.00x24's and picked up some good tips from you .. especially the whole, "leaving the rim on the machine" thing ... I've been working on everything from 8" wheel barrow tires all the way up to 23.5x25's since I was born (family tire company) ... but damn 13.00/14.00x24's kick my ass every time.
You are a true profession and I like all your videos. Did you know OTC makes a tire bar holder the part number is OTC 5732 and the OTC 5733. I too work on tires and are alway sent out on a job where two people would be nice but most of the time just me.These tools make my hard life easier!!!
The only thing I would have done differently is i would have pumped out the liquid before breaking down the beads. ( the excess water makes it harder to dismount, besides that who wants to work in mud. As for the question someone asked.the liquid ( calcium) is basically saltwater used for adding weight for traction and stability. .... good video and good tire tech.
I always put the valve to the top and pump in 55 gallons of calcium chloride and water every time. And always put 25 to 30 psi. That's how I was trained to do it
forgot to mention, but you would probably figure it out seeing your a good tire man. sometimes the bead gets a little tight, and you have to use the flat bar to open it up to fit the tubeless bar in. Please let me know if it worked for you, or not.
I know it sounds weird, but try the flat end of the tubeless bar when mounting tires. Works really well, and gives ya a little more leverage. The bar only works on the one bead instead of both beads. that is if your bar has the little notch on it. Let me know what you think of that way. I used to love it...
If you don't submerge the wheel completely with fluid it will rust the wheel on the inside. you should get a fluid pump and a barrel and just reuse the fluid, save time and the back bead is easier to break when the tire is sucked down from the pump.
A few things have changed and I not on the road as much. Being boss behind a desk for right now. I'll be going to SEMA this year so might make a video out there of all the new stuff and bad ass show cars/trucks
Actually it's really called Liquid Ballast, the most common type is Calcium Chloride however over the last few years a decent number have switched to beet juice due to it not being corrosive like calcium chloride is.
@@TripleATireService water would not help with the traction, water should only be added to the rear tires for the purpose of adding more counterweight to equipment , mostly loaders, telehandler lifts etc.
I've heard that calcium will rust the wheels quickly if they are not filled enough. Completely covering the wheel hub as to not expose it to air is the trick lo longer wheel life.
I guess, after hearing that, the only other reason for calcium is that it's heavier than anti-freeze. Can't remember by how much, but it's substantial.
Run with about 75% filled with whatever you choose to fill it with, a few options on what you can use. It adds weight for stability like said, but it's better than say steel weights added to the vehicle as its not supported by the vehicle's wheel bearings, axles etc. So less wear on the machine but still the same stability and better traction.
I respect this guy, but I do the same shit. Except I'm in Michigan, and loaded tires aren't filled with water (it freezes in winter). He's lucky he wasn't sprayed with chloride or beet juice. I pump that shit out
TripleATireService what part of florida are you base from ? & are y'all hiring by any chance I've been in the tire road service business for about 7 yrs ✌
From tire to tire guy this guy is fucken bad ass. 10 months into the tire game & much more to come

Good job my friend. The first time I ever put one on I realized I had the tread on in the reverse direction. Yes, it was a long day.
I gotta deal with a few of those thanks for putting this up I had to give up earlier cuz I kept trying to put the first bead on without vice grips
I’m happy it helped! On a stiff tire I go light on the lube with the 1st bead so that way it doesn’t slip off.

You helping me out bro. I'm doing 11R24 & 295. I want to start doing the big tires.
Good job. We have machines for this work. Cant imagine do it like this.
Never seen a tire tech with a grill before… They must pay a hell of a lot more where he’s from than where I’m from
No disrespect, he knows what he's doing

Excelente job my brother you know what you doing.
You definitely earn your pay dude.
Great job, You make it look quiet simple, one question, was that some kind of lubricant you used to help you take it off or just water?
Soap ou something for lubrification. To remove the tire easily
Fine job
You made that look easy
I used to hate to do those in the middle of the summer and they never gave me a porta power it was all hammer time with a bar and a come a long

LOOKS EASY BRO,.BUT ANYWAY I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS AND I LEARN A LOT IDEAS FROM YOU,.HOW TO DO THESE KIND OF TIRES BRO,..
I'm glad too see I'm not the only one who gets there ass kicked by 14.00-24's lol
The amount of them I've changed at Dublin Airport, they've broken my body 🤣

Never done it that way but I'll give it a try. Thanks
I worked on a grade all tire forever just trying to dismount it. I wish I knew about that port a power tool at the time
+Donald Cisney It makes it so much easier
That is a neat trick, thanks fellow tire humper
I've gotten my fingers caught in the bead once and nobody was around to help me out either.
do you use soap and water for your tire lube
Using the flat end works good on all tractor tires, and your 14.00x24, 19.5L24, and etc. just thought I'd add that...

More videos please. Would love to see you adding water or better yet salt.
I take it you live in warm climate? Tough work, changing those things. Hat's off to you.
Thanks! Definitely warm in Florida. I can't deal with the cold weather. Thanks for watching.
It's a lot more fun doing it in the freezing cold and in the rain at night time, and the tools make your hands so cold you can't feel them anymore
Que modelo son la espátulas que usas? Saludos cordiales
AWESOME. JOB
Do u ever use a bead inflator.bead bazooka??
All the time
Great video!
Muy buen trabajo amigo lo felicito men
Have you ever done any big combined tires
I have never seen a tubeless with liquid ballast, but being in Minnesota we need calcium chloride, don't think I want that touching the rim.
Hey cuanto cobras tú de mano de obra?
is that a 16 or 24 ply tire?
Did you lube the tire when you mounted the first bead?
Because the tire was so stiff and not flexible I barely lubed it so that way it wouldn't slip off while I was mounting it.
What’s up baby! When yo next videos coming up!? Check out mines

whats in the blue bottle that your squirting on the tire?
Mixture of dish soap and water
What kind of gloves is good doing tires
Nothing last. I’ve tried all types but I just find that the cheaper ones last as long as the expensive ones

We've ordered tires from Triple A in the past here in indy
More videos please👍
What is the liquid that came out of the tire?
+Fillow Tree just water
Water filled tire so it keeps the forklift on the ground ,in the cold parts of places we use calcium liquid or antifreeze so it doesn't freeze.
please excuse my ignorance, what is the water in the tire for?
Mainly for traction
It's called hydrofill and it helps stabilize the machine when it's carrying a load
ommm, i see, i understand now. thanks bro.

Foam fill that tire man!
There is a trick i learned to raise the tire off the ground without a jack.....front or back....for that kind of hi-lo
thanks
Those 14 / 24s should be foam filled. The calcium/liquid stuff really doesn't work. Good work tho.
what is the name of the yellow machine
Oliver Diaz Porta Power, Bead Breaker
Should have lifted it up a little bit higher so your not fighting the ground when mounting the tire
why you pat water I.n tire
Hello there
I'm on his followers I like your videos
Why do you put water in the tires were
from Paul
Water is put in as ballast. Main benefits are extra weight, stability and traction.
Wait... A water filled tire? As in, it runs full of water instead of air? Seriously?
Yeah, that's a common practice, for added weight. Obviously in colder climates water mixed with anti-freeze or calcium chloride is used.
Jason Harris no it does not run with water solely there is still air added to the tire

I hate it. Just glad we fill them back up with water
TripleATireService what part of florida are you base from ? & are y'all hiring by any chance I've been in the tire road service business for about 7 yrs ✌
In Michigan and we also use calcium, but many people are going to beet juice. It's not as nasty and it doesn't eat the skin off your hands.
make that money!
So...I guess they didn't want the calcium pumped back in????
Awsome video!!, i should start working for a tire company. Check out your gold teeth!!!!
