He does have quite an ego when you consider his beliefe that he makes manifest things such as the global subconscious as opposed to had been himself manifested into that state by beings beyond the vail. He has often held the resentful position of believing he is going to be the one to bring people into prosperity and he says it with such distain though this bothers him but also to state in a way that he believes of course its him like hes doing us a favor. He accepted people wanted to hear his opinions, and he has grown to like the attention or has embraced the attention. Coupling this with his preference to avoid ever acknowleding or considering any opinions or claims that are contradictory to his own he has developed an unralistic view of other peoples ciritism and that is that they aren;t valid because they contradict him. Im not really trying to sling arrows, some times hes right about things to an extent but he lacks a lot of experience andd wisdom.
He tells people about these sorts of situations that largely could never exist but people want to believe they will. There are a number of circumstances that he has talked about that I can not see ever coming to fruition with out significant interest abd actions on everyones part. Which to get people to agree on anything even half of the time is a major feat. People need to give more thought to the answers they are being given and then look at the world and compare them and make a real educated decision about whether it looks more like we will do what he said or that we will stay the same. or how much more likely we would take a 3rd path which is between both places and accounts for the issues of old and the needs of tomorrow.
HE just needs more time to really meditate on these things and consider everything a little more completely. Honestly to me he comes off sounding like an intellectualist with a mesiah complex like any with a mesianic complex they all mean well. even I can exhibit some messianic qulitities but I can not give what God can give. No man can. well, one man can the actual Christ but that would be God the first anointed. hatguy does for the most part fight a good fight.

You put your finger on the hypocrisy of corporatism.
But the game is multilevel, my friend. Solving the logical sociopolitical and economic problems is not the pragmatic issue. It's a red herring meant to protect the status quo. Both by distracting you with useless analysis and identifying you as an idealistic threat to the existing order. I mean it's not a logistical or intellectual problem in fact. Clearly we know how it all works technically and socially. So why is still ruled by money?
It's a honey-pot for idealism. Yes the world is a feudal kingdom tiled by the elite and that has never been more true than in the past century of superpower empires with captive populations and territories that span the habitable spaces of the globe. And if you are more interested in fairness for all, or freedom, or Lovingkindness for all living beings, being obviously more important than money, wealth, and power, -- then you are a threat to civilization as it stands. A Revolutionary figure. And more power to you!
But don't be naive about why things do not change under the force of activism, unless and until activism itself becomes a tool of maintaining control by the old order. The hypocrisy that outrages is political bait for young troublemakers to tag themselves with. In general.
Every human group I have ever been a part of has a logical fallacy at its heart. A contradiction that cannot be acknowledged. If you prefer ideal truth, in any domain, to being in the group then you are a danger to leadership and therefore to the group itself.
In religion, it's contradictions that force you to submit to a book or a priest instead of getting good questions answered. This is engineered! A feature of societies, not a bug.
In pure mathematics, the fallacy is a metaphysical assertion about various "infinite" concepts, that means that real number theory is the foundation of a logical house of cards. This is the most logical field of endeavor ever invented by humans, as far as I know. The other fields are no different, in being based on group loyalty over "truth".
Mostly though I would say the issue is not about believing in bullshit. Most people are not that stupid or needy. The issue is maintaining the social position of profession, club inclusion, popular reputation, etc. You are rewarded for loyalty above correctness everywhere, and the tests are placed intentionally at the foundation of every academy, church, courthouse, club, and professional association. And now, tech platforms too.
I can't do it, personally. I prefer homelessness! It's a joy by comparison with human social bullshit, and that is no exaggeration.

@@brockmiller7305 I wish. Figuring this out at 56 means I am late to the party, for sure. But people are on a spectrum after all.
I do feel like it was a major breakthrough -- for a nerd. Normies can see it right away and aren't very offended by the injustice or hypocrisy, because the way it works is actually damned clever from the gaming perspective. Gotta admire ruthless efficiency that begins at birth, I guess?
Unfortunately those of us who don't understand it are mostly tools. Confused why no one listens, the truth gets shouted from the rooftops, over and over, and nothing changes.
The ones who believe deeply in the free exchange of ideas and spend their lives thinking and writing -- the university nerds -- they are herded and milked daily in return for food and a nice place to live. And if they know it, they accept all that as the way the world is. Smart enough -- not to rock the boat.
Nah if I was a genius I might figure a way out? But this is why, also, every culture historically has its share of "crazy" people who simply refuse to participate. We pay the consequences, whatever they may be, and try to stay out of cities. And history moves on.

A person whose intelligent assessment of the world is not the perspective of a cultural captive or economic slave, but has understood human culture and psychology from both subjective and objective points of view.
I know that might sound strange. But look, it's just the layout of a gaming arena. The game is multifaceted and multilayered. Nothing is as it seems, except for some stuff which is exactly what it looks like.
So what I am.poimting at is this gameplay scenario where some characters don't yet know the higher levels of the game where everything is pretty military and locked down by the old timers whose families have been playing these dungeons for _centuries_ . In the lower levels are trinkets and distractions, and the noobs all think the game is about that shiny happy looking stuff. I mean, if that's the game you're playing, then that is what the game is all about. For you.
But there are other levels. Even right in front of us, people are playing different games at different levels, sitting next to you on the couch or whatever.

Democracy has the same inherent flaw as most other forms of government. The purpose of government is to protect people from the bad decisions of others, that is the purpose of law itself. Democracy forces individuals to suffer due to the choices of others. Under monarchy, the population suffers due to the choices of the monarch. No, "minorities" who actually make up a majority lose to the "majority" which is actually the minority when it comes to voter turn out for bills to be voted into laws. The majority of people voting for bills are elderly white people who are typically conservative . Iits not the government that did this to anybody it was the people who did it to themselves. They pushed the responsibiliies to the government to make decisions and give up their voice in the situation. A debate is great but it does nothing if it doesn't affect change. You can debate with all of the people you want to about how things should work and how they should be but if you aren't exercising your authority to direct those changes your debate means nothing. Its idle chatter with out result or meaningful conclusion.
The solution is one of two things we need immutably unimpeachable people in all of the seats of power which isn't so easy to do, and or 2 we need citizen participation from way more people and they need to learn that their votes don't count at election time they count the rest of the time. Out side of people taking up their civil duties there really isn't much else in the way of solutions.

I really love how you are somehow mentioning that the structure of how a website can affect sociological views as well as can potentially cause them. Any media reflects the state and thought processes of a culture at a specific increment of time. We sensationalized a lot of pain because the structure that is in place. Break down the structure and build up the people, and we may have something.

For public ownership to work everyone has to be on the same wavelength. For it to be a true communal product censorship of ideas must end, and everyone's contributions must be treated with equal value. The state of society leads me to believe this would be difficult, if not impossible, unless you have a major shift in public attitude and thought. Although the corporate elite are the ones who enforce the censorship far too many people are happy to see it happen, like schoolyard children. "You don't agree with me? Be gone with you."

You look awesome! It's like a blast from the past when I watched all your early vids. You still have that way of fascinating people with your natural unique style. The thing I learned at this point in my life is it's ALLLL about money. Entirely. The one's with the most money have the most power and the most control. That's been since the being of the monetary system and always will be. Whatever the average person is guided to do is strictly to make the rich richer. Any so called "good" that comes from it is strictly by default. This is only a smoke screen to make us feel like life is improving. It's not.

As a borderline zoomer I can agree 100% that most zoomers suck at staying on one problem for as long as it's probably necessary to actually solve it. It's kind of a curse.
Great that you're still making vids though!
Edit: As someone who just watched to the end and read the information on the site...I'm not a user or even a fan of crypto, but if you could actually use it for a good cause, this would for sure be it.

Good video, and good work as always. I think you've naturally arrived at the tenants espoused by socialism. You mention multiple times the idea of public ownership of the site since we do the work creating the social media scene. This is literally the core philosophy of socialism. Just something to think about, it seems like your always stating things which run parallel to these ideas.

How can everyday people make informed choices when there is so much misinformation and disinformation that the facts are kept unclear. We do not have a trusted source anymore to create an informed decision. Also the collective are not all equipped to think critically and observe topics from opposing positions. For a public run social communication system to work how would we tackle these obstacles?

Unfortunately the origins of Facebook are not what most perceive. It was/is a DARPA project for data collection/control. In a perfect world it would be nice to have FB, Twitter, etc belong to the people but they don't and we are just a dollar to them. How many real relationships are forged thru these platforms? It's kind of like trying to find true love at a local bar you know? I love how you think doll and as an old person I sleep better knowing the future in the hands of beautiful souls as yourself. well we live in a new day in age where being coherent doesn’t even matter. as long as you say something that has shock value, it will get pushed to the top whether it be a straight up lie or someone’s ridiculous opinion (& everyone has a right to their own opinion) but some people are on twitter solely just to rock the boat & those are typically the comments/tweets that get pushed to the top. you’d be asking a lot of humanity at this point to have topics of discussions that unite ideas vs. just straight up tearing someone down for the fun of it.
