Mrs. H You are such an awesome teacher. I have learned so much from you. In fact, I am canning now because of your great attitude of “yes you can can”. I started with canning carrots. Now if you can it I can it. I am so thankful for finding your channel. You are truly a blessing.
I😮t took me 3 years to find it, to replace my original, but... I finally scored an older presto canner, in beautiful condition, with the gauge, weights, tray, basket, and a new extra seal/gasket, for $10 at an estate sale. I love my All American canners, but I also loved that older Presto.. I'm sooo happy.
This sounds delicious!! Thank you for sharing this video with us!! Now I will have to look for the chicken wing video. Is there a written ingredient list for this sauce?
You are so adorable, thank you for sharing. I will definently try this. I watch you on gardening and have done some of your tips, and thank you so much for the fly traps you suggested last year they are great. Am now battling squirrel issues, ugh. Any suggestions ?❤
We stay away from soy as much as possible. We don’t use soy sauce (Tamari) very often, only with sushi, but going to try the aminos. Hope it tastes similar.
Thank you for this video since we asked 😊. Although it's been a hot minute canning for me, hanging out in the kitchen with you is always worth the time...and i can learn, too.
I love anything made with Teriyaki sauce and I’m going to do this one. Also, I planted someCubanelles and they are doing wonderful. I also found a new pepper 🌶️ it’s called Shishito pepper. It’s doing great! Have a great day
I have learned so much from you. You’ve given people help, new recipe ideas, and safety instructions. I really appreciate everything you do for the canning community and I value your opinion. I do have a question though. I see a lot of people lately who are taking their pressure canners and using it as a steam canner or just purchasing a steam canner. Some people even said they no longer use a water bath canner. Anything that required water bathing they use the steam canner. However, I see you still water bath can. Is that just a personal preference or do you feel it’s not as safe to use a steam can for food preservation? Thank you again for everything you do. I really appreciate it.
Thank you! If you weren't going to use all of the coconut amino in the near future, how would you store the remainder? I also don't consume soy and use amino instead. I'm buying those little bottles and hate when I run out (plus it's expensive if I run out when it's not on sale!) so I'd love to be able to preserve it in smaller portions.
Thank you! That was helpful and you made it so clear and simple. I am currently making bone broth and I usually freeze it but now you got me thinking about the possibility of canning it? Is that possible? H Ave you tried it? Will you consider a video tutorial? Blessing!
It is a pleasure to connect with you today and canning is wonderful. I need your help. In 2020 I began canning all sorts of food along with you. My question is this. It’s now 2024 and I took two pints of Lamb Stew from my pantry. I forgot how long can I eat from a pantry 3-4 yrs old? I live in Zone 8 a. Thank you kindly
Wow I bet that will be fantastic!! Thank you for doing this video!!! Now I am going to find the one you did with the chicken wings!!Is there a written recipe for this sauce?
If you are omitting the pineapple and pineapple juice could replace that with orange juice and mandarin slices so that you still get that citrus flavor? Because for some reason, my child is crazy and just doesn’t like pineapple. Second question have you not used the steam caring function of that? I love the steam bath method because it uses a lot less water.
No, different times are required depending on what you are canning. Get a good reference, such as the New Ball Canning Guide or similar book, ebook, or website.

Please feel free to omit the pineapple if you prefer.
Does it make a difference if you have a flat top stove vs a gas stove with the presto canner?
@@Proverbs31woman42 Leisa has been asked and she said you have to contact the manufacturer of your stove.

Great video Mrs. H.
I am a 69 yr old just now hoping to learn to can & preserve. I am so grateful to have found your channel! Bless your day!
Have fun!
Im 63 and just learning. I absolutely love that she sticks to and teaches strictly safe canning methods. I feel like i can trust her advice.
You can do it! Have fun!

I just made this teriyaki sauce. Absolutely amazing!!! Fantastic recipe. ❤❤❤❤❤
Your canning is PHENOMENAL!!!!
Yhank you for the soy alternantive. Im alergic to soy.
A lot of people don't know that aminos aren't necessarily non soy based. I have Bragg's aminos, also soy derived, but read the back label to find out.
What a great alternative to soy. Thank you Marie. Love your Chanel
Love your channel. I've canned most of my life (67) still learning.
You are awesome Mrs. H!!!! Just love you!!! Keep the videos coming!!!!
Good day to all.
Thank you for demonstrating how to make teriyaki sauce, one of many spices mixes and sauces we should make from scratch instead of buying.
I so enjoy watching and learning from you and Mr H .
Mr homestead heart is a lucky man 👍❤️
I cannot wait to try this sauce! Thank you for sharing your recipe! Happy June to you and Mr. H from Iowa! ❤

I never knew about Coconut instead of the Soy. I rather use the coconut. Thank you .
The jars are singing to you and that is an awesome song

Thank you Mrs. H peace n blessings 🫶🏿🕎🫶🏿
I think peach would be a good sub for the pineapple, too! 🧐 Wonder how we’d do the liquid…..
OJ is also good with this. Leave out the clear gel to make a marinade.
Thank you for a very informative video - great explanation for us newbies. I can’t wait to try the recipe.
Still learning about water bath canning. Thank you much for such details. God Bless you all. 🙏🏽😊
Good morning Mrs.H
I love a good tereyaki sauce. My son is soy sensitive, but loves soy sauce. The Coconut aminos may be a good substitution for him.
Mrs H you inspire me so much. I am so grateful. Would love a way to print your recipe.❤❤
I love canning….but have never tried this. Gonna have to try it.
❤lifeatthenutthouse
I believe it would be great on pork. Use it mop on the meat once it is about ready and on a slow cook
Looks delicious, I'm wondering if Stevia would work and can up ok instead of sugar for us Keto people.
OMG!!! Can't wait to put this in my pantry. WE WILL ENJOY IT SO MUCH❤❤

Definitely gonna try this Mrs H
Ms. H, did you say Clear gel. Can’t find that on azure standard.
You are awesome. Thank you for sharing
What’s the expiry period on your aminos? I need to get some of those!
Azure is the best place. I love ordering from them!
Thank you for the recipe!
Awesome!
Ohhh yes. I’m gonna do this . I will have it all written down . Thank you GODBLESS
Recipe?
Just FYI, there are 2 kinds of clear gel, one for cooking and one for not, be sure to use the one for cooking.
Can’t wait to try this
Thanks for your recipe. Great idea. Looks delicious. Over a pork tenderloin and grilled pineapple 🍍 OMG would be so good.
I truly appreciate you. I’m new to canning. Scared I’m going to hurt someone. Love your explanation on the lids.
If I half the original recipe do you know how long it would last in the fridge w/o canning it? I use a lot of this. Thanks.

It’s just a preference for me, steam canners are wonderful to have and definitely saves on water.
@@HOMESTEADHEART Thank you for letting me know.
This looks great! Can’t wait to try this ❤️
Mandarin oranges would be a good substitute for pineapple. Or stewed apples, pears, peaches. Just about any fruit.
I am allergic to coconut, so...

can you put your recipes linked to this?

Could you omit the clear gel and just thicken it once you need to use the jar?
Thanks for the recipe. Can your groceries 👍🏽

I just asked the same thing, did you find out
Looks amazing! I will have to try this! I love teriyaki!

Wait! I missed something. Where is the portions for the rice vinegar and sesame oil?
Hey!! I have been watching...still scared but im getting there
Mrs. H, Do you have a sweet & sour sauce recipe? Is the clear gel plant based?
Mrs. H, I am new to canning. I wanted to confirm if once you do the water bath, do your jars pop? If they don't pop, is it something I am doing wrong.
Mrs. H could you use crushed pineapple or must it be chunks. Can't wait to make my own Teriyaki Sauce.
Question if you it’s allergic to pineapple, could you do it with peach
I luv watching your videos I do have a question with your sauce can I use crushed pineapples instead of chunks
Yes ma’am
@@HOMESTEADHEART thank you

Yes you can
Is the pineapple canned in its own juice Or fresh?
Is this your own recipe or did you get it from a Ball Book?
Thank you for sharing.
Looks delicious 😋
Wait! Mrs. Heart, I missed the amounts of Rice Vinegar or the sesame oil portions.
Any alternative to sesame oil? My daughter is allergic to soy & sesame
Mrs h have you try making mango sauce.
I watched all your canning videos and always wondered how many mason jars you have. Lol
Is the pineapple crushed tidbits or chunks?
👍👍
What is clear gel 😊
Yummm!!!
Where did you get the recipe from?
Mason jars are so expensive that it makes getting started with canning difficult.
🙏
What is the problem when the top will not come off after boiling.?
You are a Master Canner❤ Colleen
Is water bath always 15 min?
No, different times are required depending on what you are canning. Get a good reference, such as the New Ball Canning Guide or similar book, ebook, or website.

2 thumbs up 👍👍
