    I😮t took me 3 years to find it, to replace my original, but... I finally scored an older presto canner, in beautiful condition, with the gauge, weights, tray, basket, and a new extra seal/gasket, for $10 at an estate sale. I love my All American canners, but I also loved that older Presto.. I'm sooo happy.

    I have learned so much from you. You’ve given people help, new recipe ideas, and safety instructions. I really appreciate everything you do for the canning community and I value your opinion. I do have a question though. I see a lot of people lately who are taking their pressure canners and using it as a steam canner or just purchasing a steam canner. Some people even said they no longer use a water bath canner. Anything that required water bathing they use the steam canner. However, I see you still water bath can. Is that just a personal preference or do you feel it’s not as safe to use a steam can for food preservation? Thank you again for everything you do. I really appreciate it.

  • @AlohaPrepper
    @AlohaPrepper 5 місяців тому

    Thank you! If you weren't going to use all of the coconut amino in the near future, how would you store the remainder? I also don't consume soy and use amino instead. I'm buying those little bottles and hate when I run out (plus it's expensive if I run out when it's not on sale!) so I'd love to be able to preserve it in smaller portions.

    If you are omitting the pineapple and pineapple juice could replace that with orange juice and mandarin slices so that you still get that citrus flavor? Because for some reason, my child is crazy and just doesn’t like pineapple. Second question have you not used the steam caring function of that? I love the steam bath method because it uses a lot less water.
