As the son of a Baptist (father) and an Episcopalian (mother), I had a rather mixed Christian upbringing. Baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church, I love hearing from Protestant and Catholic thinkers and clergy. Bishop Sheen is among my favorite Christian thinkers/speakers. A blessing to me!
Jesus died and was dead for 3 days , God cannot die. So therefore he cannot be God. Jesus prayed to God asking that's Gods will be done, not his own. Clearly indicating two separate people. Jesus is the first born of all creation, God was not created. Therefore Jesus cannot be God. The trinity comes from pagan teachings.

I've fumbled into this video and feel blessed, by no other but the Holy Spirit's guidance, God. This is the best explanation of the Holy Trinity that I've ever heard. Understandable and yet still a mystery as if it's clear to us human, then it's not God, like Bishop/Saint Fulton Sheen said. A beautiful, thorough examination which painted a vivid image of God's love. In Hinduism they have also developed a concept of Trinity as the sumum bonum (totality) of the Absolute Existence (we say God). They call it Bhagavan, Paramatma and Brahman. Although they are part of the same substance, and non-different from each other, they are still different as one proceeds from the other and serves different purpose. The Bhagavan is the Father, the Paramatma is the Son, and the Brahman is the Holy Spirit. They use different terminology, but the concepts are the same.

Christ has a God, his Father! We very well know that a son is not greater than his father. Christ also said, “Very truly I tell you, NO SERVANT IS GREATER THAN his master, NOR IS A MESSENGER GREATER THAN the one who sent him.” (John 13:16 NIV) Christ was sent by the Father (John 12:49 GNT). It is also written: “All that my Father has IS MINE; that is why I said that THE SPIRIT will take what I GIVE HIM and TELL it to you.” (John 16:15 GNT) The Spirit speaks and belongs to the Father and Son. The Holy Spirit was sent by Christ (John 7:39 GNT). The Holy Spirit is a minister of God hence Spirit of God (Heb 1:14). He is a servant and does what God commands. The Spirit is OF God not is God. Reread Hebrews 1 and 2. So if anyone truly believes in what Christ said then, Christ is not greater than God as the Father sent him and the Spirit is not greater than Christ as he sent him. The foolishness of the “trinity” is disproved by the very words of Christ! Who is the author and finisher of faith? The Word of God or the inventions of men? Similarly, Paul tells the congregation in Corinth for it is written: “But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God IS SUPREME OVER Christ.” (1 Cor. 11:3 GNT) “But when all things have been placed under Christ's rule, then he himself, the SON, WILL PLACE HIMSELF UNDER GOD, who placed all things under him; and God will rule completely over all.” (1 Cor. 15:28 GNT). The apostle Paul further points out this fact for it is written: “yet there is for us only ONE GOD, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only ONE LORD, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth.” (1 Cor. 8:6-7). How many beings listed? 2 not 3. The apostle John takes it even a step further by giving us a stern warning against the false trinity doctrine as well for it is written: “We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know THE TRUE GOD. We live in union WITH THE TRUE GOD-in union with his SON Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:20-21 GNT). Are you that deceived that you don’t believe in the simplicity of what Christ said? Where is the Holy Spirit included in those verses? Nowhere! Just like the word “trinity” is not found anywhere in the Bible. It simply doesn’t exist and Christ’s very words prove it. Who is the liar? This biblical truth clearly declares without room for error or ambiguity that God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are NOT CO-EQUAL. The Father and the Son are both divine-both God Beings-but fulfill very different roles. And the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God/Angel of the Lord) is not part of the Godhead. Holy angels are ministering spirits. The very description of the holy angels is found in Hebrews for it is written: "What are the ANGELS, then? They ARE SPIRITS who SERVE God and ARE SENT by Him to HELP those who are to RECEIVE SALVATION." (Hebrews 1:14) There is our “helper”/Spirit OF God and the Spirit himself says he is not to be worshiped (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9). Nowhere in the Bible does is say that the Holy Spirit is God, nowhere! Christ tells us who the Godhead is in John 17:3 (2 not 3). If Christ is truly the author and finisher of our faith, why wouldn’t anyone believe what he actually said? In John 10:30 and 17:3, Christ's very words clearly disproves the false, pagan man-made doctrine of the trinity. Paul calls this false teaching belonging to a different Jesus, gospel and spirit (2 Cor. 11:4) The question for all who read this is: Do you believe in what the Christ of the Bible said or not? For Christ simply stated: “Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (John 8:47 NIV). I will say this politely. We are simply conceptualizing God in our temporal reality. We cannot liken the nature of God to our creation. The Trinity is in some sense incomparable, but to understand it, we can look at how in the real world; one singular nature can have the multiple. One human race; many people. The principle of the Trinity is etched into reality. Also you seemed to have misunderstood What Ven Fulton Sheen is saying. Yes, we believe that Jon is not James and Peter is not Jon and Peter is not James because they are relationally different. In the Trinity, the Lord Jesus is NOT the Father. He is NOT the Holy Spirit. But all persons of the Trinity are nevertheless God. Because there is a real distinction. Nevertheless, they are of the same nature even if they are relationally different. We cannot anthropomorphize the distinction in the Trinity as they are in nature and in essence the same. Analogically, Jon and Peter and James are not the same person but all posess the same human nature. Even though they are different in person, they are the same in nature becase there can only ever be one nature of something. But just because something has one nature, it doesn’t mean necessarily that something of that nature is unipersonal. Again, ONE human nature; multiple personal. One nature; multipersonal. No where in scripture, does it say or call Yashua the one and only God. But throughout scripture, we are commanded to believe and confess (this is the importance of your salvation) to believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. Jesus was God personified, he was fully man but Fully God! To believe the teachings of the church is to believe the teachings of the apostles. Through scriptures and tradition, not the tradition of men but tradition which came from Above given to holy men of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. As the son of a Baptist (father) and an Episcopalian (mother), I had a rather mixed Christian upbringing. Baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church, I love hearing from Protestant and Catholic thinkers and clergy. Bishop Sheen is among my favorite Christian thinkers/speakers. A blessing to me!

I've fumbled into this video and feel blessed, by no other but the Holy Spirit's guidance, God. This is the best explanation of the Holy Trinity that I've ever heard. Understandable and yet still a mystery as if it's clear to us human, then it's not God, like Bishop/Saint Fulton Sheen said. A beautiful, thorough examination which painted a vivid image of God's love. In Hinduism they have also developed a concept of Trinity as the sumum bonum (totality) of the Absolute Existence (we say God). They call it Bhagavan, Paramatma and Brahman. Although they are part of the same substance, and non-different from each other, they are still different as one proceeds from the other and serves different purpose. The Bhagavan is the Father, the Paramatma is the Son, and the Brahman is the Holy Spirit. They use different terminology, but the concepts are the same.

What most don’t realize is there is a really big, deep, dark and sinister problem with anyone who calls himself a Christian (follower of Christ) and believes in the doctrine of the trinity. Trinitarians say Jesus is “CO-EQUAL with the Father and the Holy Spirit.” What many don’t know is that anyone who makes this claim or believes this teaching created by man (not God) is outright calling Christ and the Scriptures a liar. Did you catch that? Christ has a God, his Father! We very well know that a son is not greater than his father.
Christ also said, “Very truly I tell you, NO SERVANT IS GREATER THAN his master, NOR IS A MESSENGER GREATER THAN the one who sent him.” (John 13:16 NIV)
Christ was sent by the Father (John 12:49 GNT). It is also written:
“All that my Father has IS MINE; that is why I said that THE SPIRIT will take what I GIVE HIM and TELL it to you.” (John 16:15 GNT)
The Spirit speaks and belongs to the Father and Son. The Holy Spirit was sent by Christ (John 7:39 GNT). The Holy Spirit is a minister of God hence Spirit of God (Heb 1:14). He is a servant and does what God commands. The Spirit is OF God not is God. Reread Hebrews 1 and 2.
So if anyone truly believes in what Christ said then, Christ is not greater than God as the Father sent him and the Spirit is not greater than Christ as he sent him. The foolishness of the “trinity” is disproved by the very words of Christ! Who is the author and finisher of faith? The Word of God or the inventions of men?
Similarly, Paul tells the congregation in Corinth for it is written:
“But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God IS SUPREME OVER Christ.” (1 Cor. 11:3 GNT)
“But when all things have been placed under Christ's rule, then he himself, the SON, WILL PLACE HIMSELF UNDER GOD, who placed all things under him; and God will rule completely over all.” (1 Cor. 15:28 GNT).
The apostle Paul further points out this fact for it is written:
“yet there is for us only ONE GOD, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only ONE LORD, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth.” (1 Cor. 8:6-7). How many beings listed? 2 not 3.
The apostle John takes it even a step further by giving us a stern warning against the false trinity doctrine as well for it is written:
“We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know THE TRUE GOD. We live in union WITH THE TRUE GOD-in union with his SON Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:20-21 GNT). How many beings listed? 2 not 3.
All the supplied verses echo exactly what Christ said in John 17:3. So plain and simple. Are you that deceived that you don’t believe in the simplicity of what Christ said?
Where is the Holy Spirit included in those verses? Nowhere! Just like the word “trinity” is not found anywhere in the Bible. It simply doesn’t exist and Christ’s very words prove it. Who is the liar?
This biblical truth clearly declares without room for error or ambiguity that God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are NOT CO-EQUAL. The Father and the Son are both divine-both God Beings-but fulfill very different roles. And the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God/Angel of the Lord) is not part of the Godhead. Holy angels are ministering spirits. The very description of the holy angels is found in Hebrews for it is written:
"What are the ANGELS, then? They ARE SPIRITS who SERVE God and ARE SENT by Him to HELP those who are to RECEIVE SALVATION." (Hebrews 1:14)
There is our “helper”/Spirit OF God and the Spirit himself says he is not to be worshiped (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9). Nowhere in the Bible does is say that the Holy Spirit is God, nowhere!
Christ tells us who the Godhead is in John 17:3 (2 not 3). If Christ is truly the author and finisher of our faith, why wouldn’t anyone believe what he actually said? In John 10:30 and 17:3, Christ's very words clearly disproves the false, pagan man-made doctrine of the trinity. Paul calls this false teaching belonging to a different Jesus, gospel and spirit (2 Cor. 11:4)
The question for all who read this is: Do you believe in what the Christ of the Bible said or not? For Christ simply stated:
“Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (John 8:47 NIV). This is a very strong indictment by Christ for those who don't believe in what He said.

I will say this politely. We are simply conceptualizing God in our temporal reality. We cannot liken the nature of God to our creation. The Trinity is in some sense incomparable, but to understand it, we can look at how in the real world; one singular nature can have the multiple. One human race; many people. The principle of the Trinity is etched into reality. Also you seemed to have misunderstood What Ven Fulton Sheen is saying. Yes, we believe that Jon is not James and Peter is not Jon and Peter is not James because they are relationally different. In the Trinity, the Lord Jesus is NOT the Father. He is NOT the Holy Spirit. But all persons of the Trinity are nevertheless God. Because there is a real distinction. Nevertheless, they are of the same nature even if they are relationally different. We cannot anthropomorphize the distinction in the Trinity as they are in nature and in essence the same. Analogically, Jon and Peter and James are not the same person but all posess the same human nature. Even though they are different in person, they are the same in nature becase there can only ever be one nature of something. But just because something has one nature, it doesn’t mean necessarily that something of that nature is unipersonal. Again, ONE human nature; multiple personal. One nature; multipersonal. What do you think it meant anyways when God in the Genesis says “Let us make man in OUR image.” ? We reflect the nature of God; this world is triadic.

Consider a political candidate, do you desire the person or his ideology. HIs
ideology is his word/platform, hence you are actually voting for a persons
word, and not the physical being, however you cant separate the two.
Consider which came first, the chicken or the egg. The truth is, you cant

"life ability" or "all things chicken". Inside a seed is the complete "life abililty"
of a tree. The seed contains the trunk, fruit and seed, in a circular kind of

If you are talking about one person's role as husband and father, then you are confusing the roles with persons. God is One, but three Divine Persons, not three divine roles.

1) Yes when he used same. Jesus never called himself God because he did not want people just saying he was just some type of other deities that existed at the time. Jesus specifically used the title of "I AM," which is the title that God used in Exodus Chapter 3

To believe the teachings of the church is to believe the teachings of the apostles. Jesus did not write anything nor ask anyone to write anything on his behalf. He formed a church, trained it for his mission, infused it with his Holy Spirit and sent it on a mission to the world, promising that he will be with it until the end of time. Unfortunately the verse quoted by you Mt 28:18 has been forged by the catholic church in an attempt to give the trinity a biblical basis. The correct wording is "With one word and voice He said to His disciples: "Go, and make disciples of all the nations IN MY NAME,"

The trinity is completely false.
1. Jesus was dead for 3 days. Later resurrected. God cannot die. Therefore he cannot be God. You also can't resurrect yourself, as the dead are concious of nothing according to Ecclesiastes 9:5.
2. God has a name, Psalms 83:18. Yaweh or Jehovah in english. If Jesus was God, then there would be no need for God to have a name.
3. Jesus said " only the father is good" if he were God, he would have openly admitted that he was good. But he did not.
4. Jesus was asked by the mother of two of the apostles to decide who would be on his left and right in heaven . Jesus said that he did not have the authority to make that decision. If Jesus were God, he would have naturally had the authority to make any decisions.
