Faders that cut in both sides are amazing for scratching with friends that scratch hamster. And I think this channel was the first place I saw "that" scratch.
want to give a huge thank you to Swiftstyle for the review ... I hope you enjoy cutting with the 1.2.4-C Pulse Fader . It truly is a unique non-contact fader unlike anything else in the Portablist market...
During my Order,CJ told Me that this is ALSO a CONTACTLESS/MAGNETIC FADER- One shouldn't Need a Degree in Electronics to Install a Better Fader- Freddy Forgot to Mention This'- GREAT REVIEW FREDDY,as ALWAYS-Keep Em' Coming- 1L
That throw man :/ its a great idea for a fader and crazy easy to instal and i love the light but again the throw is not enough. And go with the JDDPTA tone arm. Great video btw :D love and support bro keep them coming
I have had a few people share their thoughts about the shorter throw thinking it would be somewhat of a hindrance but after scratching with the 1.2.4-C PULSE they fall in love with it. With a shorter throw your fader movements become more precise and responsive .
@@CJScratch mby youre right Cj i cant say that you are wrong cz i have not tryed it. I am used to biger throw and thats why i have a fader on mine, in the end its a great product its crazy easy to instal and it helps the portable scene. RESPECT
Ive done my pt with a jesse dean fader and pcb toen arm infiniry plater battery mod from bihari ultra pitch and my own blue led stop star arcade button that lights up and a m447 shes tight but im sure youll make yours tight too
I actually prefer the 2-side cut because for whatever reason I've never been able to do chirps with a "regular" fader, only with it hamster style, so a PT01 w/ the Jesse Dean contactless is the only way I can chirp while also doing "regular" scratching!
@@Swiftstyle I played guitar before getting into cutting, so really tight control is something that came naturally from running scales. When all 6 strings are in an area a touch over 2", you have to get really tight with your picking hand!
Holy, Smokie! The time (or lack of) it takes to swap is incredible. Surprised others didn’t think of that first. 🤔 Do you know if the other faders that require a bit more tech work (removing capacitor, etc) have any technical advantages over a fader like this as far as sound/cut-in/etc.?
It's more personal preference than anything else. If you want better sound get a pre amp and a better needle. There are other mods to upgrade the speaker.
THE 1.2.4-C Pulse is truly a unique fader unlike others on the market .... it is so easy to install and the fact there is no other modifications or removal of internal parts is a plus.. the cut is super sharp and its position is fully adjustable to your cut preference .
@@CJScratch im specifically referencing you being in the mod group, Matt Smith and Focus creative this fader, including the lights. I don't think so @scupakus, due PT 01 USB, doesn't has the cables, and its kinda a different board on it... PT 01 USB is just compatible with 3.5mm or RCA cables... you might get a Raiden Fader RXI-F2 or just another one...
Don't knock it. It's a hidden weapon when used by the right people. I can't believe that someone of ur mind would say that, i was truley blown away. Your usually a very individualized slick SCRATCHer too, what's up, were u just not feeling the fader; was it uncomfortable, or were u just not feeling the groove at that moment ? No disrespect Swift. I just realized I cut out the part where I said "it could probably be cool in a combo but I normally just here people trying to imitate a sound". Not knocking it, just haven't heard it used for anything other than a crazy madness scratch. It's cool but definitely a novelty.

Great work CJ. Its amazing to have such a simple solution. What would happen if this was installed on PT01 with the capacitor removed?
@@LiamDNicoll It will still work .... mojaxx did a review with the pulse fader his portable had the capacitor removed and worked fine..
i would recommend reinstalling the cap but it should work fine ..
is it still avaliable cant find on internet
Looks good! You def have to install the new Jesse Dean JDDPTA tone arm. I'm thinking the red one to match the fader

It lights up when the signal is off? That sounds like a design flaw of considerable magnitude.

Swiftstyle, you should do a review on the Raiden RPM-100???

Peace Bro!
seems marginally better than the stock on/off switch?
When you say "this factory needle is just eating up this wax" does that mean it's damaging the wax?
Yes, these needles where never intended for scratching.

@4:13 ditto! Great to know.
Nice new X-fader review! You mentioned you don't like the portablist fader to cut on both sides, but the Jesse Dean one cuts on both sides.
You can add an o ring to stop that. I mainly just don't care for the scratch people try and do with it.
