Like @ekubik1 said, mini Innofader Plus S. It’s a solderable version. They work the same as the regular minis but have pins for connectivity instead of a plug connector.
its sad that pioneer cut corners on this mixer and used regular alpha faders ... for the cost of this mixer they should have used the same internals as the S9 .. this modification is not for a novice it requires experience ...
They had a slight revision that allows you to screw the faders but i do think that the mixer could have benefited from s9 or s11 style line faders. At least we have a an alternative in case the original ones go out.
That’s a good question, I’ll do some digging and get back to you on it. If it also requires soldering, the only thing that may need to change would be the position of the jumpers. If you send me some picture of the inside of one maybe I could tell you. Could be another future tutorial. 🤔
I do wish it was more plug and play but that’s why we brought the video to everyone. Maybe this will incentivize manufacturers to make a simpler solution to repairing/modifying their gear. Thank you for watching.
@@TURK_182 you can get to -50% which allows you cut on ultra pitch records that are recorded speed up so less space for each sound. Less movement of your hand jumping between samples
Thank you for the heads up. If we end up using his mod then we’ll be sure work with him to ensure our installation is done properly. We’ll be talking about availability of his mod, chip shortages may have affected his production but hopefully things have been sorted out so many years later.
So beautifully shot and edited! Hope more DJs appreciate the effort you put into these top quality videos. Video is as sharp as your cutting!
That‘s really helpfull. Thank you so much!
Tale as old as time. Modifying bullshit that the manufacturers cheaped out on. Dope video.
the mini inno is really a better fader than the Magvel? I have a mini in my PMC 08 and it honestly dont feel great its p stiff
Yeah bro a true master at work.
Especially at the end
that's dope Straps!
Is it the regular mini innofader or the mini innofader plus? Thank you for this I was thinking about selling my S7 before the line faders broke!!!!!

Nice... This should work on the Rane One right?

@@la_straps Thank you! 👑
Compare this to inside a Rane and how easy they made access on the Rane mixers. This is pretty appalling to work on.

Heactic
next should be ultrapitch mod for 1200s
What's ultrapitch do?

Those could be some more videos for us to make, maybe an explanation of ultra pitch and then showing you how to add it to your 1200.
@@la_straps gotta do it the safe way tho. I tried backtrack's mods and had to replace the main boards after things went south
