Thank you! Required notching and cutting some plastic inside the housing for the fader and bracket to fit in the only orientation possible for the mini innofader pro. Not sure if there is a newer bracket that’s completely flat but that’s what i received.
Nice, but, the Jesse Dean contactless fader is the way to go. You can adjust everything without having to remove the actual fader. Jesse's killin' it right now. His fader cost less than half the price of the innofader plus/housing combined.
Jesse makes amazing products... and he's super invested in the portablist culture. Innofader users requested ways to install their favorite fader in a Pt01. Yes it is more expensive...but its different technology and you are buying a fader that can be used in most any device with a replaceable fader. There is so much room to mod and personalize...the market is ever expanding. Shouts to JDD!
I know it wasn't meant to be a comparison, I was just saying, that in my humble opinion, Jesse Deans JDDX2RS A fader, is by far, the best fader you can get for the PT01. Really easy install, and no need to ever open the PT01 to tweek settings/configs. I've got the Innofader Plus, and I can not recommend it over the JDDX2RS A, because the JDDX2RS A is just as smooth as the Innofader Plus is, and it's half the price of a Innofader. If you've got a defective mixer with a Innofader Plus as the crossfader, then it would definitely make sense to buy the oem looking innofader housing for your PT01 and use your old innofader Plus. That's the only scenario I can see making sense in regards to buying this combo (Innofader Plus + Housing) over the JDDX2RS A.
Hey swifty???what up kidd.hey I built me 2 pt 01 scratch.i was hanging out with Jesse Dean And Jim down at their shop.My pt01 came out awesome.we fried some shit but the man Jesse schooled me how to revive my burned record player. So if u find any burned pick them up.I put the flat arm with the light. Then the stop start button. Then a target light.Jim modified my pre amps so the factory speaker sounds LOUD.It will be distorted if u go full.but it's wicked.I also bought the aluminum platters. Not cheap. But Jesse gave me a smoking Deal since I drove 1hr and half. And all my gas cost me.He felt the pinch. And bad for me.So I got lucky. My pt 01 have everyrhing.i even got some practice yo cuts records.and I had alot of them when I bought the 2 numarks.I got a coffin included.so I can post up any were.I got the Raiden portable mixer.Size of my palm I got it all.Swifty U motivated me to get this set up.Thanks for the video.Babus school is 4 blocks away from me.BUT still closed because of this covid shit.I could beat match do title jiggling but I need to practice my cuts man.i got some going on.Thanks bro.Il be at name in june.Maybe we get to play around. Thanks for.the motivation and THANK U JESSE DEAN FOR EVERYRHING AND HIS GOOD WORKERS.JIM ALSO
i installed this innofader into my djm250mk2....you need be sure to buy the latest updated version of this mini innofader which has a red stick on the top right corner of the box....i found the calibration really difficult to get it right...had to reset several times
I tried to install the mini innofader pro with the reck IF30. The reck bracket doesn’t align with the screw holes on the casing. Any videos to demonstrate how to fit this?
Hey ...love your vids.....if you have installed a Jesse Dean fader in PT01 scratch and cut off the capacitor, will this effect being able to install one of these bad boys? Thanks
@@Swiftstyle understood...i'm sure both are great faders...personal preference i guess....JD seems sweet and a great price...unfortunately neither will greatly improve my cuts....only practice and perseverance will do that.....great channel by the way...
this is dope ..but looks to be awkward for people who have left hand on the fader .... so i might go with RECK FH45° - question for that do you know if the pt01 cover can still close with these?
I have an old version of the Reck FH and the cover closes fine. I would assume the FH45 would allow closing too, though you may be limited by angle (IE, 45 degrees only).
I checked Reck LA's product page. In the description, it mentions that it can be rotated for mounting. On his Instagram, it also shows it rotated 45 degrees. Do you see that it could be rotated 45 degrees if we cut out the screw post inside?
@swiftstyle is their any way to add a fader internally to a pt01 usb ...since the scratch has a panel that’s why you can switch the fader to just plug n play ...thanks
In your opinion what is the best fader for the PT01 scratch? I want to upgrade the scratch switch in mine but live in the UK and haven't tried any of the aftermarket ones.
Innofader says on their Facebook page that the fader can angled 30 degrees without removing any plastic, and more if you remove the plastic bit inside the pt01...is this not true? Great video as always 👍🏻
Yes. You can turn it to be virtually diagonal...and if you remove the plastic support to the right of the scratch switch hole you can actually spin it all the way around.
Swiftstyle Thanks for replying! This is reassuring as I was leaning more towards the Innofader. I love the fact that you can calibrate the fader in more than one way.
I installed mine today but after a few seconds of cutting fine it kinda pops and the audio goes down and it buzzes loads. Someone said it may be to do with power? Namely the relay from my start stop button maybe being rigged to 9v? Did you not have this problem with yours Freddy? I’m so confused and dying to get it working properly
Hi! I'm planning to upgrade from JDDX2RS Fader to this Inno version. As you know I had to remove capacitor at JDDX2RS installation. Is this can be problem to set innofader mini properly? Thanks.
I wish I would have bought the Dj Handy Cutz instead of fooling around with this install. The Install for me was a terrible experience. My eye and hand coordination is not good as I thought..
I want to get this deck and make a table for my wheelchair so I can scratch when I'm outside 😁

i have it, it is really great. perfect for the pto
This is not meant to be a comparison video just another option that's hitting the market.
yes, and it is great that more stuff is coming out for the the unit. and I like the fact that some of it is dummy proof for people like me, lol

That looks sick. Gamechanger. I was looking forward to you cutting it up at the end. Hopefully we get to see a follow up session with the fader.
Yup, next vid dropping
Thank you for the tutorial, greatly appreciated!
One thing that threw me on this fader was the test switch. Once I found it ... smooth sailing.
Badass bro but im staying with my JDD pt01 scratch fader. Thx
S**t, that's nice. I think that line just sold me.
Haha yea got me yo dude
That click though lol. Reminds me of the old Vestax days.

Yes mini inno plus.. definitely a different model
What tone arm is that?
so what do you do when your innofader is not working and completely not responding like mine?
This just gave me an idea for an even better invention! I need a technical engineer!

No problem, this turntable had the Jesse dean and pulled capacitor.

You can rotate it diagonally so lefties can control the fader.

Pretty sure if you cut some you came move it. I'm explaining for the less experienced. But chop that junk up!
Yes...you are absolutely right.
deeedog you can rotate it to 30 degrees with no modding of the casing, hence the name reck 30

If you can get a innofader in there that’s your best bet.
@@Swiftstyle thank you, thats what i'll do
I have already removed the capacitor, it may not work anymore?
is it easy to switch crossfader postion left o be off right to be on?
Yes, you can easily change your left right cut ins separately and precisely. Illustrated instructions are included with the mini innofader plus
Which do you prefer? Jesse Dean or Innofader?
Inno. Plug and play

Not having any issues on my end. That does sound like and power problem imo.
Am I seeing things or is Reck IF-30 only $35.00 from the Innofader website?
That's just the adapter. You will need a fader to go with it
Swiftstyle Haha Yea now I get it. Damn I may go with the FH45 housing and the pro PT fader. I’ll peep your video about that. Thanks again bro.
I’m not a mod guy can I buy already built or can I send mine some where to get the mods🤔
This is crazy easy..but hit up OpenFormat.la they got you covered!
Right no welding lol all Plugg in💪🏾
Dope !

This unit had the capacitor cut as well. No problems!
Nice! But what about hamster? You just need to flip it on the other side when putting this fader inside?
It cuts on both sides
