This song has a huge place in my heart. I remember getting out of the water surfing in Ventura California, and walking to the truck where my wife was sitting in the back of the bed Sun tanning. I took my wetsuit off and hopped in laying in the back of that truck watching the surf when the song came on. The sun was getting close to setting. Something about this song and the timing of it couldn't have been any better. Laying there in the late sunlight, next to my beautiful wife with my arm around her just looking at the waves. One of those moments that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Love it.

This song was released on 'Days of Future Passed' in 1968-1969, but received airplay it seems ever since. I worked for a metro NYC AM station that was popular, and we were playing it in rotation as both a 45 (shorter version) and on the album back in 1972. It has remained popular and still sells CDs (dare I say LPs?) even today! Mark Shannon

Days of Future Passed was a timeless, groundbreaking album. From 1967 on the Decca label, it was the first true stereo album and no other group or artist from the time could have been better for it than the Moody Blues. It is depressing to think that this came out 55 years ago because it makes me feel old for remembering hearing it for the first time. A new genre of music that would become known as progressive rock, among other names. I fell in love with the Moody Blues when I heard this and my love of their music is as great today as it was then. It is nice to see new generations discovering and appreciating their work. The joy and awe of the Moody Blues will continue for generations to come.

This song brings back so many memories, Morenkeiji as I grew up in that 1960s era. I might have said so before in the comments' section of another vid on your channel, but I'll repeat it again. I simply love the fact that you usually let a song play through entirely without stopping so many times to immediately give your reaction, unnecessarily interrupting the flow of the song. Other channel owners doing the same thing that you do Morenkeiji I find so annoying to watch as they constantly pause the song every minute or so as, for some reason, they just cant wait until the entire song has completed before providing their comments. Frankly, I find your channel the best! Please don't stop what you're doing, and how you go about filming your vids. Other channel owners can learn from you as your subscriber list says it all!

I first heard Justin"s voice on a car radio in the late 60s. The song was Tuesday Afternoon. I knew
immediately this was a music style I wanted more of. Years later I was in England (my parents home)
and I traveled down to Cobham to see where the Moodies lived. Magical place much like their music.
Eventually I had the privilege of meeting Justin and the rest of the band. An exceptional group of men
that produced music that is timeless and soothing to the Soul. Happy to see this young lady's reaction
to this wonderful and ever unique melody that crosses time from so long ago.
