He is 80 now and still sounds as good. He is a judge on the UK's version of he Voice and he sang this song with the son of Lonnie Donegan who wrote the song.
such an awesome reaction -simply beautiful... although this young lady is very pretty, to be affected by the gut wrenching beauty of Tom Jones says a lot about her heart
Your reaction is proof positive that Tom did it right! That's how a sad song is supposed to make you react if the singer projects their feelings into the music. Tom Jones is a true artist and still performs. He was a judge on The Voice UK and sang on the show. He also has made music videos in the last decade such as the songs Burning Hell and Tower Of Song. Tom recently celebrated his 80th birthday!
I completely understand the emotions you felt listening to him sing. Karen Carpenter has the same effect on me. My heart was broken when Karen died. I grew up with this kind of music. I graduated in 1977 which was the year Elvis died, which was another hard one to take.
He still singin' (yes singin' and not singing.) today and works as a coach on The Voice UK. Still sounds amazing. He sings on there occasionally. You let Tom and the words take you where your emotions want to go. Some times it's sad, but that is what makes music so special. Can hurt like knife or hold you like a mother's hug. Great reaction.

The thing about this song that gets such powerful reactions, aside from his stellar vocal ability, is that for women it is exactly how every woman wishes a man would feel when she breaks his heart. Not that women want to...but this is how deeply a woman wishes a man feels about her... And for guys...every guy can relate to this sort of heartbreak. At least every guy who has ever fallen in love. Who hasn't had a broken heart? Just about everyone!
dont worry sweetie, Tom Jones has absolute magical powers to many, many many Ladies...it cant be helped, you cant stop it,..you can only hope to contain it........He is that man.

My mum loved Tom Jones ( she was also Welsh) I had heard him over the yrs, but never heard this song. Damn, I sat and teared up, Tom really is the real deal.
Why are there no more singers like this...modern music really has nothing on the quality of yesteryear.
He is 80 now and still sounds as good. He is a judge on the UK's version of he Voice and he sang this song with the son of Lonnie Donegan who wrote the song.
Lonnie donegan released it in the early 60s
I watched that. Amazing
Yes when I heard him on the voice he belted out singing that's when I knew what the big deal was he's brilliant.
such an awesome reaction -simply beautiful... although this young lady is very pretty, to be affected by the gut wrenching beauty of Tom Jones says a lot about her heart
Legends live forever, look at Elvis and buddy,Tom is one of the kings. Glad you are young and enjoy real music/ emotions.big ❤️
Loving your natural beauty, accent, smile and your emotions towards the song. You rock!!!
The one and only Mr Tom Jones. They don't come any better Lady!
You should do a reaction to Tom Jones singing "Kiss" by Prince
Your reaction is proof positive that Tom did it right! That's how a sad song is supposed to make you react if the singer projects their feelings into the music. Tom Jones is a true artist and still performs. He was a judge on The Voice UK and sang on the show. He also has made music videos in the last decade such as the songs Burning Hell and Tower Of Song. Tom recently celebrated his 80th birthday!
Aww, a living legend!👑
Bless her heart that triggered something inside of her. One can tell the very moment he took you over. Don’t feel bad he takes them all over.
God bless you girl. I heard this song 50 years ago and I had the same reaction. And I'm a dude!
Sir Tom has been making people cry for over 50years,🇨🇦😄
He is now 80 yrs old and can STILL belt out a song!
He is as fine now as he was then. Love his voice.... Still sings as great as he did then. ❤❤❤❤❤
I grew up hearing his vinyl records and singing his songs... and he looked so good on the screen!
Whew! Girl you were struggling through the song!
Man Tom has a set of pipes!
Consider "Treat her Right" if you haven't already.
I completely understand the emotions you felt listening to him sing. Karen Carpenter has the same effect on me. My heart was broken when Karen died. I grew up with this kind of music. I graduated in 1977 which was the year Elvis died, which was another hard one to take.
Born on the day he died
He still singin' (yes singin' and not singing.) today and works as a coach on The Voice UK.
Still sounds amazing. He sings on there occasionally.
You let Tom and the words take you where your emotions want to go. Some times it's sad, but that
is what makes music so special. Can hurt like knife or hold you like a mother's hug. Great reaction.
When a song makes you feel some thing, it has succeeded.
I can feel it in my chest. It hurts to fall in love. How true
By the way you can check the Gino Vanelli song Hurts To Be In Love
Beautiful little, DARLING ANGEL BABY, adorable girl ❤❤😮so you are discovering TOM JONES..
Dont cry...this is only a wonderful song ..from my epoca..you are sensible..little DARLING..we love you..❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should listen to another song of TOM../__Wich title is..""I WONT CRUMBLE""
That is a Voice from the Welsh Valleys. Just pure power..
Yes, that is such factor. Tom Jones from Wales, UK.
When I first heard this song about 3 years, or so, ago, I played it at least 10 times back to back. I reacted just as you did (well, almost). I love it! It's my 'go to' song. Thanks for sharing.
No voice on earth can match his today I have no words of the feelings I get when I listen to him sing for years he's been one of my fav's.
Eres la persona que más bonito llora de emoción que he visto en mi vida 😘
Ladies & gentlemen, that’s what you call charisma.
My mom used to yell at me if I said ANYTHING shut up! Tome Jones is singing.

This young biddie is funny as hell. Love when youngins finally get to here the music we grew up on.
Can we just listen to music all day and feel this way everyday!? Music is so moving, and watching it move you is beautiful unequivocally 💓
Sorry you've been hurt too and music reminds you of it. Me too!
That's a classic.. real song, real artist, and most importantly real emotions from singer. There's no real music like that anymore.
There's no pain like a broken heart but i think Oscar Wilde said, " It is far better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all".
Which didn't help me at the time but i can look back now and be grateful for the time spent with that lady.
Keep playing the music hon. Xxx
