+Ryan Minielly The field over all was ready at 13% moisture. Unfortunately due to a wet summer two weed applications were not effective and the low spots in the field still had some green in them. This field was the only one like it in a group of fields being harvested. The combines were 20 miles from the bins and this was the last field in that area. It was either lose on cutting some green spots when the rest of the field was good or waste time and fuel to come back for one field. The field was averaging 100 bu. and waiting any more time would also see the majority of the crop staring to pop out of the pods.
I noticed that, too. Thought it was a bunch of unripe plants, but then noticed it was sprayed weeds that still had the color, but still, for the low moisture, the beans do look unusually green, when the combines unloaded.

Is it to early to combine soybeans they like a little green. I know that stocks are brown but beans like green
You know they are still to green when you have to shake the combine lol
My goodness were they cutting beans or weeds? I mean seriously you could even see the color of the weeds in the beans coming out the auger lol
