Backstory: This is a compilation of some of the most epic and ridiculous Dragon Install moments I've ever pulled off in online matches over the course of 10 months playing. I've never been a fighting game guy before, but this game turned me into one, and Sol Badguy and his Dragon Install are what kept me around to this day. The name "Yolo Sol" came from another player after he realized my reckless style of play, and I found the name kinda funny so I just decided to put it in the title lol. If you guys like this video, stay tuned, as I'm planing to post a lot more matches in the near future.

Question, does this work for grapplers too? My friend told me to just drink the glue but I'm not really sure about it

There are two ways of playing Sol Badguy.
The optimal way, with dustloops and avoiding DI
And the *fun* way

Well DI has been used at high levels and worked since it grants sol more plus frames and shreds health like crazy.
I've used DI against players who 100% better than me. I yolo'd my way victory. I went against a milla for the first time and beat her. The player was better than me but i still won with DI volcanic viper and immediately fishing for chip damage using tyrant rave. I actually won multiple matches using specific chip damage off DI tyrant rave.

That final spastic mashing followed by "SURPRISE! BITCH!" was one of the best Guilty Gear clips I've seen xD

That DI slide > RC to dust > air combo ending in viper was actually galaxy brain, good stuff

Spicy elaborate combos mixed in with shit like 5 gunflames in a row, and looping corner bandit bringers? Is this that Emergent gameplay I keep hearing so many people fuss about as of late?

i really wish they did something similar with ky but instead they gave him dragon meter uninstall.

That ground viper rc into dust is genius. I'm gonna use that on my friend who blocks all my ground vipers.
Just remember to do a micro dash before the dust, or else it may not reach your friend.

That was inciting fear into the hearts of his opponent, a valid strategy
Forcing his opponent to take chip damage or burn meter to prevent it. DI Gunflame is plus on block so he was spamming it. Tyrant Rave at the moment where he knew meter was too and chip would kill. Can't hit rank 1 without shit like this becoming instinct. Probably why he downplayed what he did here.
