Ky is very fundamentally solid by virtue of having no crippling weaknesses and just having a good or decently good set of all traits he could want from what I have seen, and that gets you pretty far sometimes
@GhostlyMorpher ky is the closest thing to a shoto in the cast, very solid tools for dealing with just about everything. Fireball, DP, and a nasty poke game

Roman cancel and wild assault scale the damage of any other moves really high. It feel rlly bad if u were at 50%, your opponent mashed and rc’d to get out and you just died for it

6:24 Why did a raw Joker Trick do 40%? Am I just used to seeing its dmg scaled in combos and this is actually the baseline? (edit: ofc there's the wb dmg but it's still so much)
Yea, it does a lot of damage it's just usually scaled a lot, it also had bonus dmg since it was counter-hit. 5k > 6k > Ensenga > Jokers Trick always surprises me with it's damage
In terms of base damage, Joker Trick deals just 10 less damage compared to That's My Name!
Joker Trick is a really important part of Johnny's toolkit, IMO. Since Johnny doesn't have a run or dashblock, he doesn't have any safe ways to approach fullscreen zoning with projectiles. But as we saw here, if he has the meter and makes a read on a fireball, he can threaten a huge hit from fullscreen; that's something his opponents have to respect.
