@@LucidButtonMasher hey man. How likely is it, that the post war administration that created robo-ky would also create robo-sol since hes now a public hero like ky was after the war? If so, how likely is it going to be that something like order-sol is going to come out of it?
Fun fact is that Order-Sol debuted (along with introducing ABA from Isuka into the mainline games) in the Japan-only Guilty Gear XX Slash, which basically was a near-travesty in balance changes (Ky and Anji were notoriously top tier and Eddie/Zato coming from #Reload were nerfed). However, Slash introduced half of the stuff carried over into vanilla Accent Core.
It's funny how Ex Order-Sol is just GG1 Sol except without the charge mechanic, a mechanic that normal Order-Sol has. On a minor note, Accent Core's EX Order-Sol has all of Sol's normals except for one: he still has his f.S. That f.S was actually added in Accent Core, replacing his old f.S in Slash, which was his Fafnir punch (the FB Fafnir was also added in AC). Slash's EX Order-Sol had Sol's f.S, so I'm guessing that whoever coded in his new f.S for Accent Core accidentally replaced EX mode's version as well. Another mistake they made with f.S is with its hit effects. In GG, there are two visual and sound effects that play when you attack someone: one for moves that are physical moves, such as punches and kicks; and one used for sharp objects, like swords and such. As stated before, Order-Sol's f.S in Slash was his Fafnir punch from GGX and GGX2, so when he hits someone with it, it plays the punch sound and visual effect. They replaced it in Accent Core to have Order-Sol attack with his sword, but they forgot to change what type of hit effect plays. So if you hit an opponent with Order-Sol's c.S, 5H, 6H, 2H, etc., it plays the normal weapon hit effect, but hit someone with his f.S, it plays the melee hit effect. It's a very minor thing, but once I noticed it, I was never able to unsee/unhear it.
Damn, I knew of the punch animation replacement, but I didn't think of such an oversight by the devs for that new f.5S lol Then again, Zappa in his Accent Core artwork has six fingers on one hand lol

Is being able to use D versions of specials specifically a HoS thing? Cause I have zero memory of that being a feature in any of the 2D GG titles I've played...
D as in force breaks?
@@LucidButtonMasher So, I just looked it up - I didn't realise that the Force Break mechanic wasn't introduced until AC, which I haven't actually had the chance to play. So that makes sense as to why I didn't get it.
So! You're all done! What's next?
Probly back to funny monkey slayer videos of nonsense happening in online matches
I feel like we're missing a few, did some just not get EX variants?
Kliff and justice don't have em
@@LucidButtonMasher that's very strange
Not exactly sure why either
GET DOWN, GET DOWN
GET DOWN
GET DOWN
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Sol kinda do that instant kill in Xrd? He just doesnt pass through instead and isnt like Sol's giant knee.
Nah he revs up good sword and slams it into them with a big explosion
Forever a “Kyo” Clone, am I right?
I love it when devs add in a “classic” version of a character when they have their moveset changed. (Kusanagi, Devil Jin)
Hell, I can see Order-Sol being added in Strive in this manner (in a ~10% chance).
Drastically changed if they did
@@LucidButtonMasher Between Jack-O, Baiken & Testament, a prayer’s gonna be needed to see legacy characters keep an old move or two going forward.
But then again, these are the more “tricky” ones of the cast, so who knows?
Tricky since they could change them so drastically
Or Young Link in Smash Ultimate
IF THERE IS A CHARACTER BESIDES TESTAMENT THAT I WILL CONSTANTLY USE ROMAN CANCELS ITS EX ORDER SOL AND GODDAMN EX ORDER SOL GOT ME THROUGH ALL OF SURVIVAL MODE 🤖🤖🤖⁉️⁉️⁉️🔥🔥🔥
Hell yeah
Wait, Cliff or Justice doesn't have an EX version?
They sure don't
Wait a minute, does that mean that there is no EX Kliff and Justice?
Indeed
Looks like the developers couldn't find a way to make them stronger than they already are.
Or at least different
Are the EX characters a thing for all of them? Do you have to unlock them, and does it generally change their rankings in a tier list (I.E. one version is noticeably better or worse than the other)? I'm interested
Oh wait I see in the description now
I am dumb of ass
Nah its cool, most people refuse to read lol. Yeah there pretty cool, check out the others
@@LucidButtonMasher Oh I have been! Potemkin EX looks like a very fun time :D
The thing is I watched it on mobile so only the first part showed up in the description
I already really wanted to get this game but the intrigue of ex characters really does it
Biggest mistake of this video is using Nakata Joji as HOS' voice actor (no I am kidding, do as you please lol).
Joji just has this noble accent to his voice I can't reconcile with Sol's character.
I started with xrd so his gruff deep bellows fill my soul. I got some shit for this in my "best voice actors in fighting games" vids too. But god damn he hits that "TY-RANT-RAVE!" so well
@@LucidButtonMasher Oh hell yeah Joji is definitely an amazing voice actor and I've loved to hear his roles ever since I read the fan translation of Fate/Stay Night back in the day.
I'm just used to Daisuke. And when I hear Joji as I said he's got this dignified maybe even noble accent in his voice. While Daisuke sounds more gruff and coarse.
I can kinda see what you mean both ways
Are these all the same in the old version (ggxxac)
I imagine so. I dunno though honestly
Is that a skullgirls reference in the title?
Sure is
@@LucidButtonMasher LETS GOOO
Good pick
What about kliff and justice
Sadly, they don't have EX versions.
@@dariogonzalez8989 DAMMIT ARC SYS
Someone commented a long time ago about some kind of glitch with team mode and ex justice and kliff being selectable but now i can't find it
@@LucidButtonMasher quite intresting
Bro can we like have order Sol for the dlc
Ok I'll allow it
The EX characters are interesting, i doubth but i hope they will become legal in some EX tournament
They've done an ex tournament before! Super cool!
@@LucidButtonMasher Really? wanna check out
For sure.
He reminds me of how sol plays in missing link but even more cracked lol
Exactly
Basically EX Order Sol is GG1 Sol since he's got stuff like the dashing P or dash K specials, GG1 Instant Kill and...well its not the same Tyrant Rave as GG1's super bullshit jankmaster flame spiral Tyrant Rave but its something.
He shoulda just played exactly like Missing Link Sol. Every last bit of jank and I don't even care. That game was the game in the Guilty Gear series. Even if it means Sol'd get charge cancel infinites. Closest we can get is using GG Generations.
Lol it would be fun to see
@@LucidButtonMasher Pretty sure EXes are largely banned in most tournaments and on ranked anyway, and they've not been seen since this game. Might as well just go the whole hog.
That's what i mean just let him go crazy. Ban if need be nbd
Wait is there not a ex big sword dwarf?
Unfortunately no
:(
Still great job on the series though
Lol ty bud
I just want HOS in Strive because then I'd have two characters to play
Who's the second
Ah yes, #RELOAD Sol on crack
True though
Time for shadow and gold n all that
Probly not for awhile. Back to regularly scheduled programming
@@LucidButtonMasher understood, will be anticipated
Hell yeah
🧁+🍦/10
Great video. Needs more fat shaming Holy Order Sol.
Lol what
gib order sol for streev
Streev it is
destroyed.
Same
Projectiles are bullshit
-Sol Tsu.
Fair, which is why he's got a fast one now
Ex modes suck, they just break the characters but atleast its a funny video xD
They're fun to fuck around with for sure
@@LucidButtonMasher yeah I can get that but really though, Tourneys dont allow ex modes for a reason. Also HOS has a lotta funny things going on with him without the ex mode...im sure I already mentioned "quick charge" already
is there no EX justice? i swear I remember u making a video on it but I can't find it
Nope, neither her nor kliff
