Rumors said that the voice direction wasn't particularly good. Plus, while most of the English cast are fans of guilty gear, it's their first time voicing the characters, lacking the experience and tone that should be used. Other are less known actors, David Forseth to name one.
Thankfully, in strive eng dub Sol sounds properly pissed when he does tyrant rave.

The original used the sword as a slash and the modern sword is built for goofy grip, but theres a weird part in the middle where he just smacks you in the face with his hilt

@@helltubejackie1086 Sol holds his sword the way Freddie Mercury used to hold his microphone stands, which is kinda weird when using a bladed weapon.
@@Levitz9 yeah, reverse grip is weird but its commonly known that sol likes fighting with his fists and it makes sense that he holds it in a way where he can punch effectively and slash at once.
I didn't even realized until now that his Fafnir animation was recycled from his first Tyrant Rave from Guilty Gear X
Hence why Fafnir follows up into Tyrant Rave in AC/AC+R
Sickest super in all fighting games, he just punching fireball in badass way possible
Kind of wish he had a fusion of that gun blast motion he does in the first few and the big wind up punch he's got now. With more impact of the flame explosion then his Order Sol version.
I don't know what it is about this move that i love so much. Maybe it's the motion input. Maybe it's the animation. Maybe it's the way sol winds his arm back in the Xrd series. Maybe it's damaged and simplicity. I don't know what it is but this move is just so awesome
I swear, Tyrant Rave is the coolest fucking super ever.
The name alone is awesome, and then the move itself is a big "fuck you" fire punch.

Order Sol's Fafnir on steroids is one of the most beautiful overdrives in the entire series for me
For me, the best Tyrant Raves all belong to Order-Sol. However, DI Tyrant Rave from Xrd is insane.
I wish they kept the Fafnir into Tyrant Rave that only took 25 meter.
I love how powerful Tyrant Rave always feels, it's like you see this fucking BEHEMOTH you've seen pummel enemies to death just wind up a punch, screaming an attack name before he proceeds to incinerate them with his fist. I don't care who you are, that's metal as FUCK

Best version is xx+r straight to the point, fast, the pose the anticipation and the huge fire explosion. Close second alpha and the DI version from xrd, are way cooler but also a bit too much for a regular super so it makes sense for them to be special
