Are you sure it’s not because the 4-2 gauge from the alternator to the starter is not failed with and open or a load. Possibly the fuse in the line has blown. That’s another problem I have seen with these. If the alternator to stud is 30ish volts and the battery pos + stud post is lower then 12v. The fuse is toasted. Check that first before you change a computer. The fuse in your picture shows it they will fault to a load when I go out and cause this. It’s a cheaper check before replacing the computer.

I had that problem last year and the pressed on alternator pulley was spinning around the alternator shaft
