New Zealand🇳🇿-- A noble little UK.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Haha. Yes, so noble 😍
Love the public piano.
Isn't it so cool 🤗😁
Auckland New Zealand is on my travel list. I will need to save up a lot for this trip. Auckland has beautiful buildings (train station, theater, town hall, etc...). Thank you for sharing the YHA hostel, it is a good price. Mandy's and Lee's food looks good! Mandy's soup was piping hot (I like that).😋 Thank you for sharing Queens Court Food Court. The food is much more expensive than in Thailand. Chilli is good for the heart. 🙂😋 I love the library! Thank you for sharing the tips and places to see. ❤
We are so happy that you enjoyed this video, Sue. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, and the tip about chilli being good for the heart 🙏❤ Sending you a big hug from New Zealand 🤗🥰 ~ Mandy
Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and the Southern Alps are even more beautiful.
The pastoral life in Queenstown is comfortable and healing.
Yes NZ has so many beautiful places outside of Auckland. Hopefully we get to feature them one day. 🙏😁
Thanks for this! I didn’t get to see as much of Auckland as I wanted as I stayed with friends on Waiheke Island (which was also wonderful).
You are most welcome. Waiheke is really lovely and has a great vibe. A lovely mixture of rural life with access to the city. ❤️
It's hard for me to attend premieres now but I always catch up later, thx for another interesting video, hope you two are doing well☺
Hello Pocahoetaz! Please know that we always love hearing from you, regardless of whether or not you make the Premiere 😁😀 We are both well, thank you, and are looking forward to reuniting in Portugal in February 🤗🥰
Love your video ❤
Thank you so much 🙏
Great to relive my travels there from 2008 - as Mandy said, there have been some changes but somethings were the same. I'd love to go back, I think NZ has been my favourite travel destination so far - I really liked it around Taupo, and also liked Wellington and Auckland
It's great that you still feel that way about NZ. It certainly has it's charms. I like the laid back easy going attitude of the people. Many visitors ignore the North Island and just head to the dramatic South. So glad you enjoyed it and I hope you get to visit again one day. 😊 Lee 👍
Ooohh interesting to see the bilingualism on the signs. It's like in Wales :)
Yes it's very prevalent in NZ. You can soon pick up some Maori words. The hardest part is the pronunciation.
Hello L&M-
I certainly share many of Lee’s characteristics…”Yes, was there about 9 years ago-wait a minute, it was more like 20 years ago!!” 😅 Time certainly flies. We visited Auckland 3 or 4 times but I’m afraid to guess how long ago was our last trip. 😅
Buses look new. I recall each driver had a huge wooden(?) tray to make all kinds of change + ticket sales. No plugs back then. Also recall Queen Street, Aquarium w/penguins, train station (w/o Post Office) and Sky Tower-which did NOT jump off of. Next time maybe? 😅
BTW-Mandy looks great. Bast of health to her. 👍🏻
Haha. 😂😂. Time does seem to fly by faster the older you get. It's all perception I suppose. It all seems like yesterday. 🤣 Auckland hasn't changed too much in the centre. I loved visiting the aquarium when I first arrived but haven't been for years. The museum as well is a beautiful place in a lovely location. ❤️
Mandy is doing really well thanks 🙏
Hello YES ALBANIA
We love Albania. Berat especially ❤️
ทักทายจากเมืองไทยครับ❤🎉😊
Hello from New Zealand! We love Thailand 🥰❤
@@FrugalTravellers ขอบคุณมากครับ นิวซีแลนด์ก็สวยมากครับ เมืองในฝันที่อยากไปเยือน
Hi Mandy / Lee,
Auckland seems to be a vibrant city and yet every time I think of New Zealand I think countryside.
That might be related to how travel operators "sell" the country on their Ads, but I understand why, since it's a beautiful country.
Food prices seems to be pretty similar to here in Europe but those two bowls were huge! 🥺
Hope you're keeping well, have a good week 🙋🏻♂️
Hi Sergio 😊
Yes, Auckland is the hustle bustle metropolis of NZ, but it still has that laid back country town feel. There are still areas of the city where you'll find cows grazing on undeveloped Maori tribal land. That makes it quite special.
You have to seek out the food bargains there but luckily there are still options available. Especially if you like pies. 😋
Have a wonderful week. 😍 L&M
As a frugal traveler myself I was curious how much the cost on the whale and dolphin trip was
Here's a link to their website. We went years ago and it was great fun.

I think I might give jumping off Robbie the Robot a miss. I presume you meant absailingy jumping Ha ha!
Haha 😂 Yes they attach you to a cable and it's a controlled descent. I should have mentioned that. 😂
I still couldn't get Mandy to do it in a thousand years. 😊
@@FrugalTravellers or me either!
Hope you’re doing well Mandy
Thank you so much for your very kind concern. I'll be posting videos from my Journey to Wellness series over the next few weeks, which will explain everything. This is the link to the playlist 🤗😁

Did you say its april at the moment?.....
Well spotted, Steve. This was last year, on our first trip home to New Zealand in 4 years.
Does each person need a hop card or can you pay for 2 person transport w one card?
you can pay for a second person on one card
Hello Stephanie. That's a great question, and one we didn't ask as had 2 cards. Apparently two people can use 1 card but the second person won't get the discount... or that's what I've just been told. Check the Auckland Transport website for full information. ~ Mandy
The second person pays for a one way ticket, which is for one zone 4 dollars and it will come out of the money on the ATHop card@@FrugalTravellers
