We're actually flying back to Portugal in October for our last ever Tilly the cat house-sit, which will be a bittersweet experience. It makes me smile every time I visit the dunny. 😊 Off grid living is fun short term but you really need to set up well to make it work long term. It suits us fine to stop there and unwind from the rigours of travel occasionally. 🙏👍😍
NZ is way safer than Australia, as we don't have any snakes at all, and we only have one type of poisonous spider, that I've never seen! I so love relaxing in my hammock in the countryside... it's where I feel the most like the real me 😍♥️

I prefer to wing it as an am inveterate taste tester 🤣 I'm sure it would have been black beans (soaked overnight); water; onion; garlic; tomato paste; tinned tomatoes; cumin; cayenne pepper and a pinch of cinnamon for sweetness. Would you teach us someday about how best to accrue mileage and how best to use them? For example, Is it better to look for cheapest tickets or stick to the same airlines for mileage?
That's such a great question, Liza, and I'm going to add it to the next Q&A. The simple answer is that we always go for the best cheap ticket, and have only just started accruing air miles with Singapore Airlines as we have taken so many flights with Scoot. I'm going to be flying back to Perth with Scoot in 10 days, but will then fly to Bangkok with my sister with Jetstar, and then fly Perth to London with Malaysian Air... so as you can see, we tend to go for the cheapest flights 😁😊
Hi Jules. It's a long drop, so a big hole in the ground that Lee dug years ago. I would like to change it to a compost toilet but am not sure if that'll ever happen.
