I have looked everywhere without any knowledge of the inner workings of my cars heater system for information about the problem, solution, & parts and days & many hours of research later I found your video!!! Its been miserable driving with my two kids in the rain and no defrost! i believe it's such an easy fix I'm so relieved!! 🎉🎉🎉😁😁😁🎉🎉🎉
Though I'm sure you already got it off... In case others are having issues.. It's pretty hard to get off you need to get a long flat head come up form behind it and just leverage to pop it off.. I did that and it still didn't come off so after pulling at it from different angles.. I was like F*** it " l if it breaks it breaks" then pulled on it as hard as I could... then it just flew off.. Didn't break or get damaged.. tho.... So these can get really stuck if they are original like mine I guess... On retrospective.. spraying it with Wd-40 might have helped loosen it... So can try that...
@@carlosk8103really appreciate this. Yes had already gotten off. Was trying to be a DiY guy lol. So hard to get off. Finally because of inspection just has the shop do it.

Any tips on getting the damper plate off? I can't seem to get the clip to pop to slide off.
