I love mikes perspective , ive used force negatives only as a additional hack for a complete training session.... it really helps to get his insight where it works and where it doesnt.... I love the part of fitness whereas years of experience in training theres so much to learn at every level. Its a constant evolution .

Going by feel makes so much sense. Instead of this progressive thinking where today I’m gonna do a few more reps or 5 more pounds to progress, you’ll automatically do it by getting that feeling later in the set. That feeling of burn may be after 12 reps one day then the next workout it will be at 15 so you progressed instead of putting a concrete number on all of your workouts. It makes working out feel like a job and so confusing counting reps and rep schemes
Same i never count always go off tension and feel of exhastion while contraction its a little different play around cuz somedays i mite not stretch or warm up as i should , everyday u dont wake up or feel the same as next day but overall u kno wat a good, okay and pointless reps are!! U are ur best teacher at end of day!! But take gems and incorporate into ur workouts!! Mvw thanks again!!!
So have you had your shoulder op yet. I was given the option on my shoulder. I was told it was the most straight forward operation the surgeon could do. And so effective.

If you arent an advanced trainer, you dont need to try these advanced techniques. Keep it simple and just execute the basics properly. Thats going to be enough for 99% of the people training.
