- My most recent addition, currently number 4, to my MR2 stable.
I spend some time inspecting the 1985 AW11 with an eye toward assessing the unbelievably low odometer reading. I do some superficial work replacing damaged panels. My attitude about the fate of the car swings from parts donor to viable daily or full restoration candidate. - Авто та транспорт

I learn so much in these sublimely paced walkthroughs thanks so much. I have an 85 AW11 (67k miles) and an 85 Celica GT (70k miles), both all original and used as dailys. I wish I had the space, knowledge, and tools to do work on them. Dig the music backgrounds too... I had not heard Adam Shaikh in forever, heard that again on one of your videos. All the best man. Please more AW11 things!

Fill up the tank with white vinegar! I’d bet she’s salvageable. For sure 7k car I’d wager, it’d look like a total pile underneath if it wasn’t. You and I both know how 4age’s like to leak hahah
I'll try that, thanks! Most cars I've dealt with, just a fresh tank of fuel has been sufficient, but this this one is the worst I've seen.

I want it
Mine is giving me problems, I redid the head and everything came out fine but the tps is trash , so I can drive above 2rpm , but I don’t know if my fuel pump went bad cause the dam thing takes a while to crank , I’ve messed with the vacuum that has two hoses connected to the intake throttle , so far made it better but I need a second opinion if my fuel pump is just bad at this point
Sounds like there are several possibilities in the mix here. How it was running before you had the head off is key info. Pick low hanging fruit first. If you know TPS is bad replace an eliminate that issue, but if you don't know it can be diagnosed. A fuel pressure test is an easy way to dismiss/confirm fuel pump problems. Based on the symptoms you describe, that the head was recently off, and assuming it ran prior, my first suspicion is Top Dead Center issues. (I'm brewing a TDC video.) Vacuum issues can be complex but an easy first step is to create a deliberate leak to see if it affects running. Pull a vac line and see if anything changes. If not you probably have a significant leak some place. Anyway it goes deeper from there. Divide and conquer.
@@ADub-Bub I’ve recently changed out the coil on the car and now I have oil on my spark plugs , I’ve put the project away for a bit now since I’m just trying to see how to get it running
