Great content Fred. I enjoy your videos. You are right that GM has put the world on notice. Now the "One Like None" is on the way. I was 14 spots behind Shane. I am so pleased that the Corvette sales Mgr, Shane, suggested I make the 5 hour drive from NJ to place my reservation. I am very happy to be # 38. Others in line were so nice & helpful. MM personnel were fantastic. A really awesome experience. Please keep up the content & your enthusiasm!! Bob
I'm using my front lift all the time. I couldn't imagine it any lower. I already need another ACS front air dam from scraping the bottom of mine when I wasn't being vigilant. Good luck with it.
Much better looking! Lowering these cars make them look a whole lot better. I did the Paragon springs on my first C8 with 19/20 inch wheels and it looked good but on bigger bumps it was just a little to harsh. Our roads are trash here. Current C8 has 20/21 inch wheels like you but lowered on factory Z51 coilovers. Sits almost perfect and not nearly as harsh on bumps, but wish there was just a little more adjustment in the rear.
You can get the same effect by doing the C8 track alignment. I did the track alignment and the car lowered significantly. Not only that, but the car handles way better with zero difference in tread wear, contrary to popular belief.
@@Aspendog2k2 lots of opinions on the truth on this on the internet. However, it most definitely made it lower on my Z51, and I track my car. And I've never had a problem with the front end scraping, but now I do because it sits lower. Yes I do have a front end lift. I wish I could post a picture to show the gap from tire to wheel fender.
I just lowered mine the same way and it’s lowered but doesn’t seem as low as a lot of others including yours. Granted I have stock wheels. How long did it take for yours to settle?
I will never understand the lowering concept especially in a car that is low and benefits from front lift. I would think about other aspects of providing content for your channel this year. I do appreciate what you have shared.
if your Vette is still under warranty and you have the front lift package, lowering your Vette will void your warranty, and you'll get error codes. Just a heads up.
I'm curious as to what you'll notice in ride difference. I'm guessing it's going to be a lot firmer? I like the idea that BSP is keeping the rake in that under hard acceleration you will get and need the rear squat and you don't want to lose that. Keep us in the loop Mike. Save the wave albeit from a lower vantage point. 😉
I already have this setup. My rear never settled. I can fit 1 finger in the front and 2 in the rear. I will take my car back to life the front a bit more. I want it the same level as the area to have a consistent look.
Same here, I was trying to get that leveled look as well and get rid of the raked look. Wished the rear would've dropped just a little more because the front looked perfect.
To each their own. I personally wouldn’t spend much on this because it’s not my priority. What would this cost the average Joe - total for parts and labor? (But I admire your passion.)
Parts and labor $700-1600 depending on what model you have z51, mag ride etc. it also depend if you are changing out the springs and do You want to lower 1” for 2”.
Why in the world would you lower it it’s beautiful the way it is any lower lots of trouble especially when there’s something in the road lol but that’s your choice
It looked like the outside of your tire was a bit either choppy or cupped that’s when w looked at it before any work was done. I don’t think I would run the 1000 miles before bringing it back to re-align it. A 1000 miles could cost you a set of tires…
This is how you take your C8 to the NEXT LEVEL!
Lowering it really adds to the aggressive look…very bad ass! Handling should be awesome! 👍🏻

I find it Comical that the Majority of these UA-camrs that have C8’s/ Z06’s can’t/ DON’T do ANYTHING to their cars Themselves 😅
Great work
Thank you

Did you send a message earlier about a gift??
Can you confirm

The car can not lower with an alignment no matter what specs used.
Z51 cars this is true because they can adjust the factory coils almost a full inch lower. Mike does not have z51 package.

Thank you Darren, it kind of reminds me of someone else’s car 👍
Mike your C8 HTC looks amazing to me!! Keep up the fantastic vlogs!!👍

Driver weight, fuel amount on the tank..?

I’ve lowered two c8’s both with front lift and never had one issue.
@@nrdemon1031 Happy to hear that, my man.

👍😊
Wow I am not alone in my thoughts.
Love what you have done. I think you should call it Zebra
Thank you, lol 😂
Do you like The Zebra name? Really has the look Mike! All positive
How much does a mod like that cost ?
Love the look of a lowered car! How much $$ in labor cost?
A lot for springs, well for sure they charge 200 an hour
$800-1200 depending if you do an alignment.
Good luck on speed bumps.
Thanks 👍
its actually not that bad, my is lowered just like this for a year already
Car Looks Great. Accept the wrap.

The cost is not worth the difference!! I would not spend that much money on something that does almost nothing to overall look of the car!!
After viewing your captain America car and now your alterations on a perfectly good car I think they should take your license away.
😂having fun .
No good with speed bumps
It’s a convertible there will always be some twist …. It’s not a track car
Why would you put bos on a corvette it’s a ford badge here in Australia sorry love corvette’s please take that rap off
It's a play off of his name, has nothing to do with ford....
Not at all necessary. Corvettes look great without the extra crap.
I know you need video content, but it all seems to be too much.
Mike is doing a great job for the C8 community.
