Thanks, Shaf. This is the third tutorial I have tried but this one works. My advice is to follow the instructions and finally delete any other keyboard driver (USB in my case. the PS2 driver did not showed up in Device Manager and it was not detected by the PC) then reboot, and that's all. I am absolutely happy to being able to work with the most comfortable keyboard I ever had.

Still when i updated my standard ps/2 keyboard still it was showing that “window encounter a problem installing the driver for your device” …device cannot start (code 10) what should i do

Not in my case when didn't have battery. Then left it for 3 weeks on my table not plugged in. I suspect some wiring on and off is causing out of whack signals to the keyboard when on and rebooted nicely in memory. Hence tried to put it up again and it suddenly worked? I was like what just happened here? Then i had tiny problem few months after and i did the same and it worked after few days by doing same trick. I tried same things with A music player mp3 and mp4. didn't work like 7 times within 12 years. each time i stored it away for months to years and it began to work each time again. I also disassembled this whole laptop to see if anything radically wrong? I regret doing that now since it was hard to put tight on again. But it was the only thing that worked. I was so desperate i watched 180 videos and read 400 pages or more plus endless forum threads. I tried this in defeat and it worked. If you have something else to use while waiting it might work for you also. I know it sounds far out but it helped. I tried all you could do. Trust me. All tricks. All hacks. Nothing.

I have the exact same things on the registry but still the keyboard doesn't work, only time it will work again is when I let the computer sleep and than wake it up but if I shut it down and boot it again same problem.
