“Oh yes, the past can hurt. But from the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.” - Rafiki
"you are a Bamboon. And I am not"
“The king...has returned.”
Swings rod - Simba Ducks.
Ha HA You See?!?
Beautiful lines to Simba.
Wise old Rafiki , wonderful words of wisdom.
To this day... The Lion King soundtrack continues to give me chills and goosebumps during every climactic scene. It's just so intense and, beyond doubt, a tearjerker!
tear jerker alright
YES!!
You're absolutely right!
Of all the great Disney soundtracks, The Lion Kings are absolutely the best ones
It’s Hans Zimmer’s crowning achievement. He’a done very few scores I respect him for, but this is certainly one I do respect him for making. It is remarkable, and tells of a greater story than words can say.
My god each one of these videos that comes out I'm like "I've been waiting my whole life for this."
Same!
Steven Scheibal same
same :D
Lol this is so true!
SAME FEELING FOR ME OMG THIS IS PURE GOLD
THE MOST MAJESTIC SOUNDTRACK MUSIC IN HOMO SAPIENS SAPIENS' HISTORY
aprilshower7799 i Love you haha la subís
So true
that and the Gladiator elysium
Hans Zimmer produced lots of amazing soundtracks but for me the best original soundtrack is the one of the lord of the ring trilogy of Howard Shore.
the most majestic film and musical ever
"You have forgotten who you are, and so you have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life" - Mufasa
"How can I go back? I'm not who I used to be!" - Simba
"Remember who you are. You are my son, and the one true king. Remember who you are" - Mufasa
Truly some of the best writing. I’m sure it speaks to a lot of people on a very deep level.
Beautiful words ❤️

All African must return back to thier own ancestor land of Africa.Unite back and become great again. For you are The true israelite peoples, descendant of The Holy Land, The Land of Adam & Eve started civilization.WOW😭😭
YOU ARE NO LONGER A SLAVE TO FEAR🙏🙏
That is, for me, the most important message in the play.
You may be down, you may be depressed, you may be at the point of giving up..but Trust me, He silence still means He is speaking. Trust His process, He will always come through for you. Giving up is not an option now. God bless You
Jesus heals, Jesus saves
What's embarrassing is that this soundtrack is making me feel teary at work right now and I don't know how I can explain the feeling to anyone else. It feels as though I can almost touch my childhood days if I stretch out my hand...
Thank you for this. It's beautiful.
no need to feel embarassed man, you just are able to connect this beautyful Music to your Childhood days cause u grew up with the original Movie and that created big memories for you, then the 3 D Remake came and suddenly you got the Flashback and ur Emotions came back on you. I feel you man :) enjoy that feeling no need to expain it to anyone else.
I agree with you !!!
Wow...and now you made me feel teary...what a beautiful heart yours is...
Same bro🫡🥲
I think what your experiencing is the Heaven theory, maths is gods language and then music is the channel to heaven.
It’s just a theory and I’m not even a believer I’m an agnostic.
But it makes sense in a way.
Hans zimmer is our modern day mozart
True I put him above John Williams honestly
frick yes!!!
Oh yes
@@serfinchalot786 Holy crap! Thats EPIC... You must have felt high walking out of the theatre lol
hum..... no.
BUT; hans Zimmer really like mozart.
he rewrote a part of his requiem.
I liked Mozart, but i'va discovered Weber and his concertos for clarinet and i prefer him.
But Hans Zimmer is so a genius and to me, He is the best ever.
he Is perfect for the orchestra AND for the electro music so....
a genius.
(sorry i'm french but i hope you anderstood my message... :D)
I genuinely think this is one of the best movies ever made.
Hans Zimmer simply cannot be beat. His music will always be iconic. The Prince of Egypt, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes, Inception, etc! I love his complete change of style in Chappie, and his epic and moving scores in The Lone Ranger.
John Williams is right up with 'im!
@@daimondcut2909 So true!!
Also, he did "Firebird suite"! The prettiest, jumpiest song EVER.
dont forget the LOTR Ost.
You forgot Madagascar that movie was lit
I cried when simba saw his father mufasa in the clouds
I still feel the same way about that part 29 years later
You're not alone, scenes like this one, or for example from avatar the last airbender: "leaves from the vine" i always choke up a bit as a grown ass adult. Especially the version done by the dutch voice actor for uncle iroh, soo much emotion in it. My heart weeps everytime, as if he truly lost his son.
I know and I also cried when Simba finds his father Mufasa dead and keeps telling him to get up, that they have to go home.😭😭😭😭
Goosebumps all over my body. This... THIS is music.
Poet Poet Agreed!
These tunes are brilliant and so soothing. I was very very stressed and sad today. But these tunes helped me and I am very grateful. We are gifted to have this in our life. Why am I so cringe?! WHAT IS HAPPENING. Whatever. XD

😔😢😭💔❤️
The most painful scene for me who lost my father and knowing very well after watching the movie a million times. Its just punch to the gut
@@simphiwejentile1614 Damn, I’m sorry to hear that. Losing a parent is never easy. I’m sure he’s smiling down and guiding your every step just as Mufasa did with Simba.
@@FoxyWhispersASMR 100% every step of the way🙏
honestly this music hit different when your South African and can understand the Zulu lyrics bruh. Absolutely beautiful , thank you Hans Zimmer for this masterpiece.
Can you please translate it for us?
I got tears in my eyes. So many memories. So beautiful movie. 32 and still Hakuna Matata ❤️
I'm 11 and I am crying. Rare for me.
You see?
He Lives In You.
Dad? We're pals, right?
Hehehe.... RIGHT!
And we'll always be together, right?
Simba.... Let me tell you something your Grandfather once told me.
Look to the Stars. The Great Kings of the Past look down on us from those Stars.
So whenever you feel alone, always know that those Stars will be there to guide you.
And so will I.

It´s incredible what human memory can do
I was 7 years old, sick with hepatitis and my mom bought me this movie.
Until today, I can recite word by word this movie, and songs
(both english and spanish versions)
The doctors thought I had leukemia when I was 5 (which was a lie) and when I was in the hospital, it was the first time that I saw this movie and ever since then I was so hooked to it I know every scene by heart❤️❤️
This is my second favorite 1994, next to Beauty and the Beast 1991. Disney movie I was 10 years old when I saw at the theater. Where can find the Spanish from songs from the Lion King? Thank you.
@@hgwilt1 You can find it browsing "Lion King instrumental Español Latino" bro, I'll say that in the spañish community of The Lion King, all the dub actors are top from their time, and so loved by all 'cause they feel like...so warm, idk but I like it

I swear this is literally the most sad/emotional soundtrack in any movie ever.
Well for me, each time it played it made me so emotional.
No one can change my mind, it's so sad.

This music makes me miss Africa so much and I have never been to Africa!
why did that make so much sense lol

Best Soundtrack of Disney
Yes the best
dont forget Moana!!
Is it me but does this make anyone else cry? It's so beautiful, Lion King wouldn't be half the movie it is without the soundtrack.
This is probably not the best instrumental music to listen to when studying. 100% sure you will be crying while studying, and not just because of the test you're studying for, but because of this music's beauty and background story we can all relate any point of our lives to.
Real talk
Right now I'm just crying because of the test, but I definitely know what you mean lol
How truly lucky are we to live just close enough to receive the sun's gentle warmth yet far enough away not to be incinerated? Enough for it to support life and give us a clear enough atmosphere to enjoy it.
Pumbaa: Timon... ever wonder what those sparkling dots are up there?
Timon: Pumbaa, I don't wonder I know. They're fireflies... fireflies that got stuck up in that big... bluish black thing.
Pumbaa: Ohh. I always thought they were balls of gas burning billions of miles away.
Simba: “Somebody once told me, that the great kings of the past are up there...watching over us.”
Cameron Troutman
Timon and Pumba: “R.e.a.l.l.y???”
Timon: “So you mean a bunch of royal dead guys are watching us?”
Timon: Why is everything about gas with you??
No Pumbaa, they are giant nuclear reactors burning billions of miles away

I have been reading some comments and I am glad that I am not the only one who is crying while listening this beautiful masterpiece🥹
Hans Zimmer has more than earned his place in the pantheon of composers, alongside the likes John Williams and James Horner.
This is the only thing I’ve ever wanted, and now I have it... my life is complete. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart.
I listened to this soundtrack non stop as a child and I still listen to it often as an adult. I’m about to go back to non stop.
One more thing I’ve seriously got tears in my eyes!!! It’s so beautiful, you’ve done it great justice. I’m gonna stop gushing now god I’m a tlk nerd
Well I'm filling my pool.
The Lion King is the BEST
I've got tears in my eyes... This is my childhood and makes me so nostalgic... I love Disney so much, especially the music (which always gives me goosebumps) and the message behind each movie...
"You see... he lives in you."
Mufasa: Simba...
Simba: Father?
Powerful movie. WHY AM I SO CRINGE. LION KING POSSESSED ME. Why am I okay with it?! StarClan help me! Bonous points if you know what StarClan is ;)
🙏🙏🙏
0:50 idk why but this part makes me so emotional everytime i hear it
Because the music is amazing and is from the scene of Simba seeing Mufasa in the clouds. Goosebump-worthy!
That scene was Legendary 😍😭
the newer movie changes you. in a good but... not good in the big big city way.
This soundtrack make me want to cry. Also, is meh username Ellie loves Warrior cats? Tell me if not.

I'm not crying. You are... 😢 Miss you dad, even if I you left this world when I were only 11 month, I miss you deeply!
One day we will meet again and then we will talk about everything that we missed out on.
See you later dad!
My heart is aching as I listen to this. Genius to write music that can provoke such emotion.

Best Classic Disney Movie of my Childhood....💖💖💖
13:17 Just so majestic.
I have chills
Me before listening: "The Lion King soundtrack for two hours? I mean it was good but this is a stretch"
Me five minutes into it: I'VE NEEDED THIS MY WHOLE LIFE
Hans Zimmer is an international treasure
Oh my goodness, this is lovely! I love the African voices in the background. "Never forget who you are."! This literally touches my very soul with how great it is.
Thank you so much for this! Lion King is the first movie that I've watched in the cinema when it came out on 1992. It was a birthday gift from my grandma for my 6th birthday and the 2 of us went together. Now she's gone and hearing this music brings back all the good memories.
I feel it brother same happened with me i remember my dad when everytime i listen this music❤
The Lion king was the first movie they ever bought us as kids.
"The past can hurt. But you can run from it or learn from it"
What a movie it feels... So emotional
@Ambient Worlds: Next to Beauty and the Beast, Lion King is pretty much my favorite Disney movie ever. You mentioned watching it with your mother. I remember watching it with my dad when I was 16. The scene where Mufasa was killed just broke my heart, as 1) my dad's father was killed when my dad was 16, and 2) I just couldn't think of losing my dad at so young an age. I'm 41, and I nearly lost my dad a year and a half ago due to his respiratory issues. It doesn't matter what age you are: if you are close to your dad, the thought of not having him around will turn on the waterworks.
It does. I'm his mini-me.
Who else put this on to study and work to but ended up just chillin/ remembering the scenes , like when you were a kid watching for the first time? Getting no work done haha
This was the first movie sountrack I ever got. I remember it like it was yesterday. We were driving across the nation to Disneyland and Burger King was giving away the soundtrack with a purchase. I listened to this soundtrack the whole trip. Hans Zimmer instantly became my favorite composer. This was the last trip I got to take with my mother before she got extremely sick. Thank you for making this.
I casually wanted to listen to this while studying but now I'm crying thanks
Lol, saaammmeee, except I'm supposed to be editing my next novel.
People say this is sad, while me, as a young autistic person, this is SERIOUSLY calming and relaxing, and also MAJESTIC!
It's the same theme that I listen to as a kid and seen the movie
It truly does baffle me how somebody could be able to come up with something as beautiful as this score. It takes a real genius, a true mastermind to think of something like this and be able to pull it off. Any time I hear this score I burst into happy tears at its beauty. And I’m very grateful to Hans Zimmer for making scores that stick with me to this day.
The BEST OST of history. I think there is no doubt about that. Any film has a soundtrack THAT perfect, emotional, meaningfull, intense and beautiful.
Damn! There's nothing more effective to get me sobbing than the Lion King's soundtrack. Every single time
This music is so calming and brings back lovely memories 🦁 remember who you are.
The Lion King give me faith in humanity every time I remember that humans make this masterpiece
I just got my first job as a teacher and I am lowkey teary at the fact that this started to play in my playlist mix. I feel very emotional since I grew up with this film and its soundtrack. Just like this music, I hope I can make a difference even if it's small in the lives of my future students.
I simply cannot believe this video exists 😍❤️😭 41:03
Truly and surely.
This is beautiful healing music. I am so soothed by this. This world is full of hate. If we stand together, we can stop it. Have hope. Stop worrying. God will come through the hatred. ❤️
