Jordan, I'm so glad they did not demolish Ryman, It's such a beautiful historical building, let alone It's the original "Grand Ole O'Pry".Nudies Honkie Tonk, was like visiting another museum. His car on the wall is awesome. And then taking us to Hanks house, and then later it was Tammys house. I never knew she died in her home. Thanks Jordan, for another beautiful, informative, video" loved it".God bless
Hi Jordan, wasn't that a lovely statue called "Oh Roy". What a lovely old building, and what a REAL ARRAY of old Hollywood stars have performed there, I am so pleased that they saved this marvelous piece of entertainment history. Another good photo of you aswell Jordan. Some lovely old posters in Nudie's. Great vlog Jordan.
Great vlog. I love being inside the Ryman Auditorium. Never thought I'd ever see in detail what's inside. I love Nudie's Bar. What a fun place. Sad that Hank Williams original house is gone. Would have been nice to see where he last lived. Thank you very much for another wonderful vlog. Can't wait to see where we go tomorrow. Safe Travels and Take Care.
Awesome! That Nudie guy sure made some great clothes. Very interesting to hear about all the famous people who played at The Ryman Auditorium. What I love most about your videos is the side or back stories that you include with all your vids. Great job Jordan!
Awww Jordan thanks for the trip to the grand ol oprey! I don't know if there are stairs in and out of the building but definatly up to the balcony and you gave us the grand tour - thank you!! I don't do stairs so I appreciate the views from above :-). Like someone else mentioned in the comments, if those walls could talk - wow!
It’s hard to believe that they were going to demolish the Ryman at one time. Soooo glad they didn’t. Helen Keller actually did a lecture there back in 1913. It was the first ticketed event that was sold out at the Ryman. Also, they cut a big circle out of the original stage of the Ryman where all of the performers stood at. They then placed it into the stage of the new Opry House so all that perform there can stand on the same spot that all the greats from the past once stood. Great vid! Thanks!
Anyone watching this, you have to see it 2 or 3 times to absorb all the information that's jam packed in it. My head is spinning! This was so exciting. I had no idea it was originally a real tabernacle. Great research, great history. So glad it's being preserved. Great vlog.
Hey Jordan, is there still an amusement park any where near there?, I went there when I was a teenager in the mid 70's, they had a rollercoaster that twisted around called the wahbash cannonball I believe, I think it was one of the first ones where you went upside down. I' m loven' these vlogs from the south a lot, I mean a lot, considering I live in elkmont al. Hi Jah.😎🐶
Bluegrass is great music I remember growing up watching it on TV as a kid. Wonderful old building full of history foottapping handclapping history and christian singing within its walls. How exciting to stand on that stage where all those people sang.....priceless, Big thumbs up Jordan for this vlog......Nudie what a talent!!!! Love the music playing too. Appreciated!!!!
When we drove past the Ryman, I was surprised at how massive the front of the building was. We didn't stop, but I wish we had. We will be going back to Nashville soon. Nudie was a very creative and talented guy. Anybody who was anybody played the Grand Ol Opry. Thanks for showing up where all that awesome music came from back in the day! Great stuff Jordan!
As usual Jordan another wonderful vlog. What a colorful and wonderful history country music has. I never realized that the old Grand Ole Opry building was so big and that the country musicians pull together and renovated it. One performer that I really always loved was Minnie Pearl. So it was good to see they honored her also.
Howdy Jordan well that was a treat. To think of all the greats that performed on that stage. Listening to the band was a knee slapper and I loved it. When I went there I didn't have the chance to go inside Ryman's but thank's to you I just did. Thank you Jordan for this vlog. It was great. Have a great day, peace and happiness...
Thanks Jordan for bringing us along on this vlog!! Wow it’s great to see the Ryman Auditorium in all its glory. Thanks so much and btw you looked just like you belonged on that stage!! Take care🌹🌺🌼🌸🦋🍀🌻🌻🤠
Known as "The Mother Church of Country Music." What a beautiful building... IF you're in Nashville be sure and tour it.... I've got a picture of me standing at the microphone with a guitar strapped on. A great momento from the Ryman...
I think that The Who "exploding drums incident" you mentioned actually occurred during a 1967 episode of "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" and not on Johnny Cash's show filmed here at the Ryman. I enjoy your vlogs.
Wow what a legendary place you vlogged, talk about star power.....learned so much never knew the history of Tammy Wynette’s former house, and of course any thing Nudie themed is just awesome. Thank you!
All them stars from Hollywood and the White House......fantastic. what a great and wonderful time to see all those people who were famous. Minnie Pearl is my favorite so was Roy Acuff
So glad you got your vlog done there, did you feel Roy Acuff's ghost there? It's rumoured he roams the building, having worked as an usher there, I have been tapped on the shoulder on the balcony, and I would turn around thinking somebody needed help with finding their seat and nobody would be there, staff told me is was Roy...
Thank you for filming that Jordan. What historic building it has seen all the country music stars I sure wished I could go around doing what you're doing how fantastic
Jordan do you know if there's a book with photos of Nudies creations ? I love all types of historical clothing. I loved all the stage costumes.Another winner ! I will say it again, this was my favorite trip you have taken. Never realized I like country music so much , my car radio has been on the rock & roll station since I learned how to drive.
Jordan!!! I knew it you trickster, I'm like of all the places he hasn't gone to.. the ol Oprey house!! I'm glad you went there I so loved it cause I always wanted to see it. Great vlog thanks again!!
I went to the Ryman in 1983 it was rather rundown looking , but I did go on the stage and backstage right where there was one dressing room. I also saw the mailboxes off stage left.A few artifacts were in a glass case in the back behind the pews. The seats in the balcony wrapped around the entire building. I went again in 1994 after the restoration and I was amazed at what it looked like, Gaylord did a great job restoring it.
I always love the story of how an old building came to be or what happened to a legends house. You did a great job with both the Ryman and Hank's house. Nudie's looked like a great time! I've learned about Nudie from your channel and I never get tired of seeing more of his wonderful creations.
Glad this building was saved, as it's a great bit of history. and having learned so much in these last vlogs, good to see where it all started, grand ole opry was something I'd only heard of from your vlogs now it has a home, starting place, museum, saved. Thanks How many cars and suits did nudie have seems they are everywhere. Oh, foo fighters live a must see, seen them twice, epic.
The concert by Emmylou Harris which led to the renovation was recorded, producing 'Live at the Ryman' (with Bill Monroe). She tells a story about how dilapidated the place had become, and how the musicians had to climb through a window to reach the stage!
another great vlog thank you again my late hubby didn't get to go to the old grand ole opry but he did go to the new one unfortunate he was too ill to perform there he did stand on the stage though and he did go back stage and meet a few artists and had tea with charlie pride
Thank you Jordan for the wonderful videos you have done in true form of how country music began. The music legends live on through your videos. Your dedication is greatly appreciated !
I was here in the late 80's & it was in horrible shape. They had all of the doors open so anyone could walk in. The floors looked awful. I remember seeing a display of one of Patsy Cline's outfits with boots & thinking that anyone could walk in ant take it. I was so thrilled some years later to come back & seeing it being restored. This is a beautiful building.
I have always heard of the Grand Ol Opry but did not know much about it til NOW! tons of historical figures there. It is great that it was saved. Thanks Jordan for always educating us!!
I was at the ryman in 99, saw Dixie chicks, Steve Earle, and Jackson Browne in April 99, it was a benefit to abolish the death penalty in Tennessee. What a deal, $10 a ticket and saw some real talent that day. Never forget it. Jackson Browne was unbelievable
Fantastic Jordan!! Wow!! Such history and beauty!! Embarrassed to say, had no clue what a 'Nudie Suit' was when you were doing your Elvis vlogs, so googled it...such detail. Some must have been fairly heavy with all the beading etc!! Thanks for another amazing vlog! 🇨🇦💜
So bad ass.. Bravo, yet again Jordan! These Nashville vlogs have replaced the Scott Michaels and Dearly Departed vlogs as my favorite.. You are stepping up in your craft to another level brotha!
Great video Jordan. All these Nashville videos are so rich with your research. A little sad.because so many of these artists are gone. Oh well good job as usual
Oh wow !! They have really changed the Ryman Auditorium . It looks nice though . I've been twice in 86 and in 98 . You use to pay and walk right in the front doors . Nothing had been changed . Stood on the original stage and got to go back to the dressing rooms . I singed my name on the wall in the dressing rooms . It did need to be fixed for sure , but I do wish they would've allowed you to stand on the stage and take the old tour in the back into the dressing rooms . Jordan , the 2nd time I went I ALMOST... tore down the Ryman Auditorium . My husband told me to go park and he would hop out and go pay for parking . At that time all the concrete bumpers that you pull up to and park your car we're broken . I'm pulling my husband's truck up facing the Ryman and my husband is yelling at me to stop !! I didn't even hear him . I parked the truck . Got out and sure enough...another foot and I would have went off down into that sidewalk and tore down the Ryman Auditorium ! Yep.... I would have died right there in countries music history if I hadn't have stopped when I did . I love that you went to Hawk Williams house !! I've never seen that before . I love that you shared the story about his house . I love this whole video !! Thank you Jordan for taking us along !!
If I remember correctly part of the flooring from the old ryman is installed in the new auditorium. I think I saw Stringbean in that photo you showed. He died so tragically! Blessings!!
These have been the most amazing vlogs Jordan! I'm glad you are able to do some bucket listing on you're adventure this summer! You're an amazing dude.👍😁
Well now that is one interesting vlog, Jordan. Great information and cool photos of all of Nudie's suits. Wow! Even Elvis' gold lame was there. That surprised me alot. Thank you for doing this great vlog.
I’d LOVE to go to the Opry the old one the one you were at that would be So COOL(Ryman Auditorium) (I seen it the outside of the building) 😎 I’ve been to the country music Hall of Fame and Museum (founded 1961) years ago it was Awesome!!! I bet it is Even Better now! 👍🏻🎶 🎙 last time I was in Nashville and Memphis Elvis was still alive...❗️😮
Very interesting. Didn't know the history of the Ryman. So fun seeing all this history. Not too familiar with Marty Robbins but really love his suit and would totally wear it myself!
Very cool! I’ve visited through the years CMA’s Ryman Hauntings are another discussion you probley didn’t have much interest to discuss. We had the opportunity to speak with worker years ago that had stories of the palace. Great vlog
There is a lot of history in that Ryman. I'm glad it b.c. was saved for everyone! Thank you Ms. Harris!
Jordan, I'm so glad they did not demolish Ryman, It's such a beautiful historical building, let alone It's the original "Grand Ole O'Pry".Nudies Honkie Tonk, was like visiting another museum. Thank you, the Grand Old Opry was a big part of my childhood. Howdee!!!
Awesome! That Nudie guy sure made some great clothes. Very interesting to hear about all the famous people who played at The Ryman Auditorium. What I love most about your videos is the side or back stories that you include with all your vids. Great job Jordan!
I was there at Ryman when I was young at Grand Ole Opry and saw Loretta Lynn and others. Thanks Jordan
Awww Jordan thanks for the trip to the grand ol oprey! I don't know if there are stairs in and out of the building but definatly up to the balcony and you gave us the grand tour - thank you!! We listen to your heartwarming stories while we do artwork at home. We click "Like" every time.
Very cool
You made me cry. Saw Grand Ole Pry when I was 11 in the Ryan. Saturday night at the Opry. Awesome!
Ryman Auditorium auto correct is a pain.
It’s hard to believe that they were going to demolish the Ryman at one time. Soooo glad they didn’t. Helen Keller actually did a lecture there back in 1913. Nothing could be cooler than Hank Williams hand written lyrics of "Your Cheating Heart" with date he wrote it on!

Loving all your vlogs...learning a lot through your videos. Fantastic job!!
Love your blogs, Jordan! Just a note: Katherine Hepburn appeared at the Ryman in "The Philadelphia Story," not "The Philadelphia Experiment."
I'm so glad you found something to point out instead of a thank you. Makes the work worth it

Johnny Cash married June Carter at a Church right across from the Courthouse where I live. The Church is still in use today. :-)
