A few years ago i was able to visit Nashville. Did the Hall of Fame. The Oprey, Broadway etc. Was not able to visit the Johnny Cash museum. Great to see it in your video! Mr Cash was a great man.
My best friend’s father Merle Kilgore, was Johnny’s best man. He was also the writer of Ring of Fire. Steve, my buddy, has told me many great stories about growing up around Johnny. It is a great museum.
Ok this vlog hit hard. Thanks again. It's what I needed right when I needed it. Sunday Mourning Coming Down. Hot Chicken and Bidcuits...Love you Guys..
I love Johnny Cash, I remember the long drive to work the morning I heard he had passed. Put a couple of them dates together you said and you have my birthdate. 😆 😆 Thanks for this awesome video
Great vlog - especially when the both of you were in the Bar & BBQ. Enjoyed the live music. "Mammas, don't let your babies grow up to be UA-camrs." haha!
Awesome job Jay. I grew up listening to Johnny and the first song my son learned to sing was Ring Of Fire. I was fortunate enough to see the Highway Men. Fabulous concert. Now on to watch Cris’s video!
Awesome road trip and amazing coverage of all the sights and sounds of Nashville Tennessee...and who doesn't Love some Johnny Cash...mighty fine adventure. Speaking of BBQ there is a place in Tampa you may or may not have been too... it's called Big John's Alabama BBQ on 5707 N.40th Street Tampa... it's been given the best of the best of the state...maybe give it a visit. Appreciate all you do and share on every episode. Safe travels as you two return home.😎🇺🇸😊👍🎸🎙️🎶🪕
Hey Tampa Jay, We went to the house of Cash and to Johnny Cash Home back in 1977 He was one of my favorite Thank you for sharing another great video have fun and stay safe 🙏👍🇺🇸
He was the "Space Coyote" who guided Homer on his spiritual journey. JR had an amazing career with lots of parallels to Elvis. Born into extreme poverty they rose through their incredible talents. Cash found Christ which helped him turn his life around. His "House of Cash" in Hendersonville was amazing while it lasted (unfortunately it burned down) but you can still visit/see the property and the Mama Cash house across the street (where Johnny and his mother died). Back in the late 70's he used to have a gift shop and sold cook books. Visit his grave at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Well done. Safe travels.
Awesome video, my friend! You and Cris both did awesome jobs on these two videos. Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline would be proud!❤ Thank you for taking us along with you both. Hugs 🤗 Safe travels headed home 🙏
J, as I mentioned before….I really miss that city…..if my allergies weren’t always flaring up and the humidity in the summer & tornado season…..I wouldn’t mind living there. I still have friends that live there and miss a lot of my college friends & professors at Middle TN State University
Hi jay I'm a big fan I would say if you come to the UK Liverpool please go to the Beatles museum it's absolutely brilliant keep up the good work from fletchers adventures here in the UK x❤
I bought Johnny Cash CD album Folsom prison I got it 2 weeks ago and the other day i got the San Quentin CD I bought them at darkside records in Poughkeepsie New York.
His sister Joanne still lives in Madison, Tennessee, which is about 15 miles away. Johnny, June, Mother Maybelle and Merle Kilgore are all buried by each other in nearby Hendersonville Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Love all your content Jay, you should watch the movie my darling Vivian about Johnny Cash's first wife it is very informative and tells you a lot about Johnny's character
"My momma told me son, always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns but I shot a man in Reno... Just to watch him die" I love the man in black. Love some Tampa Jay and Cris the girl too. Thanks for bringing us along my friend. On a side note, I watched an old episode of Columbo just a few nights ago and Johnny Cash was in it. It was pretty good.
I'm glad that you your lady friend split things up. You both have content and not that great of an overlap. I follow alot of channels and can get an over-load of info from 3-5 people. Much appreciated of both of your work.
You need to watch the movie documentary " My Darling Vivian" The life of his first wife narrated by his daughters Roseanne, Kathy Tara and Cindy. A lot of home movies.
I loved the movie have watched it at least 10 times which I usually like any music biography movie and that Hurt video is just so so sad it was like him saying goodbye.
if i am not mistaken johnny held his last concert there in the museum, i've seen the video , not much respect was shown to him, people getting up , walking around etc had i been there, i would have not stood for such a thing, rest in peace johnny
Nice video. However, when I was there 2 1/2 years ago they (and the Patsy Cline Museum) had a strict no video in the galleries policy. It was posted quite prominently at the ticket area. And if you asked any of the employees, they said the same thing. You could take all the photos you like, but no video. Is that no longer in effect? Has that changed? If so, that’s great news!
If you get the chance go back and tour the Country Music Hall of Fame and you can buy a ticket to RCA Studio B where many people including Elvis recorded
Ed Bruce first produced the song ( Momma don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys) Then Merle Haggard made it famous! Enjoy your videos from central Fl.

Great museum tour, and you’re a very good singer. My dad was a very big fan of Johnny Cash so I go up listening to him!
Johnny Cash is definitely a legend & a rebel. Plus, Sam Phillips who created Sun Records that signed Elvis….a true genius.

I hit my head on that very same motorcycle when shopping there a few years ago! lol
They would not let me film there. Thanks for the video.
Got the burning ring of fire tearing me up right now
Cool Museum Jay!
Thanks Nick
I bought Johnny Cash CD album Folsom prison I got it 2 weeks ago and the other day i got the San Quentin CD I bought them at darkside records in Poughkeepsie New York.

I didn't start liking country music until the Rolling Stones did it on there bankers banquet album and The Beatles on their White album.

I don’t remember seeing any signs or anyone telling us that. That’s odd.
@@TampaJay I guess they changed the policy then. That's good to know!

I had the 8 inch record of Merle and Willie collabing on the song when I was a kid . My fave
I became the 420 liker on this video lol 😂
So you are allowed to record & walkthrough the museum??
None of Johnny Cash's daughters would watch I Walk the Line, because it showed their real mother in a bad light
I get that
So how’d you manage to film in there? because when I went they had a full on no recording policy
That’s odd. No one said anything to me about that.
@@TampaJay then again that was also 3 years ago lol
Also...it’s Mother Maybelle, not Mabel.
any free parking near by/
Bet you want a piece of that chocolate 😜
Good Morning Tampa Jay ( YOU HOTTIE )
Music row and Broadway are two completely different streets....
You’re the first one to mention that
Ахуенный видос!!!
Sad Johnny abandoned his first wife and 3 daughters after meeting June. Cowardly move. Tarnished his music for me a bit.
