It's hard work, but I worked for a friend of mine who owned the restaurant. So it was a pleasure to help him and to see him have a successful business. I learned alot about working behind the scenes in a restaurant. It's super hard work. It's insanely busy and the pay isn't that great. It's not for everyone. This guy in this video did a great job.

You really should get one of those pump sprayers that they sell to put garden chemicals in. Literally CHANGED my life! It is so much easier and faster to get the degreaser where you need it. Great job BTW!

Two suggestions. Where rubber gloves to avoid the chemicals breaking down like they do on the food gloves. Second I would suggest eye goggles to protect from the chemicals you're spraying. Other than that, this is outstanding, and I respect a business owner who gets into the trenches of their business and maintains proper cleanliness. Outstanding! Good job.

Best way to clean the filters is hot water with washing powder . It melts the build up in between the baffles and honey comb coils inside . Using just degrease and hot water only removes most of the exterior/surface build up of the filters .
Wished I worked at kitchens that cleaned this good tbh but now that I have my own cleaning company I can help change that for some restaurants thanks for this video

The problem with that is that it is so hard to keep a kitchen clean constantly because they either don't care or don't have the staff to keep up with demand. I have seen kitchens get like it was at the beginning of the video within a week or two and most won't assign someone to do deep cleaning unless higher ups come in or health inspectors are due to come in. Even when I was a manager people won't do it and you are stuck doing it.

What are those yellow Pipes connecting the grill and the gas line ? In my kitchen we don't have those so it's really hard to get to if you could tell me ware got them I'd really appreciate it .
Those are flexible gas lines, also called a range connect. They are available at hardware supply stores like Ace Hardware, Menards, Home Depot, Lowe’s, or your local hardware store. Be sure to use the correct size for the appliance. The instructions for installation should provide that information.

Hello, if you’re referring to the tray under the burners, I actually cover the tray with aluminum foil and change it on a daily basis, however, if you have grease build up that is hard to come off, I would use heavy duty degreaser (from GFS) - spray it, leave for around 5 minutes, then using soap, scrub with stainless steel sponge and rinse with water. Hope that helps!

To prevent the smell of gas when it’s turned on and for easier use when needed as we won’t need to turn constantly turn on/off the central gas during operation.
We clean range hoods on pizza places. We dump microfiber towels on degreaser mixed with water and then buff the inside to remove the burned fats and oils. Then, I take a new microfiber towel, dump it in water and buff the surface to remove the chemical degreaser. BUT, what can I do afterwards in order to NOT leave any water streaks ?
I did that kind of job for 5 years until the pandemic broke out and the kitchens I used to clean closed or limited the access to my company after that I lost those clients. It’s a really hot place, and the floors get too slippery so you need to be careful with a fall. In my experience I used rubber gloves, googles, and mask because of the degreasers are made of caustic substances and other chemicals that may damage your lungs overtime! 5 hours is a good time for one person working on his own in the case of the deep cleanings and this type of design.

Every restaurant I've worked in did it every day or every other day with a deep clean with a contractor at least once a year. My current boss insists that any cleaning is only needed twice a year. I am shocked at this

I shared this with my inlaws... They laughed and said waste of time and not money making activity. There a reason why i do not eat at their restaurant. They were so mad on chinese new year when i walked in with mcdonalds and at it there.
I just became a shift leader at a Pizza Hut whose walls haven’t been scrubbed in years. 3 weeks in and I haven’t gotten as far as I want but I’m getting one section clean at a time during each shift.
