    This Kundalini Meditation that we are gonna practice today couldn't be more relevant for me specifically right now. This is a meditation for self-love and I think it's an area where so many of us struggle. How do we cultivate more self-love? How do we take care of ourselves and prioritize our own self-care amidst being partners and parents so with this meditation with the Kundalini approach, you're going to be very specific mudras and enhanced positions which are goint to stimulate very specific nadis or energy centers from the subtle body to generate this feeling of self-affection and also just correct any maybe self-hate or negative feelings that are in our magnetic field.

    Thank you so much. By the end of this meditation I cried and realized how much resistance I had met in loving myself. I feel more at peace and can’t wait to practice with you again. Sat nam.

    Naturally I was dubious of this at the start, and it didn't sort out everything but when I said "I love you" and " I deserve love and effort" I believe it, and it has helped ease my mind with imposter syndrome and high expectations about what I should do and be.

    It's been 3 days that im doing this meditation , today my arm did not hurt me much , if not , i felt a huge relief , i felt that it's working ,im feeling a lot better after that meditation , thank you so much

    I really, really needed this. And the pain in my right arm, during the first mudra, only brought more clarity and focus. Thank you! :) Would love if you did one on self-respect, or setting boundaries. I feel like so many of us also find it difficult to say NO. This is my space. I respect myself enough to set healthy boundaries!

    I tried doing this a week ago when I first discovered your Kundalini yoga and meditation but I couldn't keep my arms up for more than 30 seconds. I tried again tonight because I had a hard therapy session and I pushed through all the way to the end! I felt like crying by the end andi doing even know why, that never happens during yoga or meditation for me. I'll definitely be doing it again soon.

    Remaining in love and blessings through the resistance wasn't hard, but keeping the arms up sure was! Whew. Kept having to put them down and come back, but i didn't have any other resistance other than physical!

    Thank you Brett. I'd definitely say this was the most powerful meditation yet. This practice seems to almost clear out the debris of the past, I guess the toxins that our bodies have accumulated over our lives. I've heard that other people have a lot of emotion coming up over stuff like that, but I'm mostly not feeling that. I think most of the time I'm pretty in touch and aware of my emotions, so would that somehow affect it? Maybe I don't let it come through enough in my life?

    I love your kundalini yoga meditations and noticed you do a lot of prenatal yoga too. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and wondered if there are any kundalini meditations for pregnancy? Thank you so much for posting :-)

    What to do if my hands are shaking... Once after first mudra?.. And if I drop my hands next?

      The goal is to try to hiold the mudra the whole time, trying to push through any discomfort. If you absolutely have to put your arms down, then please do so for a moment and come back into it. Shaking could be energy moving.

    Because I am left hand and my right arm is shorter, is it wrongly/bad if I use the left hand up to my head?

      Kundalini kriyas pretty much should be done as taught, You can always take breaks as needed! Thank you for practicing with me!!

    Hi Brett, I did this yesterday for 11 minutes and now my shoulder is hurting so bad, it feels like it's injured. Is this normal? Should I continue practizing despite the pain? I wanted to do this as a 40 day kriya, but now I'm scared it will completely damage my shoulder. .. also, in many Kundalini books it says, the arm should be up for 11 minutes. But I think in this video it's shorter. I guess shorter would be good for my shoulder. But will it have the same effect as 11 minutes? I'm a Kundalini newbie, love your videos, and would appreciate your advice. Thanks so much! Greetings from Germany! Jessica

      PS: Are there any other self love kriyas, that don't involve the shoulder that much? Thinking about a substitute, in case this is an injury .. thanks so much in advance for your help x

      Hi Jessica! It is ok to take breaks when you need to! Take a break, visualize doing it as you are resting, then come back to it. I have a ton of tips like this in the 40 Day Kriya course in the Uplifted membership!
