I love this set. I am having trouble with the instructions. I find them difficult to follow. What do you recommend?

Just keep the pieces that are floating in the air on the instructions of to the side and eventually they will reappear a few pages later. Really have to focus and imagine where the pieces are connected. Sometimes you have to be creative. Good luck.
