Just got my plates and stamper in the mail. After a few videos, I was able to do my first stamps. I'm hooked!
That is awesome! Have fun nail stamping! ❤
I figured out how to add colors to, sort of, color in my image!
After transferring the image to the silicone, I use my nail art brushes and stamping polishes to color in between the lines!! It looks fantabulous!
🎉
So glad I found your easy to follow but easy to follow video. Your extra tips covered mistakes my first try. I've had things nearly a year having no idea how to proceed
Glad it was helpful!
I'm ordering know my grand daughter go have fun 😆
Excellent! This is a perfect video to start! Thank you so much 🥰
Glad it was helpful!
I for the life of me can’t get this to work and I’m SUPER bummed about it! You make it look so easy here. I bought like 4 plates and planned to use one for my back to school nails (I’m a teacher) but I haven’t gotten it to work at all as I practice. What the heck am I doing wrong? I can’t get my image on the stamper at all.
Hi Danyel, we would love to help you troubleshoot. 💅 The best way for us to help is if you can send us a video showing us how you are currently stamping. You can DM us or email us at support@maniology.com so we can better assist you with how you can improve your stamping game. Oftentimes, it just takes a slight tweak in technique before everything falls into place! 🥰
That's so cool! You made it look so easy! 😊
Thank you! 😊 Different people have different learning curves, and we're here to help you every step of the way!
Thank you for this tutorial. I can’t wait to try again. Tyfs🥰
-brand new. Watched a video from This Southern girl and am so stocked to try this!!
Thank you!
I have just learned of your channel. I thank Amber so much!! Really wish I had known of Maniology much sooner. I am subscribed and belled for all notifications 😀. Thank you so much.
Welcome aboard!
Hi. Thank you for all you show us!! God Bless
You are so welcome
do you have a video where you show how you get the excess polish off your finger... could use tips on that
You can use tape! A bit of scotch tape will remove polish off your finger. For any detailed work, a nail art brush dipped in acetone remover will remove polish on your skin as well.
Great introduction !
Super cool nail stamps! I've always wanted to learn how to do this and feature on my beauty page on IG would be cool to with a Christmas ⛄🎄 theme!
You can do it!
How do you add different colors to your stamp?
ie: A colored in image rather than just an outline?
The technique is called Reverse Stamping, you can learn more about it here: ua-cam.com/video/wca-xfbITDY/v-deo.html 💅🏼💟
@@Maniology Thank you so very much for the link! It helped a lot by giving me some tips & hints about how to make the designs much better!
Ty!
Thank you for the how-tos! I'm new to nail stamping, and I have a quick question. What if I don't like the image after it lands on my nail? You know, i don't like the color or the image in real life, or i made a mistake in application like smudging the image... that kind of thing. How can I remove it without damaging the layers of dip and topcoat that I worked so hard to perfect?
Great question Flo and welcome to the land of nail stamping! LOL. Personally, I've never used dip powder but I'm familiar with the products. I'm a gel product user. If you are an avid dip user my recommendation would be this - once you are satisfied with your base or background color, seal or encapsulate the base with gel top coat, you'll need a UV or LED light for this. This will make for a durable barrier between the dip and the stamped design. If you don't like the stamped design and would like to take it off, I'd recommend using a nail polish remover, rather than a 100% acetone, as the 100% acetone will start to melt away your gel and dip powder with excessive use. The nail polish remover normally has less acetone in it. Unfortunately, there is no fool proof way to erase just the top layer when using regular polish, wish there was. You'd have to start all over again. I hope this helps.
That seems to be easy to do. Is it that easy?
What blue is this? I NEED it! 😍😍😍
It's Mercury Bassline from the Electro Glo: 6-Piece Electric Pastel Stamping Art Polish Set 🥰🥰
what color pink did you use to stamp on top of the blue?
Hi Lucy! It's Flashdance (B284). 😊
I came to this video via site link about Sticky Base Coat. Are you using it in this video??
Hi! Sorry we did not use that in this video. We'll have to check on that. Sticky base coat is formulated to grip on to stamps, powders, glitters, and loose foils for long-lasting wear. Perfect for reverse stamping, our Sticky Base Coat remains tacky for longer periods of time (compared to regular base coats) and transforms into a clean, non-adhering base when dry.
Can you use any polish ? And uv gel Polish?
Hi Ruby, stamping polish will work best as they are formulated for such a purpose. However, regular polishes might sometimes work too depending on the formula and opacity. Try with polishes you own that are opaque in 1 coat and they should work.
You can stamp on top of your completed gel manicure. After you are done stamping, just topcoat with your usual gel top coat and cure a final time. Here's a video showing you how it's done: ua-cam.com/video/mnisleLQ0cU/v-deo.html
What is the difference between stamping polish and normal gel polish? Can I use normal gel polish if I don’t have stamping gel.
Hi! You can stamp on top of your completed gel manicure. However, you can't use gel polish as the stamping polish. Gel polish does not transfer to the stamper correctly. You can use regular stamping polish to stamp. After you are done stamping, just topcoat with your usual gel top coat and cure a final time.
@@Maniology thank you so much for replying
I like the first nail plate shown, M107. Is that available for purchase?
Sorry, it looks like that plate has been discontinued.
@@Maniology Thank you for letting me know.
Should I store the stamping plates in the sleeve it comes with or is it fine to just have them all together outside of the sleeve for storage?
Both options are perfectly fine! But you can always get a plate organizers. You can choose from our cute designs here maniology.com/search?type=product&q=organizers
Can these be used over dip polish nails? Can these be used with gel polish, and which top coat can be used?
Hello Busyaries, nail stamping definitely can work with other system. We know some of our customers do that but we're no experts in those areas. I believe you should be able to search for some YT tutorial about this. Good luck and have an awesome day.
If you have clear dip powder you can encapsulate your stamping! Yay who knew. Marla Kris has a video on it if you care to watch. She’s my girl for anything dip related! Love maniology, but I also love dip! Good luck
You make it look so easy.. really frustrated. Purchased everything from your company and watched so many videos but will not pick up.. not sure what I am missing.., 😢

What kind of top coat?
She used a Smudge Free Top Coat! :)
I have a cube stamper that used to be perfect but now is super sticky. It sticks to everything. If I wash it it will work for one nail maybe. Does anyone else have this problem.
I live in Pacific NW so temps rarely hit the 80's. Although this year summer started a little earlier than August. Lol
Hi Jinde. Have you tried just laying your stamper on top of a paper or tissue and just let the oil flow out of the stamper? Hope this helps!
@@Maniology I will try that thx
Someone just threw out a lot of your products! My husband found them in the garbage. He thinks that the owner was locked out of their home and then robbed. What should I do with all of it?
Hi Marina, we appreciate your concern. Please email us at support@maniology.com and send the photos of the package so we can track and reach out to the customer. Thank you!
@@Maniology It's not a package.
My stamper doesn't pick anything up. 😣
HI Desiree, sorry to hear that you are having issues getting started with stamping! One of the most common problems we see with the stamper not picking up polish is pressing too hard/too long on the stamper or over scraping. If you feel like you are pressing down like using a rubber stamp, you are using way too much force! On a scale of 1-10, the pressure should be a 1, just barely touching the plate with a quick rolling motion. Here's a live video showing how stamping pressure affects the outcome of your stamp: ua-cam.com/video/d88NVRcISxY/v-deo.html
Scrape the polish away from the plate just once or twice gently. If you are scraping repeatedly or too forcefully, you will remove too much polish for a proper pickup. Be sure you are cleaning the plate in between use with 100% acetone only as using other types of removers will leave a residue on your plate affecting your pick up. Hope this helps!
@@Maniology I figured it out! I got some acetone to clean my plates and will be working on my technique.
