I use the Maniology plates and polish, so I don't know if it makes a difference, but if you're using a highly pigmented nail polish you should only need one brush of nail polish at the top of the image, that way you only need to scrape once. Roll your stamper over the image as soon as possible to ensure the best pickup. Scraping multiple times gives it more time to dry and increases your chances of a bad pickup
You just opened up a whole new range of colours for me to use! Thanks for the great tutorial ❤
You are so welcome! 💕
To maintain your rainbow gradients, you need to scrape on the diagonal or you'll just keep blending your colours.
Thank you for the tip! ☺️
Any other tips Saintly2
@@jenpierce2385 SO many!!! 😆😆 Don’t get me started!
@@jenpierce2385 One major one! She was doing a good job generally, but she was working *very* slowly for stamping ☺️ to make sure you get all your image picked up correctly, you need to work FAST! As soon as the polish starts to dry slightly, it won’t pick up properly. Especially if the room is warm/the lights are warm. You swap one skill for another with stamping: if you’re not great at freehand art or don’t have that amount of time to spend with each client, you swap freehand skills for speed! Not all freehand artists can be great at stamping for this reason - they’re not always used to working lightning fast 😂🤦🏼♀️ so if you aren’t great at freehand, you need to be good at being fast 😝💗
@@TallulahFoxxx thank you
This is the first video that thoroughly explains how to use these products well enough that someone like myself who is completely brand new to all of this, now knows precisely what and how to apply, clean, and design successfully. After watching many, many videos to teach myself how to use the stamper, etc I am very happy to have found this one. You would think a lot of this shit is self explanatory, but it isn't. So thanks! I've subscribed to your channel, too. 🤗
Thank you so much! I’m glad I was able to help in any way ☺️
@Kate is right!!! I had to learn the hard way years ago. This video shows what I was doing wrong. I tried it and nails came out beautiful without making a messy nightmare. I am Ver happy too 😅
thanks for this idea! i was literally just looking at stamping polishes and didnt wanna spend the money. definitely gonna try this out first.
I have a feeling I'm going to blow some Minds in My Nail Group!! Thanks so much for this. I have SO many sharpies but not many stamping colors
😂 Glad I can help. 🥰
@@xpressnailsstore….Wow!!! This is a very smart and creative idea!!!! Your nails in the video are sooo pretty!!!! Will this work on long natural nails? And could you do a video on HOW TO PUT ON RHINESTONES?

I was just going to say the same thing! Omg! I have so many s
Sharpies!
I know that this is old but you just saved me a lot of work and stress over my nails 💅🏻 thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this in very detailed explanations, using products that all us broke girls can use!
😂 Aww you’re welcome. Glad I could help. 🥰 I’m a broke girl too 🙋🏽♀️😆
Love this video! Using the lint roller is pure genius ! Thank you for sharing.
I love this, I’m gonna have to try this out. A little tip is to move the stamper side to side when picking up designs, instead of pushing straight down. This will pick up the design a lot better. 😁
Thank you for the tip! I noticed that now, that that is a better way to pick up 😂🙈🥰
It’s not that the plates aren’t etched, it’s that you’re taking too long to pick it up and it’s drying. After you scrape you want to pick it up extremely quick or it starts to dry. They seem etched well. If you can feel it when you run your hand over it, it’s etched enough. Just try picking it up quicker since stamping polish dries within a few seconds and the circle one you took like 5-7 second to pick up between grabbing your stamper, the nail, scraping twice etc and it had dried a significant amount in that time
Thank you! I’m definitely picking up a lot faster these days 😆🙈
@@xpressnailsstore do you feel like it works better for you now that you started to pick up faster?! It took me so long to learn that because i couldn’t believe it dried that fast! I always scrape with stamper in hand and literally scrape and roll in the same motion so quickly just to be safe 😂 but I see so many people struggle with stamping and idk what I did to get it right but I’m so happy because I absolutely love stamping lol!
Oh my goodness! What a great summer vibe!
My fave combo was the first one, the Malibu sunset one. It's so beautiful!! 😊 what an incredibly creative mind u have to mix eye shadows on your nails! ❤
Thank you so much!
Very interesting technique. I love seeing stuff like this.
This is a great trick! I don’t have a lot of colors to stamp with but I have a whole set of sharpies so this is great for me.
I love it! Definitely going to try it!
So darn cute! Thanks for this!!
What a neat idea!
It’s such a fun technique. I’ve never been able to get it to work, but it comes out so pretty.
Give it another try 😊
What! That is so cool thank you for sharing.

Of course! Have fun. ☺️
Wow!! This is so cool. I will definitely try it out!!
Yes! Give it try. Thank you for watching 🥰
Thank you so much for this great idea! I have so many sharpies. This made it so much easier to just shade in a little color here and there where I want it, instead of trying to dab drops of color with paint!! I just go back over with a clear coat, instead of the white if I want those exact colors to come through. But honestly I do like the effects of the white also. BTW Nice call on the Lisa Frank design❣️. 😄
Soooo cool! Thanks
They came out great but I think it would be even better if you used black stamping polish for the black nails and flood the polish at the top of the design and scrape just once. That way you don’t “mix” the sharpie with the polish. But such a clever technique thank you for sharing it with us!
I'm all in! That is the coolest!
Wow that's super cute & love it. Thanks so much for sharing😍 💅🏾
Thank you for watching 🥰
Thank you so much. What a great technique!!
Thank you for watching ☺️
How CLEVER!!! Well Done!

Omg I love this so much! Beautiful! Just started getting into stamping and looking for inspo. This is the best beauty video I've seen in a very long time. Thank you for this! And you saved me a ton of money because I did NOT want to purchase a bunch of colors.

Fantastic idea 💡 ❤
WOW!!! Love it, thanks. I want to try this soon. Thank you soooo much
You’re welcome and thank you 😊
I finally took the plunge to buy a stamper and came with one plate. I want to buy more eventually but first learn how to use it. To my surprise when I try to pick up the print it won't transfer to stamper 😒 any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Hi, and thanks for nice video!
Earlier today I found myself using too much time with the lint roller on the stamping head ( removing excess motif), so I turned to my scraping card instead, and that worked WAY better for me 8)
Wow!!! Beautiful ❤Ty for the great video
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it ☺️
That was totally awesome 🎉😂
THANK YOU so much for this stamping is so frustrating tome and this is so much easier.
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Such an awesome idea ❣️ Thanks for sharing and detailed video 😍
Wow... it is a great idea to play with colors when you actually don't have stamping colors. Another thing which I liked very much is we can use simple nail polish also. I mean to say it is not compulsory to have stamping polish as I understood after watching this video. I think I'm not wrong.
Excellent tutorial!!💅🏽
Thank you!! 😊
im doing it as u are doing it thank u so much very helpful
what if you dont have stamp polish what can i use
I have a lot of alcohol and water based markers (not sharpies) I use for other art projects so I think I will try those and see how it goes. Thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you for sharing this video and showing us different ways to stamp. I enjoyed watching. 🙂You did very well. As it is your first time stamping. The colours you created was fantastic.
Thank you so much!
That’s is so kewl! 💜🌻✌🏻
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the sharpie and lint roller idea.
Happy to help! ☺️

That's so cool!!! I haven't been stamping because I'm so limited in colors!
This is definitely a good alternative to start with 😊
You have got to be kidding me ! Game Changer ! Thanks
You’re welcome! 😊
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 love it. Cool Idea.
Went out n bought me some sharpies today... been putting it off but you inspired me😊😊😊
These are awesome! I liked the Louie one before you finished the end, it gave it a nice French tip.
Thank you! Oh! I see that now. Maybe I should give it another go and leave it as a French 😆🥰
I really liked that as well, sometimes less is more 🥰
I love this!! I only have gel polish (regular, stamping and art gel)... I'll try this and see what works
Thank you! And have fun 🤩
Love it. You are a pro👏

Yessssssss!❤
I am going to try it
You can/could always just toss a gemstone or little cute nail accessories over on top, covering the missing slight imperfections up 🫂🤷🏻♀️💯 and they’re still beautiful and completely not even noticeable… those are all def gorgeous!!- love them all! Also… you’re only supposed to scrape over it one time and one time only- this helps with the not pulling out too much of the product, from inside the etched design- just a halpful tip I learned through experience… no over scraping, work quickly, typically roll the jelly stamper more so then placing it directly downward and back up straight… little tips and tricks like those most def helped me out immensely my very beginning to my maniology kits/stamping sets and plates- at least with their own matching polishes, ofc. Idk if maybe the company yours are from are exactly-exactly perfectly the same and matching maniologies products or not but- as for general tips at least- those are some of the more main ones other than cleaning the stampers and plates prior to using them at all, the first time, etc 🫰🏻🖤🫂😘💯🥰🤗
Oooo the realms of possibilities you have opened for me! Thanks for sharing! New subscriber here ❤️
You’re so welcome! And welcome to my little nail family 🥰
Ty for this nifty idea.
