The thing that no one mentions that is CRUCIAL: use light pressure when scraping and stamping! It will not work no matter what you do otherwise. You also don’t need stamping polish. Not all polish will work, but a lot will.

Instead of applying acetone directly to the skin, which can be drying, especially after repeated use - instead apply a barrier cream, gel, solution, or latex to the area in advance. This will prevent (or at least minimise) transfer of the stamp to the skin, and many can be easily and gently peeled off without any discomfort.
Just make sure you're following your MSM and contraindication checks for compliance, and to choose the correct one for your client.

There are different stamper heads for different firmness and stickiness. Give them all a try to see which best works for you!

You can try with regular polish that you have that is opaque in 1 coat. However, stamping specific polishes will give you the best color payout and results.

I have the exact same one you have but I always have a problem when i scrape it smears and then I try to apply it to the nail stamper it won't even go on rare times when it does it won't apply to my nail please tell me what I'm doing wrong
+Dominique Kaufman Make sure you are using a stamping polish which will give you better results in stamping. Also, you need to move quickly to pick up the image and then stamp on the nail. If you wait too long in between, the polish might dry in between and won't transfer properly.
What kind of surface? Gel paint cured without wiping? Wipe? Top coat? Matte top coat? What surface works best?

You can experiment with different surfaces like a regular top coat, matte top coat or stamp on a completely cured nails to see what works best for your specific stamping technique and desired outcome. Feel free to explore and find the surface that suits your preferences and achieves the results you desire! :)

Great tips, worked well with regular polish. If anyone is looking for an affordable way to start this, I got a stamping set from Wish for $2.50. 😄
Is the stamping polish necessary? I have the other things but would regular polish work and transfer to the stamper?
You would have to test out which regular polishes would work for you...With our stamping polishes they are the best bet to getting a consistent stamp pickup and transfer. Hope that clarifies!

I know nail stampers should be come with the kit but what happens when the stampers do not work? I've bought two different stamping kits and the stampers themselves refuse to pickup the polish, not even a smudge! Maybe I'm missing something? Or does it have to do with the polish brand? I use Sally Hansen Insta-Dry which I've read is recommended and I've even cleaned the stamper with warm water, so what am I doing wrong?
I see a lot of rectangle stamping plates like the one you're using. I have round ones and they don't work as like the ones I see on UA-cam. Is one better than the other?
Hi Mischelene, Good question! One shape of the plate versus the other does not affect the outcome of the stamp. It' could be the type of polish being used in either plate is where the issue may lay. I have stamping polish that is my I'm confused. Do you like the big squishy Stamper? I see a lot of UA-camrs use those.
