Well most enemies don’t celebrate the same holidays. All kind of a waste since they went back to killing each other later. As a war veteran I would just prefer to killing my enemy till it is time to go home than than a temporary truce. Just saying. Nothing personal, just war. I am sure under different circumstances I could have been friends with my enemies since but life isn’t always sunshine, unicorns and rainbows.

Every time I think about this or read about it, it touches me in a way no other story or event ever has, the feeling it gives me has no words. It is nuts to think in one of the largest wars in human history, a common idea of a holy holiday can bring enemies close, and silence the ever thundering weapons of war.
I can’t comprehend how they could come together like this face to face and have normalcy then go right back to slaughtering each other days, weeks, months, and years later.

@@gonzalocastillo6489 Well... I buy expensive lego custom minifigs from The Minifig Co, United Bricks, Brickmania and other companies. When I make smth about WW2 I also buy smth cheap from China but chineese guys they dont make any minifigures for WW1 so there is no other option - only expensive figs from those companies.

It's amazing that christmas can stop even war. It's so wholesome and reveals that we are all still humans inside.
