It's coming along, the latest changes are very impressive, promising progress. Fateless isn't just selling a game, they're also supposedly trying to be better in terms of player treatment, less egregious monetization etc. I don't know if the timeline is typical, but some of the things they've highlighted make me wonder if they could've been further along on characters if they weren't pursuing things that could be sorted afterwards. The original combat system, breakaway scenery, modular level concept/ implementation etc.
