Just ordered the Nitro Mesh kit, using Garage Band for over a year, excited to use them together.
Thanks for the video.🖖
That's great, hope you have fun and make some awesome music!
I have connected GarageBand through midi bluetooth. However. There’s a delay of sound in my earphones and also how to may crash sound of ride as it is not taking
Thank you !!!
I bought my kit a week ago a love it. I haven’t full set it up yet. I don’t want to jump right in without knowing what I’m doing so I’m researching as much as I can before I start.
My point of this comment is to just thank you for the videos about this kit. I’m a beginner and you give me the information in a way I understand easily.
glad to help!
Sounds like a real accoustic kit using garage band indeed
Ordered alesis nitro mesh kit by watching ur videos .. Thanks it really helped me 🇮🇳
Many thanks for the helpful videos on the Nitro Mesh kit. Actually, the Nitro does trigger the half open HH position. You notice it when get the occasional mystery drum note closing the HH, which I mistook for crosstalk at first. There’s no dedicated light button (as with toms and snare..etc.) but you can can change its MIDI assignment by triggering the middle position on the HH pedal. By default it’s assigned to #23. That said, in GB, there aren’t any voices that work directly with that setting, so you can set it to open or close instead. #23 is silent on some kits, which can lead tapping futilely on the HH with no sound, so don’t leave it blank.
Thanks, that's useful information
Wow - all I can say is I’m REALLY impressed! Thank you for sharing that. I have not played drums in awhile and would like to get back into it and your videos are inspirational
Wow, thank you!
I switched to an iPhone 13 Pro when it came out and it blew my mind. GarageBand on my phone has taken SO much of my time. Haha
I think I’m going to switch to a Mac and get logic.
Came for the review and stayed for the song, good work man!
thank you!
Perfect, just what I was looking for. Nice song mate, well done..
“The only way to find out is to try it” that’s right my friend. That applies to many aspects of life. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing the idea. I’ll try it with my Roland TD-1KV and iPhone SE.
@MatthewWinne did it work?
Awesome job! I have alesis nitro as well and trying to figure out how to hook my garage band up to the kit off of an iPhone 8... I’m new to this i’m not sure exactly what I’m doing but this video has helped me realize what I have and don’t have and how to, I just have to get the Apple lightning USB adapter....the USB audio adapter interface... wish me luck! Once again great job I really enjoyed your work!
Glad I could help!
Woah! Thanks a bunch! I recently haha bought a lot of expensive Apple stuff and I must say that ...the interface does helps a lot for musicians, THANKS!
my nitro kit is coming in two days I cant wait to get inspired by your futur videos
What ever you do be aware of the t-handle clamps that tighten the pads to the frame if you tighten them they crack and fall apart. As you adjust the pads to your angle.
This video rocks!!! Saved the day for me! Using a Alesis DM5. Thanks!
Great vids! A good workaround for the hihat is to leave it connected (along with the pedal controller) to the Alesis module and simply mix the audio output with the audio output of the iPhone to your monitor rig. That way you’ll get the full articulations of the hat (al beit not the GB sounds for just the hihat).
Despite the hihat midi notes not being recorded in GB, this workaround is good for a live scenario. In the event that you’re trying to record while playing the Alesis kit, you can go back to the midi editor and simply manually input the hihat notes later. Cheers!
the lightning to usb cable is only $10 on amazon and thats the actual apple brand so thats nice
I like the song. It has a sort of The Cure vibe. Awesome work.
The toms were AMAZING to my taste. The snare? ....ehh... but not horrible. Still better than the stock sounds on my 2box
Sounds great. Nice drumming too.
Great demo..i have this kit..just got a new kick pedala and will be running my kit in an iRig into garage band...the sound is really so much better...still cant get ghost notes consistently..but still a great kit.
Very cool!
Great video, thanks for posting!
Love the song that you produced
you can look for a "clip on piezo pick up" for acoustic guitar or another type of acoustic guitar pick up that has the TRS male and connect it to the module and use it as additional cymbal or tom.
Why not just use actual drum triggers?
@@demonicsweaters well. An additional cymbal or the additional tom may be more expensive, I have that kit and got an additional cymbal on ebay and one of those clip pick up as a cowbell or vibraslap, it works well. Not saying it better but it do the job as additional input.
@@demonicsweaters sometimes I program it with a tambourine sound and clip it on one of the cymbals and when hit the cymbal, the vibration hit the.clip and it make a cool sound effect, both sounding at the same time.
Great job. I’m getting a DM6. Hope it works with iPhone but if not I’m still good with just using as is
Great video man! Just one question: do you feel some lag playing and hearing from this iOS setup?
Victor Lima no I don't actually
Victor Lima, I just got all of my equipment set up and I came to ask the same question. There is a ton of latency in the recording I did. So much that it sounds nothing like what I played. If you find a solution, would you mind posting it and I will do the same.
Victor Lima, I took my iPhone out of the equation and went MIDI into my MacBook and there is zero latency. I’m still interested in getting the IOS version to work so I will continue to mess with the settings and trying to figure that out.
@@alexrose0829 Any luck figuring this out? I'm having the exact same latency issue on iOS and it is driving me nuts! Everything works perfectly except recording. The playback is all messed up. If you have a solution, please let me know!
A.J. Rodriguez unfortunately, I have not been able to reduce the latency in the IOS setup. My advice, eliminate the phone and go MIDI to USB into your computer and use whatever DAW you have.
Thanks for the vids man. I just got my recording stuff and have no clue how this stuff works lol. I was an acoustic drummer that switched to electric due to space issues and ease of recording. Thanks for the help with this vid.
Great!! I have an Alesis Crimson II, but the hi-hat open in the garageband doesn't work, it doesn't even reproduce the sound when I lift the left pedal…. how do you programs them?
Great info and great song! Thank you!
That was nice. Loved the feel.
Thank you!
Dude where are u located? I want to jam with you LOL..You have given me a lot of info from day 1. Love this.
Great job! I like the song
Thanks for the informative video. New drummer here. Guys, the GB setup works. Sounds better than the module hi-hat sounds. I use the SoCal kit. If the GB volume is too low, you can increase it in Track Settings (in GB) along with other various settings. Also, have GB run in the background so you can switch tabs to play along to drumless tracks on UA-cam. Sometimes my HH doesn’t trigger after opening and closing so I’m gonna try what another person suggested in the comments. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. Has anyone had any experience hooking this up to the Strike 8 amp? Would GB still function the same if I had the headphones disconnected and just run the amp? Thanks.
I guess we will find out soon. I'm ordering a cable to connect my iPad to my alesis command with a usb-b to lightning. I'm already connected to a simmons 2112 so I'm hoping it plays like normal out of the amp
@@TXbeats62 it works?
I also changed a midi setting in my nitro mesh for the rim, it's recorded as another snare shot in GarageBand
Oh nice! Have you ever tried plugging in the add on triggers to see if they trigger anything?
I have not tried the crash and Tom add on yet, now that you mention it, I think they don't have equivalent midi in GarageBand as the kits in GarageBand only have one crash and one floor Tom, maybe assign it to a ride bell by setting the midi in the nitro module
LOVE the ride sounds
Very informative !! Thanks! I own a Alesis Turbo kit and have just ordered a Nitro for Xmas !
Any ideas on how I can combine the two ! Great tune and playing by the way !👍🏾🎶🥁
Is there something I’m doing wrong? Mine won’t even process that there’s a device connected
Only thing that’s different is the usb hub I bought doesn’t have a spot on the side for me to plug the lightning port into it so I plug it into a port on to. And I’m also trying this on an iPhone se. it’ll only play through the speakers for about 10 seconds then cut out. Won’t play through headphones even with the usb audio adapter. I also have a steinberg ur12 interface that I’m not sure how to connect to.
This song is fire!!!!
Wow!
That's great.
i will do that to my Alesis too
👍👍
You seem to be the resident Alesis Nitro expert around the internet so I'm wondering if you have any thoughts at all on what would be causing latency on garageband when recording. I can play along to songs live and play live within garageband with no problems whatsoever, but as soon as I hit record, everything is a jumbled mess. Nothing even close to the smooth experience you have in this video. I've tried using a MIDI connection and USB, same result. Any thoughts or ideas?
is it an older iPhone?
Hey, thanks for the vid. I was wondering if i really need the official apple lighning to USB adapter, or i can just use my phone's cable - which is lightning - and use a simple female usb to female usb converter, then plug the hub on it. Do you think it would work?
Worth a shot, but probably not haha.
Your videos are always great. Will garage band work just by plugin de jack 3.5? Or I need the midi? Have an IPhone 11 too
iPhone 11 does not have a 3.5 jack. You may be able to get it to work with and adapter.
Man, I’m trying to do this exact same thing because I hate how the kit sounds but it isn’t working.
I’m using an M1 iPad Pro, I got a USB hub, headphones are plugged, the kit is plugged with USB, but when I hit my drums I can only hear my kit, not the iPad kit.
Even hitting my pads won’t register on the iPad. I don’t want to record. I just want to play for fun bypassing those awful electronic Alesis sounds.
Did you plug the headphones into the Ipad? I made that mistake of not doing that xD
But now I have the problem that the connection between my alesis and garageband breaks after only a minute of playing. An powered usb hub didnt solve it for me
you a blessin bro , but how did you record the video did real time or you did the editing after recording it,
I sync it up afterwards in my video editor
Was the usb audio interface necessary? Can I just plug in my headphones directly into the module?
Sure, but how are you going to hear your iPhone? ;)
Demonic Sweaters oh ok was wondering cause I just got my set today. Set up 2 trigger pads I had from an old Ddrum kit and yea.works dope! ordered everything from the video except the audio interface. I have an irig so I’ll just try and see how I make it work.
Love your videos. Tons of help really.
When I connect the Nitro Mesh Kit with Garageband, can I get the ride bell sound by hitting the spot?
You could set it to trigger bell only, but not two zones
I can only record it in audio not drums cause it doesnt respond on drums
What do i do
To be able to listen you should have just plugged your headphones to the phone’s headphone out …if it has one lol not familiar with the iPhones now.
really keen on the nitro but seeing complaints about the rim being super tall ( which it really seems so from the intro ) I'm unsure whether the surge or nitro is better. I am just starting out so don't wanna learn bad habits when I play an acoustic.
It might seem bad but i feel like it helps me become more accurate the faster you go.
Makes it so that you cant be sloppy with your hit placements
Quick question... when I plugged my Nitro using USB, I get a extra ride cymbal sound when I hit the snare drum instead of the snare sound.
You need to adjust the Snare MIDI note output, see the missing manual here to learn how to do it demonicsweaters.com/2019/06/alesis-nitro-mesh-kit-complete-list-of-drum-sounds-and-missing-manual/
@@demonicsweaters I’m assuming this would apply the same for the kick drum trigger? I’m getting everything except the kick trigger is giving me a closed house hat sound. I’ll download the manual but just confirming that’s the same issue as mentioned above?
nice groove man!
Thanks Claudio
thank you very much
hi man.. im from brazil and i thinking buy one.. your videos are greats.. thanks for share..
Bruno Barreto glad you find them helpful:)
Great drumming
thank you!
Justin you da man!!
Hey Justin, great video love magic tree! Sorry if you already answered this, but could I use this setup to output/play live through speakers/amps instead of the headphones??
yep
Need more information on the cords I need to buy
Mine isn't closing the hats. It's just open. Any ideas?
Thanks for this video. In your set up, what are your headphones plugged into? Where does the sound for the track come from? I'm a total noob and am trying to get this set up for my 9 year son.
I'm using a small usb audio device for the headphones and a powered USB hub. The detailed answers to all of those questions are in this video.
Cool video I have always wanted to know how it works. Cause we have some older iOS devices might try it sometime. Cause Garageband is a DAW and VST in one actually right?
VST is a plugin technology from Steinberg, but I think I understand you're asking if GarageBand has plugins? Yes it does. It has some built-in, and you can add UV3 plugins that can be found in the app store. GarageBand iOS is a DAW that is actually pretty unique since it features a lot of instruments that can be played right on the touchscreen of the device. You can also control these instruments from a midi controller, which is what I'm doing with my drum set here. You can also record audio and mix it with the midi tracks.
@@demonicsweaters thanks for the answer. It is cool cause it already has some instruments in it. I was thinking about trying it out with an iPad and I would have to use my usb to midi cable to hook it up I think it would work!! Thank you again for your reply!!
Yeah there’s tons of great instruments built in to GarageBand. Hope it works for you!
@@demonicsweaters hello. just got a surge and found your videos. i’ve been learning so much, so thank you.
my question is, what is the purpose of the powered usb connector, in this video? i’m not understanding it. could you not plug from camera connection kit straight to the iphone to drums & have it work? and for the headphones. why wouldn’t you just use them in their normal spot on the set? thank you
Super helpful video! How do you put the track/song you play with the drum sounds on gb? Hoping to use GB to make covers
You will have to first get an MP3 of whatever song you're trying to do, then save it on your icloud, then import it into garageband.
Did you doctor the midi capture at all after you played the kit? My ghost notes are just about as loud as the others going into GarageBand, which isn't the case when I utilize the Alesis module.
no, I didn't change anything. Maybe take a look at your sensitivity settings in the module.
@@demonicsweaters I'll take a look. It's quite sensitive when I play the module directly, but the GarageBand sounds are definitely preferable on a recording. Perhaps I can expand that more and it will translate more fully on the GarageBand side. Thanks for the lead!
Hi,
I have the exact same setup as you. Nitro mesh kit and an iPhone 11, have even tried it through my iPad. The latency is extreme in GarageBand when I record and it doesn`t pick up all the beats from my drumset. Do you have any idea of what`s wrong?
Having the same problem. Any updates?
Nice video really appreciate all the vids you’ve been posting about the alesis mesh kit. One question; can you just plug headphones into the module or do you need the separate adapter at 5:20?
Trying to figure this out myself. I bought everything he said to buy. I’m not getting any audio back into my headphones, but my phone is recording.
If you plug directly into the module you'll only hear your drums. You need the audio adapter to hear what you're playing to.
Ah I see. I had an old wired headset power cord I was trying to use but not getting and sound back through my headphones. I guess I’ll go ahead and order the adapter from Amazon
I just got my audio adapter and tried to plug it it and still can’t get it going! It records on my playing into GarageBand on their kits but I can’t hear the GarageBand kits through my headphones, just the alesis kit sounds!
I’ve plugged in midi to camera connector to iPhone, and audio adaptor to headphone but nothing! Can you please tell me exactly where you’re plugging your cords? I’m seriously stupid with this stuff and would REALLY appreciate the help!! Thanks!!!
@@ViC8o5 have you figured it out yet?
Would love to know where I can find this song... turned out great man!!
Thank you, here you go drive.google.com/file/d/1JAP3OMuSkFzb-7UXym9JsElh6k31LbYx/view?usp=sharing
Could you just go lightning to usb right to the drum module? And skip the usb hub? Then plug headphones into the drum module?
I talk about this in the video. You won't hear anything on the phone by doing that.
Hi, Justin! Thanks for your videos, man! Very helpful! I got my Nitro Mesh and this GarageBand setup as well.
I'm just having trouble playing along with songs. If I play something on Spotify for example, it'll be much louder than the GarageBand drum sound and I can't control individually the volume since it's the same control for everything on iPad.
Would you have any solutions for that? It's my first e-kit so I have no clue... Thank you!
hmmm, not really, ios doesn't have a mixer function. But if your ipad has a headphone jack, you can plug it directly into the nitro module and use the build in nitro sounds and listen through the nitro's headphone output.
Demonic Sweaters, how about the other ports on the module? Do you think there's a way to make it work using any of those? Thanks!
Really like your song :)
vey good tutorial and music! i don´t speck english very well... i have two cuestion: 1) i have i Alesis Surge totaly new (basicaly the same of Nitro mesh) and I have a problem with the pedal of the HitHat, do you have a video to explain to use correctly de Hit Hat? 2) the music is your or is a Template of the App? thank you from Spain
there's nothing special you need to do, just plug it in and use it. There's only 3 sounds on the Surge/Nitro hi hat. Open, closed, half-open.
@@demonicsweaters but i’ m talking about the Pedal, doesn’t work good…it is too strong/rigidity and so no good feelings :(. Thanks u
Is there any way to record straight from the module? I like the reverb settings and would prefer the over the garage band triggers. I cannot for the life of me figure it out!
Run from the quarter inch line outputs on the back of the module to an audio interface or mixer like this one amzn.to/2WBa7zM
Once you hook up garage band to get better sounds, is it possible to open UA-cam on the same iPad and play along with the garage band kit? Is this easy or nah?
No thats not possible. You could however import an audio file into GarageBand and play along there
@@demonicsweaters what a deal breaker 😔 you every tried hooking up garage band and a second audio device like a phone
Whats the powered usb for
Hi is it ok to skip the powered usb hub and go straight from the alesis module to your phone?
Hello there, what a helpful video thank you. I have the alesis Surge which is the same module. I'd like to know how to play a backing track to drum along to. Is that possible at all?
Thank you in advance x
You plug in another device into the module, plug it into the aux section and play the backing track on the device you plugged in
Welcome to Apple :)
The only big issue I have with electronic drums is when you play with out head phones you hear the stick hit the rubber pads for cymbals. And you hear the stick hit the mesh drum pads. Seperate from the real sound of the drums so it TEND to distract you
Hey there, thanks for the video. Do you happen to know if it's possible to isolate the kicks, snare, toms and high-hats whilst playing it live? Basically, like a multi-output option similar to how Kontakt does it etc.
no, but you'd never need to. You can adjust levels of all the drums within the module and just run a stereo out to the mixer.
Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Got my mesh kit on the way, you've definitely sold me on this kit! Do you know if you can change the module on these kits?
it depends on what you're changing it to. The cable that comes with the kit is a combined cable on the module side, so you would need to find one that has a similar input (other alesis?) or a module that has multiple inputs and use new cables.
@@demonicsweaters Thanks for the reply, good to know! I already have presonus studio one. Would you recommend getting ezdrummer and using studio one, or garage band?
Hi! I’m playing an Alesis Turbo on Garageband. However, when I play it doesn’t recognize the closed Hi-Hat.
No matter if I hold the pedal, It sounds Open Hi-Hat only.
What can I do?
Probably not much you can do. Maybe check out Steven Slate Drums free edition
This is what I should have done
Never thought WEIRD AL would be giving drum lessons....but I’m inspired :)
This is awesome! However, I’m confused lol. Can you just use ur power cord to go from the drum module to your phone?
Basically usb to lightening
No, the module isn't run off USB, it has a separate power adapter. iPhones have a really low powering ability through lightning, which is why you basically need to use a powered USB hub.
@@demonicsweaters hey! What if I'm using an iPad? Do I still need a power hub?
Hey Justin. I'm new to garage band etc. I downloaded ezdrummer there trial version which it tell me ilit doesn't work with windows 10. My question is setup hookup. I need help on what I'll need to hook to computer and where does the sound come threw The computer or my dm50 monitor sorry for all the questions but I'm lost .Thank you I enjoy watching your videos
There's no reason why EZdrummer shouldn't work with Windows 10. I've used it myself in it. You need an audio interface if you want the lowest latency and best audio.
Hello of the Spain!! excuse my english 🥴Thank you very much for your video, it is helping me a lot. I wanted to ask you if it is possible to change the configuration of the Alesis nitro module so that it recognizes the crash action of crash 1 as well as the splash function of the HH pedal, since when I connect it to the GarageBand I have tried it and it does not work, thanks.
I have no idea how to do this on your phone, but it has something to do with which “notes” the sounds and inputs are mapped to. For instance, the DAW, whichever one you use, thinks of the kick as being on C1 on a piano keyboard, and it maps the input from the kick pedal to C1, so that when you play the pedal, it plays the right drum sound.
So adding the splash function of the HH pedal is just a matter of figuring out which note the pedal is mapped to and mapping the sound you want to the same note.
As for the crash action, I assume you mean like dampening it with your hand? Stopping the cymbal? And the answer there is you probably can’t. Again, the DAW maps the sounds and the drum inputs to an individual note. It can change the “velocity” (how loud or soft the sound is) depending on how hard you hit the drum pad, but it can’t adjust the root sound much.
As I think about, there might be a way to do it, but it would require sampling your own multi-velocity sound, which is way beyond me, so yeah. Short answer is you can’t do it.
Do you know how to get GarageBand to recognize the bell on the cymbal? I’m in no man’s land with this! Everything works perfectly except for that part of the kit
Nitro doesn't have a bell zone
@@demonicsweaters Sure it does. As a shitty beginner, it’s the only thing that gives me any dynamic change during jams. It’s just not registering on GB. Everything else work as expected. I use it every time.
Hi there, if you liked the garageband sounds more, why did you continue recording with the alesis module sounds? Is it becase the half open hi-hat doesn't trigger garageband? And did you find a solution to that problem?
I didn't
I was playing your early videos and thought you recorded mainly from the alesis modules stere out jacks. What's your favorite drum sound module or sample plugin library@@demonicsweaters ? I have an alesis surge mesh kit and want to record drums at home. My favorite genres are alt rock (pixies), grunge (soundgarden), 70's psychedelic and prog (ala early pink floyd, king crimson, elp). I'm an amateur on drums so I don't have experience choosing right drum sounds for the given track.
@@kdakan Oh I thought you meant in this video. Unfortunately there's no real way to change the hi hat settings within GarageBand. You may be able to change the hi hat settings within the Surge. It's odd, because the Surge module is the same as the Nitro, so it should just work. My current favorite sounding modules are the Roland TD-17 and ATV XD3, or AD5. If you want great sounding drums via plugin, EZ Drummer 3 is amazing. Steven Slate Drums 5 Free is also good for a free plugin.
Man thats crazy!!! I cannot believe that iOS does this thing..this is the future, simple&easy.. little con : iphone price and accessories overpriced..thanks for sharing 😉
Is it really overpriced though? The iPhone 11 is $700 new, cheaper than the iPhone X was when it came out, and cheaper than the pixel 4 and the flagship samsungs. Plus I took this thing in the pool with me and the water resistance is amazing.
@@demonicsweaters in East side Europe near to Austria-Wien a marvelous country called Slovakia is iphone 11 actual price arround 936 USD...i am talking about technology, great software as garageband is, trying to make our edrum life easier and smart, thats the key and great idea to throw away our laptops and put everything into one smartphone what can be a drum module, etc...
Awesome video! I just tired this on my iPad pro, and while recording I noticed it seems to sync out of beat a bit. Not dropping notes, but just going off beat a little. It sounds awesome, but that bit is a little annoying. Has that happened to you?
Not for me. How are you connected?
@@demonicsweaters basically same set up that you show here. The only difference is I have it running to an iPad Pro instead of a phone. Is it maybe a GarageBand setting?
@@Tremmor500 there's really not much you need to change, or can change. I use a regular iPad all the time and it works great. Never had a problem. It must be your midi cable or something.
@@demonicsweaters might be the cable. It’s new and everything, so not sure. That leads me into another question: is there a way to expand on or customize these kits in any way? Can I use custom voices or more than two cymbals?
@@Tremmor500 You can assign any sound to any pad or cymbal, it also has a tom and cymbal expansion ports.
I'm new to drums (a week into owning Nitro and two one hour clases) but it seems I can play some nice beats over most of my UA-cam music playlists, and that's feels awesome, especially when I try to analize the beat, spending 10-20 minutes to get the kick pattern and just play along with my favorite songs (no metal or punk for a moment;) . My question is what is a simple way to utilize my laptop with drum software or iphone to play along, mimicking Nitro's aux in? Unfortunately I don't have a mixer and audio interface and don't want a lot of cables to connect everything every time I want to play. Any ideas? Maybe there's a small/cheap audio interface that can handle that task, or software solution? Can I somehow route UA-cam music to DAW?
Try this Bluetooth adapter plugged into the aux input amzn.to/46p2YVp
@@demonicsweaters I have Bluetooth adapters, that I use with module as is. My question is that Iphone with GarageBand or notebook with DAW or ezdrummer don't have aux in so either I have good sounds from those and cannot use backing tracks from YT or I have aux in in Nitro module with not so good built in sounds
Ok, thinking about my music gear it stumbled upon me to do a dirty hack with my Zoom H4N - I connect it as an audio interface for output from daw and connect Bt adapter into ext.mic input as an aux with monitoring on. It's a lot of gear and cables unfortunately, I'd love to have software solution to be able to play music on a laptop itself and mix it with daw/ezdrummer output (if I try to do it through WASAPI non-exclusive drivers so Windows mix natively it gives so much latency it's unplayable)
I’m trying this on an iPhone se in gb and the drums will play for about 5 seconds then cut out. Not sure what the problem is
What kind of e-drums?
Nice video. Do the triggers work for rim clicks as well? I just want to be able to use all the zones on the snare.
Would it be possible to use a lightning to USB-B cable or does it need power? If so could I use the powered Apple camera Adapter that has lightning and USB port on it without having to buy the USB hub?
there's no way getting around a powered hub unfortunately. iOS basically says it can't power 99% of whatever you plug into there.
Demonic Sweaters even with the powered Apple camera adapter with the lightning port and usb port?
Mike Doyle i ordered that model so i can report back when it arrives
dave8125 sweet thanks. Just don't wanna spend $50 and have it not work lol
Mike Doyle can confirm its working great
If you add another cymbal what will happen?

Is it an older iPhone? Sounds like the processor isn’t keeping up
I figured it out. It’s been awhile since iv used GarageBand. The quantization was messing it up. All good!
