I also do a copper peptide drench after my dermaroll at least once a week. You are so great to steer folks slightly away from the medic*** devices as I have heard from trusted friends that they have wasted their money. You are such a fabulous resource❤

It really helps us to avoid the devices that are not as beneficial, or that do not justify the benefits compared to the price you would have to pay. Your my favorite you-tube personality! Hi Penny, thank you for videos like this! I started out with the Foreo Bear, then invested in the Omnilux Contour mask, and then the Nira laser. Thought to switch to the ZIIP or Myolift, but after seeing this will remain with the Bear :) I will invest in a patch/neck LED and will check out Light Salon (also like idea using on my part/hairline!) Also, because of you, I have the Emay Plus, I love it, for depuffing and massage. I no longer go to the spa for expensive laser treatments, in retirement I've turned into a DIY'er. Keep up the great work and again many thanks!

First thank you for all that you do to educate. I have been a part of most of your platforms for a while and I have to say you have never steered me wrong. I purchase and do skincare routines based on your advice. Please never stop!!!! If you have a chance can you demonstrate a protocol for the Emay plus? It is difficult to know how and when to use gadgets. I struggle with consistance but I never give up. Your content is greatly appreciated, and I thank you 1000 times over. Can't wait for the upgraded micro needling content. Blessings to you and family.

    Hi Penny
I had been wanting red light therapy for awhile and was really wanting the omnilux but it was a little pricey. I did a lot of research and wound up buying The Higher dose led red light mask. I love it! It sits right on your skin like the omnilux, it’s flexible, has a lot of lights. I’ve been using it everyday for 20 minutes ( it has 10 or 20 minute mode) and I’m seeing great results. It’s portable, rechargeable, comfortable. I’m really happy I got it and the price was right on for myself just starting out. It’s been 2 months.
    Have a great weekend!

I have also gotten compliments from my neighbor that my skin looks smooth and less red. I also have a micro current device but just don’t use it faithfully. thanks Penn I looked into the Lyma and decided against it due to cost, it's very time consuming , it sounds better for spot treatments, and end of day it's another LED I have a mask and panel, what has proven to be worth the money is the Nira Precision Laser and Nira Pro I have used other devices over the years and still use microcurrent but the Nira has made a big difference to my mature skin

    • @vivamertlich5069
      @vivamertlich5069 Рік тому +1

The Lyma is not actually a regular LED light device, it is a laser, which is supposed to be different. I do have the Lyma laser and I use it all the time. I do like it, but yeah I wonder sometimes if it does everything it claims. My skin has been looking amazing, but of course I have used a lot of powerhouse things - Droplette, OneSkin and Lyma for about a year. So, not very scientific, in that I don’t know which of these treatments is doing it, maybe all of them? Lol

Hi Penn, thank you for this awesome video. I bought the Ziip this year and really like it for short treatments. I agree with you about the soothing voice, it is just so relaxing and tranquil. One thing I have bought is several attachments (for my myolift mini) from Dr. Ventura. The cotton tip probes designed for the myolift that has graphene tips to attach (instead of cotton qtips) and only need to dip in water and conductivity is excellent. Several sets of different attachments that can be used with the cotton tip probe device that are incredible. Just need water. I use electrolyte rich water. I got the set of graphene t-blades also that fit directly into the myolift cord. Great for gua sha and doing a complete treatment. Just dip in water (and wear nitrile gloves) I am really curious about the lyma laser review coming up.. I have been looking at it for months. I bought 2 of the handheld 3b class cold laser (with 5 of the 808 lasers in the middle) to try out. From Amazon I have been using for a month, so cannot tell a different. I bought some surgical stainless steel eye protector to use when doing a treatment. I love Mito- have the large and mito mini. Thanks for the recommendation for the flex. Definitely going to check it out. Love your passion and research. Thank you again,

Another great and very informative video. I was surprised you didn’t mention the “Droplette”. It might be because you discovered it in 2021 and not in 2022 but I remember you featured it in one of your 2022 videos. Anyway, the reason I talked about the Droplette is, after your recommendations and the various interviews you had with the inventors, I purchased one and I have been using, religiously, the Collagen HydroFiller and the 17-Volt Lip Plumber capsules. Sadly, my 3rd device suddenly died on me and I just contacted the company and asked them to reimburse me for the unused capsules and to cancel my automatic refills. I am extremely disappointed but, obviously, the design of their device needs to be revisited😩

I used the Lyma for over a year, every single day in front of the tv for over an hour (15mins per area). Nothing. Literally. I sold it.
The ziip, I've had for years, and I still love it. The coating has started to come off the electrodes (I didn't look after it very well) and I've just ordered another.
However, for certain, red light has made the most noticeable difference in my skin texture. I started off with a baby quasar over 10 years ago, went to LED mask and now use red/NIR large body panels. Love it!

This maybe out of your price ceiling, but a tool Penny reviewed about a year ago, is the Pico Toner with the micro current gloves. Depending on the area you are treating, you can ramp up the power. I am getting not only great results for my face and neck, but my arms and thighs. Dying to see what you think of the Lyma! It’s definitely intriguing and the cost (although prohibitively expensive) is around the same as a 3-treatment series of Clear&Brilliant or 1-2 RFmicroneedling sessions, so if it actually WORKS, it may be “worth it,” if you can swing it and would otherwise be spending that on another treatment that addresses the same issues. Also, and this is what I did when I wanted to try another NIR/RL therapy mask (I already had a couple) I bought the face and the neck/chest with a friend (so it was 1/2 the cost) and we trade every week! It’s working out great so far! Might be a good idea for such a pricey item to share it with a couple of friends (who live close by!) and trade off!

Hi Penn. I am a member of your Facebook page and I am absolutely delighted and thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful and supportive community. Thank you so very much. I was hoping for some advice from you please 🙏🏻
I am 68 years old and have been using Nuface mini for just over 4 years now. I am very consistent with it and love using it. I am just wondering if I “should step” up my micro current game and try the new Ziip device? As it is a huge investment I was wondering if you could advise me how much difference I would see with the ZIIP and would I see a noticeable improvement with the Ziip over my NuFace mini??
I am not sure if the NuFace has any sort of life expectancy… in so much as it gets less potent as it gets older… or if now I’m 4 years into my micro current journey… do I need a stronger device?? Is the ZIIP stronger and more effective device for me now ??
I would absolutely appreciate any advice you could give me please as I value your opinion so very much. Love your FB page and blog and all your amazing UA-cam videos.
Kindest regards and many thanks in advance for all your help. Lyn Wilhelm ♥️♥️

I also bought something you recommended in another video called the "wand." I bought the system with four wands, all orange light by NuDerma. I think that is neon gas. I haven't tried it yet, but I had mohs surgery on my face about 5 years ago, then plastic surgery to fix the whole in my face from the mohs surgery, and think these products will help with the scaring. Could you suggest any new or improved ingrediant products for older skin (in 70's) that would complement the wand benefits? Thank you so much for your time and concideration.

does anyone know the difference between the Lyma and other LLLT handheld devices? There are several that combine 808nm and 650nm and they can go up to 510 mW (which is actually higher than the 500 mW of the Lyma). Most of them cost around $350, a fraction of the price of the Lyma, and it seems like the technology is the same.

Hmmm. I don’t see fragrance in the ingredient decks of the silver or crystal gels and the golden gel may have a scent due to the jasminum officinale oil- which is a soothing humectant (it’s not a bad ingredient) that also has a scent. I’ve never really noticed so the scent is certainly mild.
But if you want zero scent the crystal and silver gel don’t have the jasminum in them 😊

@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Yes I used the gel & mist but only lasted a couple months and I never repurchased. I live in Canada had to pay duty way too expensive. I ended up paying with exchange & duty around 4500.00. I started Nov.18/21 missed 14 days started again Jan. 16/22. I used it daily for at least 1/2 an hour or more for at least 6 months. I can't remember how long it took before I noticed results maybe 4 months. Took away 3 larger Melasma spots on my face and they have not returned. It did nothing for my wrinkles or saggy skin. I used it on my spider veins (legs) for around 2 months did nothing and way too time consuming, maybe should have used it longer.
I try to use it at least 5 times a week. If I would have paid a few hundred I probably wouldn't use it as often or at all. I like that you can use anything on your face while you use it. The best time, is like you mentioned, watch TV or UA-cam videos. If you have any other questions please ask. I want to know more about your Ellacor, no one does it anywhere near me but that is definitely something I will be doing. Might have to fly to Oregon.
