Hi Chai! I’ve been in Thailand for almost 6 months and nearly died twice. How? Walking across an ally during Bangkok rush hour and in a crosswalk where I had a green light. My ultimate tip for future tourist is to keep your head on a swivel as traffic may (probably won’t) not stop for you. Assume the motorbikes have the right of way. That being said I love this country!

Another tip: If you're from a country where cars drive on the right side of the road, be extra aware when stepping off a curb to cross the street. Cars and cycles will be coming from your right, not your left (most of the time; there are always exceptions, illegal though they may be). Be alert! You don't want to find yourself in a hospital, even if they are very good here.

Admire the ultra runner who endures Bangkok for his training ; I can tolerate a week running there maybe but I would choose Chiang mai to live bar burning season when I’d go to Koh Chang. Great video Chai I like that university area of Chiang Mai too.

as i work in the health care, i would propose to be aware of monkey bites ore scratches - i had a bad experience and had to have rabies vaccine and tetanus, - at least it was a good hospital ! sometimes wounds can`t healing well in tropical weather. Best wishes to you and Ilona 💕

Many say, “I was robbed”. What they mean is “there was theft”.

I've seen some videos about people getting robbed by gun or machete which has me nervous to visit alone

Owno one to go after this for today, but me never been robbed in Thailand, only they tried to scam us in Taxi without meter, or tuktuk who charges more for a ride, or a tuktuk driver who drives in cricels to get to a spot for extra money, but the last one was funny cause i had the google maps on and in the end we didn't pay what he asked cause i showed him what he did on maps hahahaha.
Yes mate remember thise tips, respect the Thai, learn a bit of the culture and language 😉

The bad weather in Bangkok in the summer due to the fact that neighboring Cambodia has burned a lot of forests and the wind direction is blowing towards Thailand, causing Bangkok and nearby provinces to have higher PM 2.5 levels.

First time I went to Bangkok was more than 40 years ago...first and last . Dont get me wrong I go to thailand 3 or 4 times a year but never to Bangkok
