I was in Thailand for a little under 3 weeks and I spent it the entire time in Hua Hin and I loved every moment of it. As someone from Miami, I’m over the party scene so I skipped Bangkok. I went to train in Muay Thai and when I wasn’t training I spent afternoons chillin at the very beach you filmed this. I miss it and I can’t wait to go back.
also from south florida. i may try thailand for first time......cant wait......i have to admit i want to go to bangkok but would also love to try HUA HIN. glad you had a great time!!!
You've struck gold again with this one with so much useful information, especially the second one, John from England who would make an awesome tour guide :) Always good getting expats involved moreso than the random tourist that may have only been there a day or so or just passing through. Great work Chai. Cheers champ 🤩
I think your random interview with different age, nationalities, and time spent in thailand, is absolutely spot on! I have been living on and off in Lamai, for 17 years, things here are getting to congested, I love the beaches, restraunts, the people, but its like a raging battle to drive anywhere on the only road around the island, I can’t even go out with my wife for dinner because all of downtown Lamai has turned to a walking street! Moms with baby carriages walking in the middle of the road at 21:00 at night! I have a car, and its frustrating to navigate as most of the tourist females are warring beach clothes….lol. So…..HUa HIn here we go! We are booked on the ferry to Donsak to go villa hunting! Keep up the great interviews compadre
Hey, loved this one. That question...you know the one... makes people uncomfortable but it brings gold. Keep up the awesome vlogs. I love the way you educate/ inform the viewers about the beauty of Thailand.🙏
Hua hin is the first place I ever visited in Thailand 15 years ago and have been back many times since, I was there last week and enjoyed it as much as I did 15 years ago.
Ey Marietta 🤩 Thank you so much! That's super generous of you. This is definitely helping us keeping it up! We're now in the south already. Krabi for a week or so 😍. Thanks again, also for commenting once in a while 🤗 have a beautiful start of the week already 🏆 cheers
If you want non stop parties, continue on to Phuket or Samui, but Hua Hin has always been a favourite for me. It's clean by Thai standards, it's a lot cheaper than Phuket, less scams, the food is great, the night market in trhe centre of town, the food park next to the railway line and the pier restaurants. The beach isn't pristine but there are some little beauties not far to the south. If you love your golf, then Hua Hin is for you. I would never write HH off and soon it should be a breeze to take a high speed train from Bangkok to Hua Hin in an hour or so.
CAUTION to anybody visiting the UK... Blackpool is NOT like Pattaya 🤣 Bless him, the guy was joking. Keep travelling and asking, Chai - we enjoy your videos
John thank you for some great information I think I want to retire here It’s much more laid back but Jomtiem is laid back as well but the lovely sandy white sand is lovely
Hi!champ. You come and make streets interview at Hua Hin.It's great. Each foreigner tourists got a lot different experience.l would liked recommend u go to Kaeng Krachan national park. It's the largest in Thailand.U'll touch the rainforest different from the northern forest and fantastic landscape.Hope u enjoyed trekking vibe.Have a nice trips.Keep going Champ.
The guy in yellow t-shirt (time approx 11:57) said "this is the best part of Hua Hin".... what does it mean please? where that footage was filmed? :) Thanks
Great cheap fresh seafood at the night market and several nice golf courses there Bigger, cheaper houses than Bangkok or Pattaya and much less traffic. Been there 5 or 6 times Nearby Cha'am is completely walkable with its own beach.
@@Chai_Travel no I don’t either but I know Hua Hin has a great following from golfers for sure , I live in Hua Hin around 8 months a year, I love this place, everyone is friendly, it’s relatively clean, very safe at night, lovely long beach, two shopping malls and great seafood, I love it here
Why does everyone who visits thinks they will get ripped off in Thailand. 99% of Thai people are honest people. If you as a Gullible Tourist and listen to too much internet chatter you will always think this. You have more chance of getting scammed outside Thailand. So please You Tubers stop looking for a strap line and see Thailand and it’s people for what it is. Beautiful Land of Smiles. Sabai Sabai.🇹🇭🙏
Who says that everyone thinks they will get ripped of in Thailand? Thailand is super safe and, there are a lot of taxi scams happening (this is not only happening in Thailand) but it is definitely happening a lot in Thailand too. North to do with safety though, either to do with the majority of honest Thai people
TAT should support your channel!! , real like the way the two expats(the blue and yellow T-shirt) said about Hua Hin and u did the very good job of the kind vid..
Concrete has nearly arrived to the sealine leaving just a little public beach...on high tide nearly none. Compare this to the stunning beaches at other destinations Chose your Thai Holiday beach wisely.
Meh, I had a boring time as the nightlife was not like Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui, or even Chiang Mai. The beer bar girls in the two entertainment zones were well past it. From a daytime tourism perspective ok for 3 days if you have transportation.
Well .. 3 hours from BKK .. hmmm .... I live between Cha Am and Hua Hin .... driving from BKK the last 5 - 6 years I have NEVER made the drive in 3 hours ( even with EasyPass ) ..... it is about 2.5 - 3 hours to the Ratchaburi / Petchaburi split from BKK and Cha Am is close to another 45 minutes after the "split" and Hua Hin is another 20 minutes or so .... construction has been a mess on Rama II the last couple of years .....
Hua Hin is great for low cost and a chilled small town vibe. The beaches are not great, but that’s the price you pay to live in an area without lots of annoying tourists. 😅

Wow, that’s so nice you can have it all 😃 great for you 🏆 I’m happy for you
3 great places to split your time

Also Hua Hin is famous for golf courses, literally so many to choose from and quality as well , so a lot of golfers come here

Hi...nice video! The guy in yellow jersey said where you are filming the video is the best part of Hua Hin...where is it in the city if I may ask?
It was the north part of Hua Hin Beach near the Hilton hotel :)
Hello,I wonder what the restaurant ( or bar) is in video at 3:36, does anybody know the store correct location? Thanks ❤
No worries. It’s at Soi 88. It’s like a square with life music with restaurants and street vendors :) your able to find in on Google: Soi 88 Hua Hin
Nice to learn that the train ride between Hua Hin and Bang Kok can be delayed due to only a single track.
Another great vlog except for the champ of the day. That guy Earl is kind of dodgy...haha! Thanks for the shout out, man! Much appreciated. 🙏
Always a pleasure mate :) it’s great to have you on board 😃 cheers 🏆

Hi from Kirkham. Your interview was very informative, thanks. Beaches at Pran Buri are very nice, which you probably know already
Well done Walshy laaad 👏👏
first time hitting hua hin, should i do 2 or 4 nights stay?
Depending on how many nights you’re in Thailand. I’d say on a 3 week holiday, 2 nights would be just fine :)

@Chai Travel there's a place just outside Krabi that you can catch these big fish ;)
..have a great time around the South, its stunning :)

2 months or less is fine in HH, as long as you are on or near the main street. Past the railroad tracks is kind of ghetto.
