I would like to go through these colors, swatch them with you, and demonstrate three different methods of using rubber base. It can be used in various ways to help strengthen your natural nails, or it can be applied over an existing press-on to add extra strength and color.

I find that these rubber base gel really works for me on my natural nails too. It looks pretty and shiny and they don't split,peel or break, YAAAY!
That is amazing. Recently, I've told my mom to switch to rubber base, and her nails grow nice but were brittle, so she needed strength, and this product had worked great for her. Tyfw

Born pretty is a good brand. That's what I use when I want natural nails or use a builder gel overlay over your natural nails. Depending on what you do with your hand, meaning if you are in chemicals a lot or water builder, gel might be better than a rubber base. The condition of your natural nails also makes a difference. If your nails are thin, a builder will be better. But if you have healthy, strong nails, a rubber base will be perfect for you.💙🤗

I love builder gel in a bottle. It's as easy as painting your nails. 🤗 My nails get so long I have to end up filing them. Recently I've been getting them off Temu for a couple bucks and they have solid nail glue too. Sometimes I put full cover tips over my nails, leaving a thin overlay to protect them, when I want a different shape. I'm so addicted to that site😍
The Ameilie (I probably butchered the spelling 🤪😅) set of builder gel in a bottle is amazing and inexpensive. You can get 6 colors (7.5ml bottles) for like $16. Also Saviland has a builder in a bottle that I love, and they're 15ml bottles, for very inexpensive too.

I watched this whole thing waiting, longing for you to try to move the gel x nail to show how flexible they are or if flexibility activates the peel off base! I have the most flexible flat nail beds& my natural nails don't harden until they get grown out because I have an extremely thick like under cuticle. I can't grow out my natural nails because they pull away from underneath everything... nothing stays more than 24hrs... and yes I've spent 20 years trying dehydrators, primers & the correct prep method.
try just gel glue? No, Primer no base ext. Born pretty 6 in 1 is good, but use your favorite, but. Still prep the nail. Hugs 💙 🤗

@bluerosenails7481 This is such a great video. I love how thorough you were but I especially love the experiment you did. I've been trying to find a way to protect my nails but also wear full cover tips. I think if you use the rubber base, then top coat, then two coats peel base with no buffing in between any of the layers... It will separate the enhancement better. The trick is also application. Ensure the peel base coats are the only layers that go closest to the proximal fold. Kinda like a hamburger with the lettuce sticking out... The lettuce being the peel base. I think the issue might have been that the two bases (rubber and peel) fused together. You probably need the top coat as the barrier to ensure the peel base works properly. Gosh, I hope this makes sense 😆

I have not tried the Jello brand yet, but I personally like the ibd peel base that works great.

A rubber top would go over a polished nail. A base will go on before the polish would. In these rubber bases, there are already colored to I would just add a rubber top, rubber tops are flexible . If you put this just on your natural nail, a base coat should go down first unless it's a 2 in 1 base and top coat .

I personally love ibd peel base works great and actually peels off your nail but you can still get a few days of wear with proper prep, I get my metal files from AliExpress but I know the Nail throne sell metal base files to if you ate not a AliExpress shopper,

The best way to remove the product (rubber base ) is to file down the bulk them wrap your nail with a little acetone. After ten minutes, should scrape right off

No, sorry, but I do my mom's nails when I visit, I take all that I need. If you do not have a portable table, make sure you have something to cover the table. Make sure to talk to your client first so you know what to bring colors gems glitter ext. Make sure you have a lamp drill tips or forms brushes and all you Liquids and prep. Remember, you are not in your own studio. Make sure you have what you need to be comfortable. Hope this helps.

Rubber base and top coats does have actual rubber in them hence the name
Hey Osopretty, thank you so much for watching, I'm not sure where you heard that rubber base actually has rubber in it, it doesn't actually contain rubber, the rubber base name is just a marketing/ description term, it is a hight flexible product, so because it's flexible like rubber, hence the name. I have tried a few, and I mean a few different ones, but the only one I found that actually lets you peel off the nail is IBD peel, babe. I usually get it off AliExpress it's not the cheapest. at least for me, the delivery is high for AliExpress standards, but it is worth it if you can find it on Amazon or something

@@BlueRoseNails Omg that's the POBC I use too and it's also the best that I've tried. When I first found it a couple of years ago it was actually under $2 + free shipping per bottle but the seller raised the price as you know 😏
