- Welcome to my channel!
This is my first DIY attempt at making a concrete candle jar/vessel. I didn't seal the inside of my Jar before pouring the wax. I wanted to use a non toxic sealant which I didn't have at the time, but I'll be exploring concrete sealer options in the future :) All captions are auto translated by youtube.
I've recently started a candle brand on Amazon! I'll be launching new scents slowly. Thank you so much for all your support!

¡Muchas gracias! Crear también me relaja. Me quita la mente de todo 🤍
@@joolieshome, a ti 😘😘😘
Cute. 🌸
Thank you for watching! :)
I just started making vessels and I always end up with cracks 😢
I’m not sure if it’s because they’re drying too fast? I’m doing them outside in the hot Hawaii sun. I use the same type of cement as you do too… hoping one day I can perfect my vessels too
Thank you for watching all the way from Hawaii! Praying for Maui and everyone affected by the fires 🤍
I’ve had a few crack on me as well! Yes, I think it’s probably drying too fast and for me, sometimes I use too much water. You can do it! You’ll figure it out as you go :)
Lovely! Can the pots be reused once the wax has melted? I am not sure how, but I believe it is possible. Perhaps repeating the process although a bit tricky with the old wax at the bottom? Just wondering.:)
That's a great idea! I'll try to scrape out the remaining wax after I'm done with it and see if a new wick will stick to the bottom :) It makes sense to reuse the concrete vessel! Thanks for the idea 🤍
@@joolieshome it would be a pity to not reuse such lovely pots. If not possible to completely scrape the wax and hold the wick at the bottom, perhaps just holding the wick as close to the bottom as possible, even without the metal base as I have seen in other videos. Just a thought:)
ohhh I can definitely try that method as well! Great ideas Helena 🫶 thank youuu
@@joolieshome you are welcome!
Can u tell me r u using white cement to make concret jars?
no, this is just cement all. It dries into a lighter grey. Thank you for watching :)
No sand added? @@joolieshome
