for everyone wondering about it not syncing: when creating an event in the google calendar make sure the event is set to public. It will allow it to sync along all calendars!!!
THIS video WORKED! The others I tried did not include going into Apple's calendar, going to "Calendar" at the bottom of the page, and then checking all the calendars that you wanted to have show up on your iPhone calendar. BIG missing step....thanks!
Can you be synced from iphone calendar to Outlook calendar and Google calendar at the same time? I want to tie all of my accounts together. Would this be a different process to set this up?
Phone calls to Apple Support could not fix this issue... spent hours and days trying to sync my google calendar with Apple Iphone.... IT WORKS!!!! I can hardly believe it after the hastle i have gone thru since they stopped syncing a few weeks ago for who knows why. The issue I'm having is I subscribed to my personal gmail from work gmail. Now on my iphone, events are showing twice because the app is showing me events on my personal calendar but also on my work calendar. I wanted personal events to show on my work events calendar which is find on the desktop however iPhone shows duplicated due to calendar sharing. Ugh how do I fix this?
When you sync all the google calendar with the iPhone calendar, will those events be able to be shared to al your family that is hooked up to your iPhone calendar? Or is that a whole different process?

Hey there - I did get it working. I don't remember exactlly, but *I think* it was checking the Calendar box under ICLOUD in the hamburger menu (top left, three horizontal lines) of the Google Calendar. @@asbestosflake5749
Hi @dvds45v, just did this and it updated my calendar on my phone with current events and past events. No more toting a paper calendar for me. But I'll still have one on my desk :) old school.
But if I make an entry on the iPhone, it cannot be seen in the Google Calendar (e.g. on the Windows PC). And you cannot make changes to the entries either.
everything syncs but my calendar, i can log into my google account through web browser just fine and my contacts also sync on their own but the calendar won't and when i try to force a sync it ask for the account password but now the same password which works fine through browsers fails and i get an error that says unknown error, i even installed the google calendar on my iphone but get the same error, i've been through every setting countless number of times and can find nothing, i am out of ideas..........

My events from iCal sync to Google Calendar but it is super slow- takes about 24 hours. Do you know any way to increase the sync frequency?
How to do it in reverse? So all my new events will be added to google calendar, not iCal?
