You, my good Sir, are a valuable "tool" in a lively human format. I am thrilled the Holy Spirit lead me to your channel! I learn a great deal from watching and listening to you. You help me organize my "fizzy", rather busy day. (I'm joshing with you!) In all seriousness, I appreciate your easy-to-follow videos!
Hi Steve, this is my first time viewing one of your videos and it was terrific. You are an incredibly magnetic speaker! Question for you: I want to create a public semester calendar (assignments, class meeting times) for my academic cohorts and am trying to figure out a way that everyone can see it, regardless of their personal platform. If I create a public calendar via Google, do folks need to have a gmail account in order to view it or can they simply open the calendar using the shareable URL? Thanks!
Great tutorial. My client shared access to her work calendar with me. As I am in a different time zone, the actual meeting time converts with my local time. So I see a different meeting time. I want to see the same meeting time as her. Is there a way I can do that?
This was terrific! Is there a way the ‘sharee’ can see our shared public calendar as a separate, stand-alone calendar, instead of its being integrated into their existing calendar? I am sharing with some elderly, easily confused users and not having all events integrated on a single screen would be best for them.
The Microsoft Edge Browser etc is very frustrating to use- do you have any recent videos on this ? I also heard there is going to be an upgrade soon! I’m already behind -
How do I share an event publicly so that people can add the event to their personal calender? I have created a company calendar for training we do with our salespeople. Do I simply share the entire calendar? We send out emails for meeting deatils and want to add an add to calendar link. I tried to send out the event link but it doesn't seem to work. Do i need to share the entire calendar each time? Not sure. Help if you can. Thank you
Don't forget that there are many public calendars available such as Public Holidays, Day of the Year, Week Numbers, professional bodies, seminar calendars...
Can I create an event that can go on both calendars (private & public) simultaneously or do I have to create the event twice for the 2 calendars? I like the private and shared calendar idea, but I worry about doing things twice like my work schedule. The shared calendar is for my co worker. The private calendar is my work and other personal matters. The free busy option is interesting in that it could reveal only to my co worker that I am available those days to work, versus revealing my work schedule.
It’s very confusing - APPLE GOOGLE ZOOM INTEGRATED CALENDARS & GMAIL I’ve given up on calendars and zoom and made my own system making the repeated meeting days and zoom urls on a pdf that sits on my desktop.
Can I create a calendar that ANYONE in the general public can add an event on the shared public calendar? As it is, in order to add an event, each person needs to receive permission.
Is there a way to do the public calendar, but also have dates included that are holidays? For example, I want to make a public calendar that has holidays, but these holidays aren't on the same day every year. There is already a Public calendar that includes these holidays, but also a lot of others that I am not interested in. however I can't delete the ones I'm not interested in. I would like to make a new one based off of the other public calendar (that i did not create), but I don't want to have to go in and enter new holidays every year. i would like it to automatically update every year. I'm not sure if you understand what I am trying to say. So say there is this holiday called candy day, but candy day isn't on the same day every year. There is a public calendar available that has that holiday on it, but it also has burger day, ice cream day, etc. but I only want the people that subscribe to my calendar to pay attention to candy day because we are in the candy business. So I want to make a public calendar they can subscribe to that has candy day on the calendar and not the other days, but I also don't want to have to go in and update it every year since candy day isn't on the same day every year. I want it to update every year according to the national calendar. Any idea on how to do this?
I listen closely but got lost at the bit of how other people get to join the public calendar I’ve just set up. That was where you changed to your own account.

Hay! Great video. Cant seem to get my tasks to share. Any idea?
Does the sharing only work for google emails? Can I share with someone with a yahoo email?
QUESTION: If I have an email alias on my gmail domain, can that alias have their own calendar, and share it with our team?
Спасибо! Прикольно ❤

Publishing a public calendar will do that, but for shared you will need to subscribe in another calendar account

Can you share “other calendar” below "my calendar" section

Is there anyway to set the time of day that your calendar starts from?
Thanks! Can you see how many people use your calendar? In order to understand if it is worth updating it or not ;)

It can appear in multiple calendars but only is "owned" by one.
Hi, how can we share a calendar to emailing list or email group in google?
Can I share to people who don’t have a Gmail email? Ex: to yahoo
Yes you can publish Calendars to other Calendar Apps

Can you just make a link to view calendar only? Not subscribe.
What do I do if I used my change password in my Google acc and i can't remember it what do I do?

I am sorry but regardless of the calendar being "public" it still needs someone to have a google account. Is there any way around that?

We agree!
Why does the calendar look like shit when I click the share link from my phone? And I can't figure out how to subscribe from my phone.

iOS calendar doesn’t share properly.
It is not at all obvious how to establish a Group Calendar in Outlook to show corporate accounting dates.
