St Thomas Aquinas said, "To love is to will the good of the other." That's why in marriage BOTH husband and wife are selflessly and sacrificialy put each other first and takes care of each other. I hope red pill men will find and experience true love someday.

@LilaRose I understand the Tate brothers having their women live elsewhere. There’s a great story about this being a prerequisite for a healthy relationship in Osho: Love, Freedom and Aloneness. Wonderful book, which I would HIGHLY recommend. The basis for the argument is that each party must be able to say “no”, to each other’s company. The chapter is, Let There Be Spaces.
“Let there be spaces in your togetherness.
And let the winds of heaven dance between you.
Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shore of your souls.”
The claim is that this will breed the type of love that grows deeper every day.

  • @Gear_Banger
    @Gear_Banger 2 місяці тому

Really glad you had John on. I’ve been following John for a long time now and he’s definitely a good model for men. The thing about the red pill is you have to be able to dissect the good from the bad and if you’re a Christian you shouldn’t have trouble doing that because there’s only a small amount of bad in the red pill movement and I agree with John on most but will say there’s a couple things I think he misses sometimes simply because of experience. Certain experiences open your understanding of certain things better. Now anything that’s against God then of course it’s wrong. But there’s also nothing wrong with never getting married. The Bible actually says it’s better to remain unmarried unless you can’t abstain from sex..
Again it’s about recognizing what’s great like learning people’s nature, their habits based on biology and history, improving yourself and then there’s the sinful things we should refrain from..
Also John is spot on when he says what most men are attracted to in women 👍🏼

  • @SonofSolomon

Yes. Walk away from love for a prenuptial. If a woman loves you, she will sign a prenuptial.
Someone needs to give Lila Rose this thought experiment.
Look up the Saudi Arabian marriage laws and see how it favors men. Tell her the laws are now the American laws, and her husband has proposed.
Would she feel comfortable getting married knowing that her sexual freedom, access to kids, and even freedom to move around with permission would be taken away.
Or would she remain consistent that love is love and she shouldn’t fear what might happen if things change.

Luther didn't take any books out of the Bible. He simply argued, like Jerome and Augustine before him, that some of the books of the Septuagint were of secondary tier and not to be used for the formulation of church doctrine. It wasn't until later that bibles began to be published without including some of the books. It's interesting to note that the Jews also independently concluded that these books were not divinely inspired, and relegated them to the level of historical documentation or theological "commentary" from their given time period.

I would like to point out that there are only a couple biblical reasons to get remarried after divorce and one of them is if your partner cheated (Mathew 19:9) and that’s straight from Jesus.
The other would be in (1 Corinthians 7:15). If one becomes a believer but the spouse is unwilling to stay married to you then you are free to remarry.

My brother married his high school sweetheart after completing college (who'd been saved for years), one year his wife makes friends with a "christian" woman to the point of adopting her as a mother figure. Well she (the mother figure) believes that Christians should accept the LGBTQ+ community and when my brother wouldn't go along with that teaching his wife divorces him.
In contrast you have me who started a relationship in a bad way, then married her to "make it right" causing myself to be unevenly yoked and now we're both too stubborn to leave.
All this to say there's just no way to know where your relationship will be years down the road. By all accounts his relationship should be thriving (just took one person to change that) and mine should of never worked out (Statistically).

I think you should make your priorities very clear when dating. Just because you've been dating each other for awhile, if you hadn't had the discussions about important things (e.g. religion, politics, how to raise kids) then you are not really prepared for marriage. Just having a good time with this person is not enough basis for a solid marriage.

    • @Rosie_C

It’s true, there’s definitely a risk in marriage! My husband and I started out pretty much exactly the same way some of his brothers did, but somehow he was the only one to actually leave his wife. I do take responsibility for not talking more before marriage and for just assuming we were on the same page. The big kicker was that I started to care about holiness and what God thought about how I was living my life, while at the same time my husband pursued sports and a lifestyle that was not Biblical. How can two walk together lest they be agreed? I’m thankful that we had a very low drama divorce and that the Bible is very clear on how I can proceed with the circumstances I faced.

22:21 Prenups only protect what’s earned and purchased in the marriage. It’s known as joint property. Anything you come to the marriage with is already yours by law, in case of divorce.

  • @Gear_Banger
    @Gear_Banger 2 місяці тому

I agree with most everything they say but I also agree with the other side on a lot. Because of my experiences I’m somewhere in the middle.. but what I will say is regardless of what side you’re on, prenups are great. Prenups don’t cover child support either. But here’s a question for you.
If someone supposedly loves you so much that they want to spend the rest of their lives together why wouldn’t they want to sign a prenup?? Really, if they never want to not be married to you what’s the problem with signing a paper saying if the marriage ends they leave with only what they brought in and half of what they acquired together during the marriage??
I think that once you really find out why it’s because they want something they didn’t work for and by that time it’s too late..

Marriage is all or nothing on a spiritual level if one is to be successful (grow and last through life with the same person). A prenup is effectively an "out clause" on a contract ordained by God to be all-in. So it gives the lie to the marital vow, and like a cancer, can grow and take over the whole body of the marriage over time. God bless.

The question of marriage and divorce is a source of a great deal of confusion in the church. Jesus actually taught in Matthew 19:9 that divorce in the case of sexual immorality was acceptable, and that it is an exception which would allow a person to remarry without committing adultery themselves. Then the question becomes, what is included in the umbrella of "sexual immorality" that would constitute grounds for a moral divorce?

I'm writing this all to you, Lila..in response to all you said
In the last days people will call good evil and evil good
    Wolves in sheep's clothing
Be careful when you stand lest you fall
Work out your faith with fear and trembling
There is no other name in heaven by which you can be saved except thru Jesus...not a priest..not Mary...
Just cause someone calls their denomination Christian doesn't mean God acknowledges it as so
Many will say to me LORD LORD did we not prophesy in your name did we not heal the sick in your name...but I will say to them depart from me I NEVER KNEW YOU
Just cause someone or a denomination calls themselves a "christian" means nothing
even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
Get off this denominational thing or what people all themselves
The doctors told my mom to abort me and my brother as a babie and she did not
And I've helped many people in the 37 years I've been alive
This world would be a little less bright without me here...just a little. Everyone is apart of the puzzle piece...so a church preaching abortion is ok.....is not okay...
There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed INNOCENT blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
Don't be so proud of your Catholicism ..God doesn't care about it. He cares about your heart...it's not about being a label Catholic or protestant...God cares about your heart not your church label.
When it said in the bible ONE HOLY AND CATHOLIC APOSTOLIC CHURCH
    Catholic means universal..that's all
He wasn't saying that catholic church is the one right church
I've been living in my car for 8 of the last 12 years..praying reading m Bible alone..with God
Haven't been to church in 10 years really
It doesn't mean I'm not saved. Catholics believe some stuff not in line with the bible as well. Fyi.
If you truly truly love someone genuinely....you don't speak of or even know anything about what a pre nup is
I used to know a girl in the Middle East...amazingly pretty...said she bowed down in church and prayed and lit a candle for me
That's not someone who knows of or cares about a pre nup
    This American culture is gross
    It's tainted
Pre nups are for spoiled brats..college grads with so called perfect type lives. With 100k jobs

I don't believe Catholics are batting .1000 in faith and morals. I don't have hate for Catholic or Protistsnt. I don't belong to either, I am unbaptized, and all I have is my love for Jesus and God's desire for me to spread his word as he has for all his children. I could be very unlearned in this, but if Catholics were perfect in Faith and Morals, why would Pope Urban II call Christian Eroupe to effectively spread the Gospal by the Sword to reclaim the Holy Land. If he wasn't wrong, why did the Pope in 2000 apologize for it. In Matt's pints podcast with Kim Zember, would a Catholic priest be telling her it's okay to he gay that's how God made her. Thats no differnt that what the protestants are doings, but atleast the protestants in separating are hopefully moving their flock from a wolf back to the lamb. And hopefully they don't give up on their former sheep and continue to preach the truth and pray for them. Catholics can't split in that sense, you can remove him, and I havnt looked but I have heard stories of Catholic bishops who engage in pedophila just being moved around and not much else happening. No one institution of God is batting .1000 percent in faith and morals but God works and speaks and lives though as all to bring home those who are not yet with us in Jesus Christ.

Marriage is not God.

  • @Rosie_C

32:00 I’ve always thought the Bible was clear on this. NEVER seek a divorce, but if your spouse commits adultery and leaves you (against your wishes or desires) and remarries someone else, than it would be sin for you to ever be with your spouse again and you would be free. I’m not offended in the least if someone disagrees with me, but I’ve personally seen godly people who followed this and remarried and seen God undeniably bless their union. That being said, I’m disgusted by the blatant disregard for marriage in some churches these days, and the excuses for divorce and remarriage.
