I, generally, use a ratcheting, interchangeable regular-sized screwdriver for the initial loosening of screws. Here's a link to the brand I use:

Get some additional, varying sizes Flathead and Phillips bits while you're at it.
The adjustable wrenches I use (instead of hex nut wrenches) are Husky, but these (with the red insert) work very well... 6-inch will be used the most:

Another good video. As I have said before I appreciate how thorough you are. I agree with your tendency to apply grease to protect against saltwater intrusion. A lot of people don't do that. I was wondering why you oil the AR clutch though. If I have one that's slipping I will give it a shot of WD40 then wipe off as much as possible but typically I just cleaned it out with a dry cloth or swab. Would like to hear your reasoning here . Thanks.
Thanks! As far as the AR, it needs lubrication. These types aren't designed to run dry, so if I clean it out, I'll re-add a few drops of oil. The only reasons it'll slip is too much lubrication or it's rusted (bad).

Okay, I had to do some research. The dog, holder, and ridges inside the rotor form a backup system for the regular anti-reverse clutch. Is that right? So what activates the dog?

Hello. What difference between ssvl and battle in 8000-8500. And what you think about upgrade main shaft under spool by a bearing? I see there's ugly sleeve
I don't know, brother. I'm not a big believer in bearings under the spool.
@@TSGReelService I see it in European reel for trophy catfishing. For example black cat catextreme 40
You'd be asking for issues in my opinion fishing in saltwater. Not a whole lot of benefit but a ton of risk of having that bearing seizes without any physical seal there.

I can’t believe this shit!!! I just bought this same reel and rod combo but it is a 3000 series and it took a week to arrive I was so excited when it got here and I told my wife I can’t wait to use it…….and now u say it’s a “ladies edition” 😂 I said that to my wife and she said “awwww thanks I got me a new fishing pole” 🤨 o well ladies edition or not I’m brought to break her in good lol

I've always thought the LE meant Limited Edition, but everyone that has brought one of these reels in to me for service has been a lady..... couple that with the color scheme, and me thinking I've seen/heard this somewhere before (though I don't remember where).... Ladies Edition seems more appropriate.
I can, unequivocally, state as fact that the Passion is a reel designed for ladies. However, this Battle designation is still up in the air, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it. If you like the colors, fish it! I know I do.

I still don’t get why it’s called the ladies edition it’s literally a blue camo rod and no where is it advertised as a better rod for women, I use the rod and there’s nothing lady like about it especially the color scheme
