Before i read the novel, i saw behind the scene pictures of him filming TTEOTM and I was worried for his health.
In the novel - tantai jin has to eat scraps/bugs to survive and no one feed him as a child. So he supposed to be so thin … years of abused and malnourished make him look sick.
After reading the book, I actually can’t imagine this role being portrayed by other actor. He fit it so well
I feel the need to feed him every time I see him.

I think he is an amazing actor. Everything he does looks effortless and perfect! Some people No matter how much they eat do not put in any weight maybe this is due to him being a dancer at such a young age! All the stunt scenes take a lot of energy! There filming schedules, are very tiring, He could also have thyroid problems as this makes you very skinny too! Till the end of the moon is one of the best dramas Iv seen him and Bailu have such a wonderful chemistry as a lot of Chinese actor/actresses lack in the intimacy scenes that spoils certain scenes. Luo with Bailu do not disappoint they make you believe there love is real and they have a very special talent doing this..

Luo YunXi is very talented and very handsome,in fact,he has one of the finest faces on international TV, I actually had to Google him up,to convince myself he wasn't bi-racial. He wasn't so skinny in Ashes of love, but, since his weight loss is not posing any health challenge,no problem. He is an amazing actor and good singer. For a 35 years old,he looks fantastic. Thanks to the actor who turned down the role of RunYu😅,cos I can't imagine anyone doing justice to the role as YunXi has done.
I totally agree. In 100% other drama I hate the dark character or enemy but in Ashes of Love I wanted Jinmi to love Runyu at least in the end. My favorite scenes were were he acted.

TTEOTM's Tantai Jin is described in the novel as an emaciated youth due to bullying/poverty, so Luo Yunxi's physique suits the character completely! It was a tactical decision to look malnourished.
I thought Yunxi said he dislike claims that he is too thin because he won't eat to fit the role. He eats a lot especially spicy dishes. Never holds back... He is one person who naturally cant put on much weight...??? Am I right. Let him eat man, And know what it is great to be able to eat heartily and stay slim and wear all those lovely outfits, period costume or suits... so handome no matter what he puts on!!! 😅😅😅❤❤❤

I am coming back to this narration about him when i want to remember this wonderful journey of Yunxi to stardom and success. I am especially touched by his determination to continue when injured, not once but so many times. I am all ears to what he says about what he wants to do to do it well, with perfection. I get more and more intrigued. I do not doubt all he says he can do. He demonstates these skills repeatedly. I do not accept the criticisms about his weight , thin etc etc. The audience is far too brutal. What ever you want to do, to eat, how you want to live your life, you go Yunxi, the beautiful man, actor, singer, dancer, cook, embroidery etc just go for it and stay happy an healthy. Cant please all. It really doesnt matter.. ❤❤❤

I believe he's such a old soul with many characters that ppl would wish to be. I love him in every drama always worried about his weight until last year when I really got to know him more that he was a ballet dancer. He's a cool actor in my book and still look great for his age.

Here i am again. This is one of the best summaries I have come across. In 12 mins you managed to create a cross section of his life and growth in stature in so many fields. I came on to become a loyal fan after seeing TTEOTM about 9 to 10 mths ago and happened on this website. I have seen most of his later dramas but missed most of those by before my sunshine i think. Must be because of no Eng subs on overseas websites like dramacool and kissasian. If a local website has subs for those earlier dramas which lay the foundation of his success befote Fox in the Screen, I really would like to see it. Can anyone help?😊🌹🙏
After love is sweet I noticed how much weight he had dropped and mentioned it in one of UA-cam videos interviews. I was afraid that he was ill with something that was causing the weight loss because when he was a dancer in ballet he was never that thin. I don’t know if maybe he has a very high metabolism. And no doubt his workload. But people should not criticise him for his weight, people are always either not happy that you’re fat or not happy that you’re thin. As long as he is well and healthy , that is all that should be important. He is such a multitalented guy and very sweet. I have seen him come out of his shell and be a little bit more interactive with interviews et cetera. I do always look forward to listening to him as I find the little boy in him comes out more . Run Yu stole the show!!! I remember I started to watch ashes of love because of deng lun, but Fish Fairy stole my heart the first second he entered the frame!! I think in the beginning he had similiarities to Leslie Cheung, and later he reminds me much of Chen Kun. But nowadays he is his very own league.
