In this follow-up to the near-perfect adaptation of Little Women, a tough street kid is accused of theft at homeless school for boys.
I am 47 years old.i saw this movie at age 15.this is an amusing and entertaining movie.i saw the 1934 version when I was 16 years old.i enjoy that version too.
A fine picture .I like very much of every character . Such films of those days give good morals . From Tamil Nadu India 🇮🇳 .
Very underrated movie.
Thanks for sharing it.
How do you know it's underrated?

It's an excellent movie, but "Little Women" gets the attention.
Thank you 🤩🤩🤩💖💖
Although this is a sweet movie, it has little to do with Alcott’s novel. Like too many movies based on novels, this has taken great liberties with the plot, and watered it down to sell tickets. The book centers on Nat, the boy violinist, and it is he, not Dan, who is punished for lying by having to strike Mr. Bhaer, not Mrs, with a wooden ruler. It’s a shame that so many are tricked into believing that this movie is the real thing. Go read the book - it is so much better!
"What was it? His heart? No, his feet. He couldn't outrun the bullet." : )
Thank you .
I like the other version too. I seen it in the 80s

GREAT 🍿!! Even a funny ending. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✌️😁
This is the 1940's version. Ralph Morgana and Erin O'Brien-Moore does NOT star in this version. Kay Francis does.
That's right but there is no other version.

@@keithharvey7230 There is a 1934 version of Little Men starring Ralph Morgan and Erin O'Brien-Moore. The 1940 version is a remake of the 1934 film
Great Movie !! And ( 55:00 ) I know that Actor , LOL, He was from the "Three Stooges"...!!.
You might be confusing Jack Oakie the comic sidekick in this movie with Shemp Howard, a Stooge for a time, Moe Howard’s brother…?
The Police officer, "Bud Jamison". been in many Three stooges shorts..
@@ziggy72170 OOOhhhhh. Wow, you know stuff! I had no idea - thanks for the info! I love the unsung character actors.
*Liked It*
This bears no resemblance to the books. A bit of comedy that should perhaps have a different title.
Sweet
Streets are so free of horse poo. In movies.
47:50 This is a typical passage of this masterpiece, I believe. I wonder #1 Why does the woman tell the boy to hit her with the switch? #2 What makes the boy cry and feel sorry?
I think she felt the boy wouldn't really feel the switch. He was as tall as her! So she was trying to get thru to him in a different way. She sensed correctly that he would feel bad about hurting her physically (as he was already hurting her a bit by being "obstinate".)
Is The fella who plays the bugle the same guy on the beach in Rebecca?
30:30 he got problems.....he's so weird.... 30:45 that's my exact expression!
Forgive and thanks for forgiving the consequences of mentioning my wrong words thanks

Cow's don't have horns, unless it was a gay bull looking back and thinking I'll have some off him, he's got horns as well.
26:25 “what a bunch of liars you couldn’t make me see that” 決して素直に仲良しになろうとはしないダンである。 Rather “Film is stranger than the truth.” than “The truth is stranger than fiction.”)thanks
