33:31 just as a heads-up, the parachute part in the first level of sf2 leads to a h11 rifle pickup on top of that boulder behind your teammates. You can also find a h11 about halfwayish through the mission in the caves, or below them? Cant remember exactly! Keep up the good content mang!
what you said about emulation and saving at 13:00 made me applaud and salute :D i never played these games but i want to try them out now. great retrospective!
Emulation gives new life to retro games. I understand wanting to play on the OG hardware with a CRT, but being able to save, completely changes how retro games play, in a usually positive way imo. I play games I otherwise wouldn't. Also thanks!
Nothing is more satisfying then seeing videos like this and checking the date "1 month ago" hell yeah! Syphon Filter deserves it, specially considering in 2024, there are so few good games, like Reveil, Lazaret, Anger Foot, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP and... well, to my experience, that's it. I did finish a 2019 game yesterday called GYLT, but Syphon Filter 1,2,3 are fantastic, but sadly, few people know about it, because they somehow think Golden Eye or Metal Gear is better (and everyone who reads this will say that is the case, but I don't think so).
@@PlayStation_Paradise I never played the og coz it was consoles-only, so I can't compare, but I just closed the game in the last level and I'm loving it mostly because it's been 12 years I wanted to play this iconic game. Since I don't know which problems already existed, it's hard to say this, but overall, I do think this remaster is half-baked. So many issues and game-breaking bugs, you can't even save your progress unless you alt+F4, nothing's more insane than that haha but I'm not complaining, my pc is crap and I was 99% the game wouldn't run, it doesn't let you change any settings ingame, but if you tweak the .inis, then even the FPS is great now!
I'm playing Syphon Filter PS2 versions (Dark Mirror, Omega Strain) in 2024. This is my first time playing these games and missed out during on earlier games since I mainly had Xbox consoles growing up (which no complaints either) but never got to play the exclusives of Syphon Filter. I adapted to the game right away since Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell were my top titles. As of 2024 I'm replaying MGS, Splinter Cell, OG Resident Evil games, KOF series, and now Syphon Filter added. I tossed those new gen consoles and settled for the old stuff. Games of today are too woke, so I'm benefiting from the old school games where they naturally had strong male and female roles in these games.
I remember in the first level of the first game, to kill Kravitch, you could go for a good-timed headshot, or just keep shooting him until his body armor wears off, or do what I did as a kid, which I found out by accident: find the grenade launcher in the alley and use that to kill him. And yeah, I agree; when I was a kid, it was fun using the Taser on bad guys, lol.
I appreciate it! People seem to like longer videos more. They're fun, but they take longer ofc. I'm happy but also kinda sad to be finished with syphon filter. Not much else to talk about for it.
You're wrong about the target meter. It's true on how the danger meter works but the target meter will still allow you to hit enemies when it's not fool. It's percent based while the danger meter is binary.
Syphon Filter needs to return with a remake of the original game
I can only get so hard
Yeah that’s never gonna happen Sony is only interested in games like the last of us
@@austinblack7991could happen. As a bait and switch where Logan steps aside for a trans woman of color.
If I had the rights I would remake this game on unreal engine. It’s my childhood favorite.
the air taser will live in infamy forever~

I loved lollipop chainsaw but haven't kept up with the remaster. Is it just as good? I heard most the music is gone :(

probably the funniest thing in the world
In the top 5 ps games for sure
Which is the best?
@@PlayStation_Paradise the first 1 i think.
@@slavitdeezer Same. 2 is basically just as good, but 1 is the most nostalgic for me.
I'm on 3 now, so far it's felt like a giant espionage movie split into three acts and I love it.
Yep the beginning of this vid was my childhood to
U gotta auto lock on the target than switch to manual aim for fast head shots. My childhood wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for that taser ha

Yeah u trippin on omega strain being the worst lol. I do believe that it was a little too ahead of it's time.
