This game gives me such huge nostalgia because i used to play this a lot back then alongside with my cousin I still have the game i should play it I haven't collected all the animals

I wish the series would continue but in the spirit of the first 3. The others didn't have the charm for me.

It defintely won’t red faction 1 but I’m glad I played it. Some levels were really fun imo, and some levels scared me. The plot also may be a possible reality 100 years from now.

I loved this game - the co-op didn't feel THAT forced, as there was extra unlockables for doing so. The other thing that always cracked me up was the fact they use a map of Toronto in a cut scene - which made me think that there would be a mission in Canada. NOPE lol. I wonder if I still have the demo disc they mailed me back b4 the game released?

I still play this series to this day. I found this game on the demo disk that used to come with the PS1.

It takes serviceable content to make me watch for <30 minutes. It takes amazing content to make me sit there for 4 hours.

This game has "sim-cade" handling. Some games got it feeling good, and other's fell into an odd feeling middleground between Sim and Arcade like this game. 3:47

Yeah this sounds about right with what me and my friends have tried with the game, the handling is so weird and drags the whole experience down. We honestly thought there was some dodgey auto-assist braking thing turned on but no, the game does slow your car down that much if you so much as lightly drift or take big turns. I still want to give the Japanese version a try some day just to see the difference, but yeah wish it had a better handling model cos in every other aspect this game is cool

Nothing is more satisfying then seeing videos like this and checking the date "1 month ago" hell yeah! Syphon Filter deserves it, specially considering in 2024, there are so few good games, like Reveil, Lazaret, Anger Foot, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP and... well, to my experience, that's it. I did finish a 2019 game yesterday called GYLT, but Syphon Filter 1,2,3 are fantastic, but sadly, few people know about it, because they somehow think Golden Eye or Metal Gear is better (and everyone who reads this will say that is the case, but I don't think so).

I rented this game and that felt like enough but I do admire the graphics more now than I did then.

The main issue with this game (and this comes from a series veteran who has played every SF game from the beginning) is around 75% of this game takes place in the past. I get why they tried this approach to get us fans to peer into the backstory of the core four and how they all got involved with The Agency but doing a prequel only works if the people can get invested into the characters involved. The only good flashback mission is the first since it's a callback to the original game. A couple of the current day missions outright suck (I.E. the Australian missions). This is an okay game but it's a bad SF game. One tidbit IDK if you cover but this was delayed due to 9/11 and the cover had to be changed and reshipped out, so there's a few people out there with the alternate cover of the game that goes for a crap ton on e-Bay just because of its rarity.

I absolutely love this game. I would pretty much pay any price for a sequel especially a VR version.

honestly as good as this game was don't play it on the new consoles they ported over the psp version of it not the ps2 version of it so you cant roll or even zoom in to shoot unless you have a scope

For that mission where you have to rescue Marcus from the Triads, there is a spot in the front (behind a fence and near all the cops who are waiting outside) where you can climb up onto the roof of the warehouse and jump between the two buildings. I too could not climb on the van and found this alternate path while trying random things.

I thought I knew all the mech games on PC, but Battle Engine Aquila somehow escaped my all-seeing gaze :D looks like it's right up my alley, too. Gonna get it as soon as I have some time to play it. Thanks!

Ace combat is such a underrated game don't forget Ace combat has been around snice the ps1 back in 1995 yes 1995 only now only around 10/15 games are still hear on the console today not many game pass 4 these day Ace combat has around 17 games to data and hopefully Ace combat 8 will be out sometime 2025...

Ok there are a few wrong things in the Front Mission 3 section. You don't swap between routes you make a seemingly inconsequential choice very early in the game and that choice determines what path you end up on. Basically you have an e-mail and if you make one choice you read it before a major event. Otherwise you read it later and whether or not you know what's in the email determines your course of action during the major event I mentioned. Front Mission 4 has two routes you swap between not 3. In 3 once you unknowingly pick your path its set.

I cant disagree with the title more. I dont suggest it be your first ace combat game, but someone who has played the series before should absolutely play Air Combat as a sort of pilgrimage.
